do any of the locals know if LE is still outside DT's home?

I asked yesterday when I wondered if maybe they were there to protect one of the children.

LE has done a really good job of keeping their cards close to their vests and I don't blame them although the selfish sleuth in me wishes we had some sort of info on cause and time of death, etc.

I would also like to add that, from what I saw on the dozen or so traveling carnivals' websites that I looked at, they all seem to be family owned & operated businesses, run by good people, so in now way am I meaning to imply that the owners of carnivals are pedophile child killers.

But it's possible that someone they hired on might be...

I wonder if the carnival owners run backround checks, and even if they did, what stops a perp from giving someone elses information?

Diena's lawyer, Michael Freed, hinted at progress in the police probe, telling Rodriguez he's "optimistic," based on "the information (authorities have) provided (to him) that they have the person who did this under observation, maybe among other people. They're waiting for certain scientific evidence to come back from certain unique labs around the country. They're putting great resources in to this, and this is really the perfect time for anyone that knows who did this or for the person that did this to help heal the wound that he's caused, not only of this family and the community, but, in fact, the nation. So I think that's just a matter of time before this is resolved and justice is done."


DT's lawyer says LE told him they have the person who did this under observation... wow that is great news.... :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I followed Somer since she went missing and was heartbroken when her body was found. I've been extremely busy with work and had the flu for the past couple of weeks and little Shaniya's case has taken all of my free time.

I've missed if they have released autopsy results or if there are any POI's. Can some kind person pleeeeease catch me up?

It sure would help if we knew whether PC's story about being at work and leaving from there were collaborated by anyone (supervisor, coworker).

I would think he would have told someone what was going on and wouldn't just up and leave.

For reference, here is the church in relation to the area Somer was last seen.

Just wondering whether it would be feasible that someone from the carnival grabbed her and kept her in his/her vehicle while he/she worked to set up the carnival.

Not sure how much setup would have taken place or what time the carnival workers arrived on October 19.

BUT wonder if maybe one of them was mistaken for CWG? (maybe church volunteer thought she saw CWG?)

Maybe they have partial fingerprints or DNA. They maybe analyzing something found like tape or fiber which holds a clue. Not every lab can do that. They have to dot every " i " and cross every "t".

I saw a case of a partial print arresting someone 10 years after the fact. He was a serial rapist.

Funny thing is this is the same site most posters complained to the site about and hit the report article button one day this week.. correct??

I have always taken this site with a grain of salt... I don't have much respect for this reporter.... they don't do enough research to satisfy me and most of the links are broken to verify what they post and report..

I found it very encouraging when DT's lawyer stated the he felt that the person that did this was under observation from the info that LE had provided to him.

Why does DT want to talk to Shaniya's dad and offer support. It's not like Somer died years ago. It was just one month ago. If I were DT, I would be on the phone all day trying to find out what happened to my daughter. I wouldn't settle with not seeing the body nor not knowing what killed her. I would be on tv trying to get information not trying to offer support to others. You remember the Dr. Phil show. Those parents were desperate to get information. I'm sure if/when Morgan's body is found, they will insist on knowing everything. DT just doesn't make any sense to me. She is so deceptive. She reminds me of Susan Smith.
