So what I am reading is that this man murdered someone, it was plead down to agg batt and he got 6 months? OMG.:maddening:

Wish we knew the victim's name so we could sleuth the case. Maybe there were more perps involved by the sounds of it.

did someone still need the video for the press confrence?

----heh heh, nevermind. ignore that.

The one thing that stuck out in my mind today was how extremely tired the family looked. Their strength is undeniable, but the wear and tear of this ordeal is showing in all their faces. God bless them all.

Just a reminder...

No copy and paste from facebook pages. Thanks.

Let me say this, IF Dale had anything to do with this, how stupid is he to have done it on the day that People's Court aired!

I don't think it was preplanned. I think he flew into a rage.

I wonder what LE knows to name him this way...we know he was the last to see her, officially anyway, and yet there are cases like Katelyn Markham, where her boyfriend appears to be the last one to see her, and has not been named a suspect after 3 months. Difference in LE, or perhaps this guy's past is playing into it? Or do they have proof he has lied about something? JMO Just wondering.

I am wondering if the kids are the source of some of the information LE has...and if that is true i can imagine that would throw an entirely different dynamic into how the case was investigated, and reported (having the best witness be a 3 year old)

I dont know folks, this just got strange for me

Dale Smith the prime suspect,ok, why NOW after 11 days?
He should have been the prime suspect from minute one f only because he was the last one to see her, so what gives? OPD don't seem to know much, including where the kids are.

My bet is that DS is holding her at some location against her will to make a family with him. Someone who is so immersed in a fantasy life as he is with the dressing up like star wars at the ripe age of 40 is bound to be dillusional. This is perhaps why they stormed the house on Saturday..

Bet they tapped the house with the errrrr uummm "raid". They may have his and his father's cell/phone tapped too, imo.

There are private lakes and large ponds all over the place down here. Most apartment complexes have large ponds, as do a lot of buildings. The body they found today was in an office pond.
But which ones are private enough that no one would see some one around 8pm disposing of a large container. Also does DS Sr or Jr have access to a private lake/pond such as a membership or something. I hope LE is looking closely at all bodies of water that are a very short distance from where the phone last pinged. Time was limited and if this is what happened it had to have been done quickly and with full belief that their actions were private.

I am now actually relying on LE's "untruthfulness" in this case. They have "misspoken" about other issues, and I hope that's what's happening with the twins and where they are.

I am believing in my heart of hearts that LE knows where the babies are and have been watching for their safety all along. I am hoping Le has already removed the children from DS's supervision, and if not, that they will be doing so very, very soon. One can only hope ...

It seems in almost every case LE will publicly state they have "no suspect" when of course the "big elephant" is in the room. They have their reasons as we all know and does cause us to look at all angles.

I can't imagine they don't know where the twins are and I'm sure they would never put them in jeopardy. When the family was asked this evening where are the twins they clammed up a bit. I betcha they know exactly where they are and it's not with DS jr or sr.

So according to LE, loudly and openly proclaiming DS to be the prime suspect is a "strategy". Interesting.

What could that strategy be? Typically, officially naming someone a suspect sends them to the nearest lawyer and how could that possibly help LE? It doesn't help LE in the slightest.

Makes me wonder if DS is a part of this "strategy" and agreed to it. I think LE slipped up when they admitted they didn't know where the twins were. They sure as hell would have known exactly where those children were before making a public announcement like this, if indeed DS is the prime suspect.

I don't think he is. I think something else is going on.

BBM. Why would DS do that? Have you ever seen this happen before? I haven't. IMO, if LE says someone is a primes suspect it's because they are a prime suspect.

I wonder what LE knows to name him this way...we know he was the last to see her, officially anyway, and yet there are cases like Katelyn Markham, where her boyfriend appears to be the last one to see her, and has not been named a suspect after 3 months. There is no good reason I can think of for LE to publicly out someone like this under these circumstances. They usually do this when there is a manhunt afoot for someone who has absconded (and they have charges prepared and waiting or the person has already been charged).

They know where this guy is; there is no point at all in telling the world he is the "prime suspect". It's counterproductive, in fact. Perps lawyer up when you do that and you've gained absolutely nothing whatsoever.

I wonder if they are trying to draw out someone else?

For those of you worrying about the twins, there is an encouraging comment on the family's FB page.

That must be a recent developement because her brother wasn't sure where they are? Per HLN?
