DISAPPEARANCE OF ANTOINE: TWO YEARS ON, THE COLLECTIF ANTOINE GETS TOGETHER IN CLARENSAC

France3 Info
https://france3-regions.francetvinf...-collectif-se-mobilise-clarensac-1434917.html

It has been two years since young Antoine disappeared from Clarensac in the Gard. The 16-year-old was last seen at the tobacco shop in his village on 1 March 2016. The campaign to find the teenager remains strong. Sunday, relatives, friends and strangers met again.

This Sunday, March 4, in Clarensac, in the Gard, the Collectif Antoine had scheduled a meeting at 11:30 a. m. at the communal stadium, so that nobody would forget Antoine. Once again, dozens of red balloons flew away, some in the shape of hearts.

His relatives always keep hope of finding a way to understand what could have happened. The trail of Nordhal Lelandais, who admitted killing little Maelys last summer, could be one.
This man who is imprisoned in connection with the murder of the little girl, has family in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, in the Gard. He has visited the Midi de la France several times in recent months, according to information gathered by investigators from the Chambéry investigation section. Verifications are still underway according to the members of the Antoine collective.

On March 1,2016, around a half hour past mid-day, Antoine Zoia had left his family home and said "I'd be back". He went to buy a lighter in the centre of the village, even though he did not smoke. And since then, there has been no sign of life: the young man has disappeared, without papers, telephone or money in his pocket.

Pictures of Antoine and a toll-free number are displayed on numerous advertising sites and also on trucks belonging to haulage companies operating throughout Europe.

POLICE INVESTIGATES THE TRAIL OF NORDAHL LELANDAIS IN TWO DISAPPEARANCES IN THE DRÔME

Le Monde
http://www.lemonde.fr/police-justic...sparitions-dans-la-drome_5267600_1653578.html

The trail of Nordahl Lelandais, accused of the murder of young Maëlys in August 2017, will be explored in two other investigations, we learned on Thursday 8 March from the prosecutor's office in Valence. These are the only two cases of persons who went missing and were never found in the department of Drôme, according to the prosecutor's office.

The first case concerns Eric Foray, who disappeared on 16 September 2016 in Chatuzange-le-Goubet (Drôme) while he had gone shopping in the village. This 48-year-old man was never found, nor was his vehicle.

The investigation, conducted by the Gendarmerie of Romans-sur-Isère, is still ongoing. A "working meeting" will soon be organised between the gendarmerie of Romans and the investigation section (SR) of Grenoble, according to Alex Perrin, the public prosecutor at the High Court of Valence. The SR of Grenoble is responsible for the investigation in the Maëlys case. Maëlys disappeared in August 2017, and Nordahl Lelandais claims to have killed her "accidentally".

At the same time, the lawyer of Eric Foray's companion filed on Tuesday a complaint against X for sequestration and with constitution of a civil party, at the senior investigating judge of Valence, the lawyer announced, confirming an information of BFM-TV.

On 11 January, the prosecutor also reopened an investigation that had been closed since 2015 into the disappearance of 29-year-old Nelly Balmain. In August 2011, this young woman left her parents' home in Saint-Jean-en-Royans (Drôme) and never reappeared. Her scooter was never found either. "The family relaunched us on this by providing working hypotheses. That's why we've reopened to cross-check every possible overlap," the prosecutor reports.

In early March, the families of two men who disappeared in Savoie in 2011 and 2012 on the fringes of an electronic music festival also filed a complaint. A coordination cell, called "Ariane", was created in January at the judicial headquarters of the national gendarmerie in Pontoise, in order to cross-check Nordahl Lelandeis's "life course" and unclear disappearances and crimes. Nordahl Lelandais has also been implicated, since December, in the assassination of a young soldier, Corporal Arthur Noyer, in April 2017 near Chambéry.

