About the letter, Steven DEFINITELY wrote the letter and Zellner did NOT set it up or know about it. This is from Sandra G who left a post about it on the family FB page (I am leaving a link to her statement she made about it below) and from what I understood about the conversation SG was saying that Steven had a "friend" (quotation marks around friend was also included from Sandra, LOL) who set this up and now it was left to Sandra to have to try to clean it up. She seems to have much animosity towards this "friend", which is understandable, considering the letter to IN TOUCH makes mention of Lynn and that SA loves her. Lynn seems to be the new "girlfriend" of SA and if it is true she was instrumental in setting this article up, SA is a fool for just trusting someone that he doesn't know to have his best interests at heart over someone (namely SG) who HAS been instrumental in getting to Zellner in the first place years ago. How does he know that this Lynn person wasn't setup by someone from the prosecution side to be in contact and get close to him in order to do something JUST LIKE THIS. SA is known to be very reactionary and a hothead so I have no problem envisioning this as a possible tool to throw a money wrench in SA appeal process. He needs to start listening to his attorney and stop making her job more difficult that it already is. :( http://imgur.com/vMEBvfA

Or a sociopath who loved the attention that he got when the series debuted, it was all about him back then, probably is angry that all the media attention and public love has been focused on Zellner so he's scheming to shift the focus and attention back to him.
 
If what you posted is true Jaiddie, I imagine that KZ is not going to be too happy with SA.

I also see it as being from a man that is not very smart, who has been screwed by the system at least once, and if he is truly innocent of this murder, twice! I doubt he even trusts KZ 100%.

I can understand SA frustration and anger when it comes to DS & JB, though. You have to remember that he has been sitting in prison for almost half his life, most of that time (if not all, in some opinions, mine included) for crimes he did not commit. Then along comes MaM and S & B are suddenly living like rock stars, touring the world, and holding conventions, while SA is still languishing away in prison. The guys who lost his case are now superstars, and that must be a pretty hard pill to swallow while he has been wasting away (in total) over twenty years in a prison cell, just saying. All JMO, of course.

I am assuming it is true, as the info came from a conversation that Sandra was having on the official facebook page, and I agree that him taking this action was not very smart of him, but him trying to include the media seems to be a thing he has always tried to use, which I also can understand, at least in the past anyway. He did it back in 2005 too. S & B tried to get the jail to not let Steven talk to any media while in there and were basically told that "no, nothing can be done, he is your problem to deal with". Back then, I can understand his wanting his side of the story to get out because all the media were running with was Kratz's morbid fairy tale, but that is not the case today. I am hoping that Zellner maybe knew that something like this would happen with him, considering his past behavior with this kind of stuff, and just gives him a good talking to. :(

I can understand that SA is frustrated but in B&S defense... they tried to introduce third party alternatives to the crime but were hamstrung. They tried to get fair forensics and were denied. There's not much else they could do. A LE planting defense ok sure but they are up against a jury that already believes he's guilty and an idea LE can do no wrong because these are our men that we know in our community "good solid decent family men". There's a faith in that idealism that would take Zellnamis to errode. I don't think even B&S believed everything was planted that she wasn't even killed at the yard.

Oh, I agree with you personally, myself, about B & S defense, for the most part. I was just pointing out where SA frustration and anger about them are stemming from (IMO) and that I can empathize with him for that. I was giving SA point of view, mainly there, not necessarily my own. However, though I do feel that B & S did an okay job, considering all the road blocks the prosecution threw in their way, there are still a few of their defense decisions that make me shake my head in confusion on how easily they let some things slide. Some examples are the "gentleman agreement" with Kratz to keep TH personal life out of the case, their ease in letting Kratz continually throw key witnesses names out that he would be calling to testistify and then never calling them to the stand and then B & S never called them up either, and most damaging of all, their decision to allow the sheriff's volunteer deputy and the retired wife to sit on the jury and possibly further taint the jury (IMO).

So crazy! This case gets worse from day to day.
Partial TH dna matches made from questionably legitimate tissue samples.
A doctored by LE cabinet (nail puller on the floor) that supposedly had a compartment that contained a suspicious (if it's even her's) rav 4 key
A box of "her bones" according to the prosecution, one of which is now proven to be a nearly intact avian bone.
And the 6 shell game of burn barrels going to and fro from the salvage yard. Some contain evidence and some don't, but wait... now they do!

The thing that I have found over the last few months is that "investigative journalism" is pretty much non-existent, except for maybe John Ferak, who has had some pretty good articles. As for the quality of the posts at reddit.... I have to say, there are some pretty smart people over there and some people that obviously have the time to comb through all the pictures and documents and have found MANY discrepancies, many more than have even been mentioned here.

Every time I read something interesting there.... I do my own research before I have ever brought the idea/picture/theory here. I did see the post about the nail puller the other day.... I went and looked at the original picture posted on the stevenavery.org site, and I even came here to see if that picture had been posted here..... I wanted to make sure it wasn't a doctored photo.... and yep, sure as heck, we posted it in a thread here and no one ever noticed it before!!! I have not read about the avian bone ... but I will. To disregard any information because of the site it is on is just silly IMO The posters there are, for the most part, no different than the posters here. I wish some of the posters from there would come here because I love the format here so much better. I have read so many articles on trusted MSM sites that are factually wrong about this case (regardless of what side of the fence you are on), that it is hard to recognise them as a "trusted" source. JMO

On point with every word! ( One of the reasons I've loved you from the beginning, Missy! IMO, you have always posted FACTS from CREDIBLE sources, AND/OR RESEARCHED each & every piece of evidence, always. ) Reiterating your reddit comment.. I see tons of great info there & would LOVE to have SOME ( of their ) posters join us, however, their format drives me nuts too!

Haven't looked into the Avian bone, yet. Read about it,annndd that's it. ( Lots of LAZY LAKE DAYS, camping & time at the water park. Going to take my girl to Graceland here in the next couple of weeks before school starts as she is a HUGE Elvis fan:heartbeat: After that, Rock & Roll HOF , one more camping trip and back to school... already! Summer time, always goes to fast for me..:blah: )

I ( along with a FEW others I'm sure ) am on pins and needles re Zellner & this " process " to move forward...:waiting::

SO curious to see her play her hand..
