Not saying she lied. I'm saying as the previous poster maybe it started out that way, but I doubt it stayed that way. For one it defeats the whole point of a 'mobile' business. Two as a mother of 3 single kids it would be hard to turn down any opportunity to make some extra money.

Besides driving around with the decals she was also had the facebook page, and was placing ads online. Why advertise at all if it's just for your friends? The point of any business is to make money.

Is just weird, nothing nefarious about it or badmouthing the victim.

A while back in the threads, Lake Mary was mentioned. Not the city of Lake Mary, but an actual lake....It is near Rose Blvd and there is an abandoned concrete factory on Mary Jess Road. From some research I found this MIGHT have been a place where Dale hung out when he was younger. While searching for abandoned buildings in that area a good friend of mine named Trixie pointed out an old concrete factory that has been abandoned since the late 90's. Hmmm.

If you are good at Google Maps: Zoom in on Mary Jess Road...it will be off to the right of Rose Blvd. East. The concrete factory is just above Lake Mary. Any thoughts? TIA

Thank you for this post Kamille, I couldn't agree with you more.....yet another insinuation that Michelle was engaging in something untoward that put her in danger. First it is because she is a bartender and female bartenders are usually "slutty" and now its that she was doing something other than tanning parties for women with her tanning business.

Can we stop the stereotypical, wildly incorrect, sexist objectifying of women please? And more importantly, can the victim blaming stop? It's offensive in so many ways.

The victim here is Michelle who by all accounts was a hard working, family oriented, single mother ...

First of all, I think I feel compelled here to say something beforehand and in no uncertain terms (and it is unfortunate that I feel I need to)

IMO No one deserves to be abducted, killed and having their body tossed somewhere like a discarded doll or killed in any other way,

By the same token, one needs not have lived an exemplary life to be a victim and one does not need to be a mother, a father, a son, a single mother, hard working or not, black, white, green, blue or anything special at all to be a victim.

If I was killed I'd be a victim, and I have had so many failings in my life, and so I think most of us if not all of us. I never was one for big and absolute proclamation of virtues either for me or anyone else. I simply would know better.

I have a question for a mod... I really loved our Astro forum, thought it was incredibly interesting. If I went online & asked a highly respected astrologer to pull a chart for location, could I post it or would it not be allowed since the Astro threads are closed now? All I'm saying is that it might not hurt & it would be nice to just try to have everyone map something out together. Ya never know... I absolutely loved reading those threads & I was such a skeptic! It would be a path none of us has tried in attempting to locate Michelle. Pleeeeease...

I never frequented that forum too often although I've heard it was very interesting. I think it was closed because the person who mainly oversaw it was no longer able to participate for some reason. Not sure of the details.

Yes the point of a business is to make money but not at the expense of your safety. IIRC Michelle met soley with women and typically several at a time as she hosted tanning parties and other related activities. Just because most of her clients were people she already knew doesn't mean she wouldn't advertise or want new customers. To make more money you typically need more customers...

Once she found a new potential client she could easily meet someone in a secure place (salon etc)..that's safety 101...which as a mother of 3...I am sure took precedence over a few extra bucks... Besides there is still no evidence Michelle left Dale's under her own free will and no evidence her vehicle was ever seen with the Glow Decals in place after Michelle arrived at Dale's.

With all due respect to the victim and everyone else here at webslueths, my personal opinion is that after reading what went on here today, well astrology charts for this is a bad idea. Maybe just to get a location, but anything more i would say no, because alot of people are not going to like what is seen and shown in the charts and what its showing the events for that day. Just thought i would be honest. Not trying to cause a problem or insinuate anything immoral or bad about the victim.

I can understand why Trixie thought this would be a good place to investigate. I have taken a longer look and Im fairly sure I have the right spot. In street view, you can see it has new owners and is being put to use. Out of street view you see it as the abandoned concrete factory. I tried to connect names but wasnt able to. Any evidence here would have to have been hidden well and finding it would probably require a sledgehammer. All LE would have to do is check any new concrete.

I found this... September of 2011, Onstar started emailing and/or contacting their clients to inform them that starting December 2011 their company would still maintain a 2-way connection to their vehicle unless said person completely opts out & states otherwise. Michelle disappeared November of 2011 & her OnStar was deactivated, so would they have still kept records during that time? Thanks for your insight into this! Great to have a techie on Michelle's forum!

You really need to read between the lines with these large corporations. I had the same thought today so I went back and scoured OnStar's current and 2010 TOS. What the TOS states IMO is that they will not sell the data until after Dec. As far as I know they were already recording GPS data prior to that. They would be allowed to as long as the data never left their possession.

If you look at the prior TOS you will see that it clearly states they can collect data for research. It also states they can update your computer software without your consent which I found odd. So the two way technically never goes away. From what I can tell it doesn't say they were not already doing it just that from now on even if you buy a brand new car you're going to get it whether you like it or not and they will be selling anonymous data from its use.

Also the vehicle should have been located instantly. OnStar has been sued before for not providing a vehicle location during a missing persons case (turned out to be an abduction / murder) even though the OnStar service was completely off. This was back in 2005. They settled out of court. Heres what I know. In the GPS unit there is going to be a memory chip. So lets say OnStar doesn't have any data (not buying it). If LE did not start or move the vehicle without using a tow truck then there is a good chance that chip still has some kind of buffer data. Which would be its last trip.

I once saw them solve a murder investigation in Australia by using the memory chip from a pacemaker. There is more then one way to skin a cat. It is also possible for someone to hack the system and retrieve the data from the OnStar GPS device. This data would be perishable so if the vehicle is used after the fact it will be overwritten at some point (dunno when I couldn't locate the schematics). The vehicle still receives GPS data after the service is disconnected. Apparently people hack it so they don't have to pay for it.

As I have stated Id pull the box with the chip while simultaneously getting a court order for the data based on the VIN from OnStar aka GM. Even if they say it doesn't exist. You would also need a tech to write what they want specifically from OnStar. Anyone else writing it will get the language wrong and they will simply say they don't have 'that' data and they might be right. If you understand what I am saying.

So what about other peoples GPS units? Does DS have one? The more I talk the more I worry I might be tipping the perp off. However even if the perp threw away his GPS device there would still be an account associated with it. What does DS drive? Did it come with OnStar?

I totally agree...though I did not have the privilege of meeting Michelle...from all accounts from those who knew her she seemed like an amazing mother and bundle of joy who was working hard to provide a better life for her children. Until Dale took that opportunity away! Not only that he was the one to start the whole escort rumor via his Buck Fuddy FB account. MOO Some people took the opportunity to bash Michelle because they know their "innocent" Dale is going away for a LONG time! JMO

If he would set his FB back to public I could devulge his list of "likes"...but from his current FB photo albums I have made a list of some of the places he hangs out (past and present) and via his MySpace videos of places he frequents. MOO he likes drinking. Michelle also said he had a problem with drugs and alcohol. So where would he buy his drugs (street corners? Friends? Dad?). IMO he likes bars and fast women....he obviously is into costumes, fantasy play otherwise known as cosplay, Star Wars, and did I mention drinking? Oh and beating and stranding women when he doesn't get his way...JMO