ARTHUR NOYER CASE: THE FIRST CONFESSIONS OF NORDAHL LELANDAIS

France Info
https://www.francetvinfo.fr/faits-d...miers-aveux-de-nordahl-lelandais_2648614.html

For the first time, Nordahl Lelandais admits to having crossed paths with Arthur Noyer. Before the investigating magistrate, he admitted to having picked up the young man on the night of his disappearance from a nightclub in Chambéry (Savoie). Nordahl Lelandais is still not acknowledging that he killed the young soldier. But for Arthur Noyer's parents, this beginning of recognition is undoubtedly a relief. Last December, their lawyer appealed to Nordahl Lelandais to speak.

The charges against him are overwhelming. On the evening of the Corporal's disappearance, the two men's phones were geolocated at the same location and followed the same route for part of the night before turning off. Arthur Noyer's skull was found last September on a forest road 15 kilometres from Chambéry.

Sven Lelandais, elder brother of Nordahl, has also been heard by the investigators:

Le Dauphine.com:
http://www.ledauphine.com/savoie/20...a-reconnu-avoir-pris-en-stop-le-caporal-noyer

Since this interrogation on 5 February, the Chambery investigators have conducted multiple hearings of relatives of Nordahl Lelandais. According to information from the Dauphiné Libéré, Nordahl's elder brother Sven was also heard. However, a source close to the file points out that "these are classic hearings, in the environment and as in any investigation". With these hearings, the gendarmes are now trying to determine the schedule for the second half of the night. As well as his schedule the following days. Let us recall that 12 days later, Nordahl Lelandais had consulted sites from his mobile phone by entering the following keywords:"decomposition of a human body".

Wonder what Sven is thinking now .....

FIRST RESULTS OF AUTOPSY: MAËLYS HAD A FRACTURED JAW

RTL.fr
http://www.rtl.fr/actu/justice-fait...e-fille-a-eu-la-machoire-fracturee-7792560666

The truth is being uncovered on the causes of Maëlys' death. According to information from RTL, the eight-year-old girl, who disappeared in late summer 2017, had a fractured jaw. This is the first report of the expertise conducted by forensic doctors and scientists of the gendarmerie. Was she the victim of a very violent blow? It's likely, but that clue is not yet sufficient at this stage to prove it.

Nordahl Lelandais's defence, who spoke of an accident, can overturn this element. He can also evoke the fall into the ravine, when he abandoned the body off the heights. Investigators are awaiting further evidence to support this theory of deliberate beatings. They're looking for traces, clues on the child's clothes. There were black spots on the remains of Maëlys's white dress, blood perhaps.

Another much awaited return of expertise is the girl's underwear. The experts analyze fiber by fiber, meticulously, the top and panties found in ball near the body. Analyses take a long time, this piece critical to their eyes has spent six months in nature. The cold, snow and mud have greatly degraded it. The investigators hope to have more information before the hearing of Nordahl Lelandais on Monday 19 March before the investigating judge.

NORDAHL LELANDAIS HAD BEEN VIEWING CHILD *advertiser censored*

Le Dauphine.com
http://www.ledauphine.com/actualite...landais-consultait-des-sites-pedopornographie

Nordahl Lelandais' ambivalent sexuality returns to the heart of the cases of Arthur Noyer and Maëlys. The use of his telephones and other digital media made it possible to establish that he visited numerous homosexual dating sites.

A homosexuality that he hid from his close relations. This expertise also made it possible to establish that Nordhal Lelandais had recently been viewing child *advertiser censored* images.

"It is likely that his unbridled sexuality is the key to Corporal Noyer's assassination and then the murder of Maëlys," a judicial source confides to the Dauphiné Liberé. The source, nevertheless, wonders about the opposite typology of the two victims.

He went on to say: "With Maëlys, he may have wanted to break a taboo, trying a new experience" which ended tragically.

"trying a new experience, which ended tragically" = child rape & murder

I know it is a language thing, but still the choice of words is remarkable.

