The question in my mind is who cuts the first deal....Spanier is my guess. And secondly how much gets attached to Paterno? The Paterno family is probably in full damage control....again.
Not that much on the Paternos. Paterno said basically the same thing about trusting others. They issued a statement on Monday.
My guess is Curley. His attorney was vague and the AG's people did not put up a strong case, with virtually no new information on him.
Wow. That's interesting. I thought it would be the defendant facing the most evidence -- in this case, Schultz -- who is the one most likely to look for a deal.
Are you suggesting that the AG and Curley's attorney may have already been working on a deal?
