Gorgone now testifying about two Timberland boots deputies found in dumpster behind apartments.

Investigators say the boots belong to Toledo

The left boot tested positive for blood, DNA expert said Investigators have said that was Thalia's blood #luistoledo

For areas A, B, and C, could not generate DNA results too diluted or degraded he said. Area D was too limited DNA results

Area D was from at least one male. For area E he was able to generate a mixture of DNA #luistoledo

But for Area E he was able to match a complete profile to Thalia Otto. The rest of DNA was too limited #luistoledo

Area F results were too limited to get DNA results, he said #luistoledo

He found a mixture of DNA on the sweat pants found in dumspter so he could not match to anyone but determined at least one male contributed

He did not find any blood on vacuum cleaner found in another dumpster. He found dirty water inside canister and was negative for blood

He said the canister water smelled like potential cleaning products. Some jurors taking notes as DNA expert testifies

Would that Petco dumpster be near Chris LaSanta's house? Maybe he dropped off stuff on his way there? Or is this stuff even relevent? The tweets don't tell me whether anything was positively linked to this case.

Yes, Kamille, the Petco is near LaSanta's house. They did show a map that included LaSanta's house, the Petco, the Publix and the dumpster at the apts. But that pic wasn't tweeted. :(

I think he had to have dropped stuff off on his way to LaSanta's, only because he was at the house at 5:30am and knocked on the neighbor's window at about 6:11am. It takes about 16 minutes to drive from the brother's house to Toledo's house (I think), so assuming he spent a few mins talking to his brother, the timing would be close. Of course, it's possible he dropped things at the Petco dumpster after speaking with the brother but the things were buried, tho it could be that dumpster was empty and Petco placed things on top afterward. I believe the Petco dumpster wasn't checked until after noon sometime. So really, I suppose he could have dumped those either before or after talking with the brother. I don't think he dumped those things when the neighbor was along because Jackson never mentioned that dumpster that I know of.

Johnson is on redirect as testimony resumes in #luistoledo case. Nappi now on recross

Nappi asks about the black shirt that Toledo could not be included in DNA from shirt, even though he could not be excluded. Gorgone agrees

Mark Johnson then asks Tyshawn Jackson was excluded from the shirt. Gorgone said yes Jackson's DNA was excluded from shirt

Now another FDLE analyst has taken the stand.

DNA analyst says he found a partial DNA profile to Michael Otto in blood on a gauze #luistoledo

DNA analyst said another swab from master bathroom was a partial match to Thalia Otto #luistoledo

Prosecutor Will said earlier they don't believe Michael's blood which was a small amount on a gauze is related to the crime #luistoledo

DNA expert said Thalia could neither be included or excluded from another swab but everyone else, such as Toledo or Jackson were excluded

FDLE analyst said none of the samples he tested contained blood that even partially matched Tyshawn Jackson #luistoledo

Nappi just named three samples from master bath that did not come back as positive for blood. Nappi focusing on bloodless swabs

Swab under latch area failed to indicate blood, Nappi asked. FDLE analyst said it was not tested for blood.

No blood on handle of shovel in garage, Nappi asked? No blood, analyst said

Has it been determined how they got the DNA sample for Tyshawn Jackson? Did he give it voluntarily?

I'll have to wait for the video to upload and see if I can screen grab that map. I'm very interested in the time line between about 1:30am and 5:30am that includes a drop at the dumpster behind Petco. I'm also interested to know if they definitively determined that those items were dumped by LT? :waitasec:

Is the only proof that LT showed up at his brother's house at 5:30am, his brother's word?