The fractured jaw could indeed be explained by the "accident" that NL claims caused the death of Maëlys. The top and panties, not so. This is sickening.

Lelandais' victims:

"Among them, there is on one hand, Maëlys De Araujo, a 9-year-old girl, abducted and killed, [Nordahl] says "accidentally" at a wedding in Pont-de-Beauvoisin (Isère) on 27 August in the early morning hours. And on the other, Arthur Noyer, 23, a corporal of the prestigious unit of mountain troops of the 13th BCA Chambéry (Savoie), kidnapped and killed after a party in a disco bar April 12, 2017; he had been hitchhiking when Lelandais picked him up.

Two victims, complete opposites with no connection between them, except that they both had once crossed this former dog handler's path, [Nordahl Lelandais] who could be implicated in many other cases being checked and evaluated by the investigators of the gendarmerie's cell Ariane.

Nordahl Lelandais, already known for having a "sometimes violent sexuality" according to some of his female friends, also consulted gay dating sites, unbeknownst to his relatives. The investigators have discovered some ads where he staged himself with partners. Three of Lelandais' alleged victims are homosexuals. "

Three of Lelandais' alleged victims are homosexuals.

This is a strange way of putting things since there are no obvious links at the moment between the cases of the missing persons and Nordahl Lelandais. The process of verification should establish if there are links. So far, connections have been excluded.

IMHO wouldn't it be odd if homosexuality had something to do with this that only 3 persons on the list are homosexuals?

Confusing. The motive or motives remain unclear for now, obviously.

RESIDENT OF NANCY DISAPPEARED: THE LELANDAIS TRAIL

Vosges Matin.fr
https://www.vosgesmatin.fr/faits-di...u-explique-le-compagnon-d-un-nanceien-disparu

Eric Foray, a resident of Ludres who moved to the Drôme in 2016 with Régis Pique, his companion from Nantes, has vanished. The path of the alleged killer of Maëlys will be explored in the context of this unsolved disappearance.

Régis Pique, you and Eric Foray lived in Nancy?

"He was living in Ludres and I in Nancy. But we had never lived together before moving to the Drôme in 2016, in Chatuzange-le-Goubet, near Valence. We met in Nancy. When I met Eric, he was already divorced. His wife was aware of his homosexuality but not his family, to whom I was presented (at the time) as a roommate."

You had several professional lives before moving to the Drôme...

"I was a model at Dior and then Saint Laurent for 18 years. From 2000 to 2010, I owned a fashion store on rue Saint-Dizier in Nancy - Harmonie Couture - then a spa - Mains de soie - at Place de la Carrière. Eric was a wine salesman before he lost his job. We really lived together for only seven months, in our house in Chatuzange-le-Goubet, between March and September 16, 2016, the day he disappeared."

What happened on September 16, 2016?

"Eric went shopping at Super U around noon, a few miles from the house. He took my car, a gold-colored Suzuki SUV. But he never came home. It's like he vanished into thin air. We see him on video surveillance tapes, he goes to the village bakery, goes back up in the 4WD and disappears. Since then, there have been no transactions on his credit card, or vital card. His mobile phone pinged in the party neighborhood of Romans-sur-Isère in the night after his disappearance, around 2 a. m. But just like the vehicle, his phone wasn't found."

Did you report her missing to the authorities?

"Yes, I went to the nearest gendarmerie in Bourg-de-Péage. No results so far. The day after he disappeared, I received help from a friend who flew over the area with a drone and another person with a small private company plane. In vain. Last March, the gendarmes came home to collect Eric's DNA because a body had been found but it wasn't him."

Was your relationship in a good place?

"Yes, we loved each other. We were a very tight couple and he had no reason to want to disappear. We were happy. He totally accepted his homosexuality. We never went out together or each of us on our own to parties or discos, either in Chambéry or elsewhere. No, Eric wasn't depressed. We had a lot of plans, including opening a business in Romans-sur-Isère. The sales agreement had been signed and he had invested a lot, including financially, in the purchase of our house. Every two months, Eric travelled back to the suburbs of Nancy, where he was very close to his parents. That's where he saw his two children again. His train ticket was booked on October 7,2016 to travel to Nancy..."

