I thought this was really weird:
Ms. Tangredi’s murder was one of three suspicious deaths reported in the area within a four-day stretch in 1993, according to a Newsday report at the time. Linda Greico, a 42-year-old postal worker, was shot to death in her driveway as she walked from her car to her home the day after Ms. Tangredi’s body was discovered. Earlier that same week, 73-year-old John Muller was found bludgeoned to death in his home on Hulse Landing Road in Wading River.

they make it sound like someone went on a killing spree with no method to the madness

Who was the forth victim?

The other murdered Costello...
June, 1986 PATRICIA COSTELLO of Brentwood, Suffolk County, was living in Bay Shore at the time of her murder. She worked as a topless dancer/cocktail waitress at various bars in Suffolk County. At about 5pm, Sunday, June 1, 1986, a horseback rider in Heckscher State Park found Ms. Costello’s nude, strangled body, approximately 200 feet from the shore of the Great South Bay in Islip. Seemingly, the assailant tried to make the murder appear to be a suicide by tying one end of a piece of material around Ms. Costello’s neck and the other around a nearby tree.

Sounds like a rookie mistake. JB would have been 19 going on 20 at the time.

Would be interesting to see if she was related in any way to ALC's ex-husband (like sister or ex-wife)

The victim would have been 26 in 1986. I remember Donald Costello (ALC's ex was in his 40's) I couldn't find anything re: any Patricia.
Donald Costello was quite a bit older than ALC. Donald would not comment in the early days. I read they met at church but his address, with ALC, was listed as the address for the exec of Private Playmate Escort Referral Service. This Escort service is connected to Manhattan, too and C Gray is the main name attached to both the Florida and NY businesses. Wish I knew where Mr Costello was from originally.

Saw a comment on a news day article mentioning Yvonne Ramirez from babylon. She was found nude in a field and murder still unresolved…1992
I quick searched here and google and didn't see any thing. The name could be misspelled or I missed it.

Any info on this gal?

She was actually mentioned early on in the other thread.

July 18, 1992 IVONNE RIVERA, vanished from TJ's, once a popular bar in the waterfront village of Babylon, 23-year-old statistics major left the bar
alone about 2:30 a.m. , planning to walk home. Her battered, naked body was discovered by a man walking his dog in a grassy area near the Babylon grade school. The cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma. Police never recovered her clothes, and declined then, and now, to say whether she had been sexually assaulted.

I never knew so many murders are unsolved. Very sad.

Nope. And I've looked at her for quite some time now. If you manage to turn up anything, please post it.

I do a lot of work with UID's, and their "stories" haunt me constantly. A while back, I worked on a case of a young man who disappeared in Colorado. His mother came to WS's looking for help finding him. I won't go into the specifics of that case, but shortly after we began looking for him his body was found. He'd walked off to a remote location and committed suicide. As heartbreaking as that was for his mother, I couldn't help but think how fortunate she was to have had some degree of closure, and how fortunate her son was, in death, to have his name, and the whole of his 24 years, reunited with his physical remains. UID's , to me , are the saddest cases of all, because they are found, but still profoundly lost.

Interesting so I wonder how she was in 1992 and who her friends were that she was talking to? Can anyone locate the field she was found in? This could possibly be an early bittrolff victim if its 1992 the girl tina foglia also was killed after leaving hammerheads a bar is massapequa so that's a wierd coincidence

How old? Class of '87 and I think I saw 23 years old
