I've just reread my notes I made when I first read the docs. These poor children's education was shameful.
Oldest boy 6/30/01 got the most but did KG, G1, G6, G8, G8, G9. He missed 5 years from 2007-2013.
Next boy 04/18/03 did grade 3 missed three years and did G7, G7 again then finished.
Next boy 1/30/06 did grade did grade 1, missed three years then G3,G3 Again then nothing.
Next not 7/28/07 did KG then missed three years then Y2 and Y2 again then nothing.
Next boy 7/27/08 did G1, G2, G2 again then nothing.
Next one 10/01/08 did G1 AND G1 again then nothing.
Next one 05/20/11 did only KG.

Man accused in daughter's starvation death allowed to keep lawyer


WEST PALM BEACH — The man accused of starving his baby girl to death will keep his court-appointed lawyer in his death-penalty case, according to a Palm Beach County judge’s order.

Circuit Judge Joseph Marx ruled that Michael Salnick can continue as Alejandro Aleman’s lawyer after Salnick disclosed he had represented two prosecution witnesses in separate criminal proceedings.

EXCLUSIVE: How did baby Tayla Aleman starve to death?

The baby couldn’t crawl. She had no teeth. Her tiny body was wracked with influenza, Streptococcus, e. Coli, pneumonia — found in the baby’s blood and in her lungs, detectives told her mother. She was severely dehydrated. Tayla was covered with raw sores and a rash on her genitals that was so red it resembled a burn.

She died of exhaustion from lack of nutrition as a result of neglect.

The parents face the death penalty in a trial slated for January.

Mom to use insanity defense in infant starvation trial

Lawyers have filed a notice of intent to rely on the insanity defense on behalf of Kristen Meyer, the woman charged with first-degree murder in her 18-month-old daughter’s starvation, in her death-penalty trial.

In a court document released Monday, Meyer’s attorneys wrote the 45-year-old suffers from bipolar disorder and "she did not know what she did was wrong or the consequences of her actions or inactions."

Meyer is slated to appear before Circuit Judge Cheryl Caracuzzo on Sept. 20 to begin jury selection, but the lawyers will meet with the judge Aug. 13 to ask for a continuance.

Alejandro Aleman, who is represented by defense attorney Michael Salnick, is scheduled to appear before Circuit Judge Joseph Marx on Oct. 28 when a possible trial date may be set.