You have just filed a complaint against X in the hope that the Lelandais trail will be explored. Did either of you know directly or not the alleged killer of Maëlys and Corporal Noyer?

"No, Lelandais was a stranger to us, we never heard of him. In our social network, nobody knew him. On Monday, with the help of Me Boulloud (reporter's note: also the council of the Noyer family), I have just filed a complaint against X, with the constitution of a civil plaintiff with the dean of the investigating magistrates of Valence for sequestration. In the hope of relaunching the search. And to explore the Lelandais trail who lived 100 km away. At least two things have to be verified: Eric had been a wine salesman and Lelandeis worked as a beverage delivery man. I do not want to talk about the second element yet. I can't bring myself to deal with his death. For over a year now, I've been living with questions every day."

:grouphug:

Romans-sur-Isère is near Chatuzange-le-Goubet, 5.7 kms or 11 minutes by car. He could have walked home, if necessary. Maybe he went to take a look at (a location for) their new business?
The gold-coloured Suzuki SUV has not been found. What if that car was the main target and Éric Foray became a victim of carjacking? The Suzuki may be in Africa for all we know.

Links mention the hearing took place on February 5.

"Éric Foray, Régis Piquet's partner, disappeared September 16, 2016 in Chatuzange-le-Goubet (Drôme). That day, the restaurant server had some shopping to do; he also had an important professional appointment for his work in the afternoon, as he had hinted, without specifying the purpose. Today, as BFMTV reveals, his companion has lodged a complaint against X and filed a civil suit to have the court reopen the investigation. He wants the investigators to carry out checks on Nordahl Lelandais.

Régis Piquet has launched several calls for witnesses in the region in recent months. The gendarmerie of Bourg-de-Peage (Drome), had done the same [...]

It turns out that Nordahl Lelandais was a driver-deliverer for a (food and beverage) delivery company for restaurants and communities located in Challes-les-Eaux (Savoie) about a hundred kilometers away from Chatuzange, a job that he quickly left after several disagreements with the employer. This is also where he says he suffered a hernia that prevented him from continuing his work."

Here are several complete articles from L'Est Républicain on Éric Foray, as well as another article that explains the appointment he had at 4 p.m. that day. Apparently, he never made it:

https://m.facebook.com/retrouver.er...05725266/?type=3&source=48&ref=content_filter

ETA: this is the only way I could post the subscription-only articles about Éric Foray's parents, and the missed appointment about a security deposit that was to be returned to him that afternooon. It sounds like he was going to open his own food business, an épicerie. The location was not suitable after all, so Éric was going to return the keys and get his security deposit back at 4 p.m. He (and his vehicle) vanished in the hours right before that.

I can see it but I cannot read it ...... :gaah:

So there is money involved. Cash?

From what I understand, Éric had made a deposit for several thousands of euros on a location that turned out not to be suitable. At 4 p.m. he was due to return the keys and get his deposit back. He never showed up, so the deposit check was placé sous séquestre (frozen?).

This is the FB page that was created for Éric Foray's disappearance.

Hi Renarde, thank you for posting all this! I can see the report, but when I enlarge it, the text becomes a blur. Still no luck there!

Éric Foray goes shopping in the village around noon.
He has an appointment in the town nearby (10 minute drive) at 4 pm. He will return some keys-to-a-store where he had planned an épicierie and he will get his deposit back (a cheque). The cheque is not missing, but the keys are?

IMHO unless he had an other engagement, he would have returned home with what he bought in the supermarket. In that case, whatever happened to him, happened shortly after he left the parking lot.

For now, I'm having difficulty to see an obvious role for Nordahl Lelandais. The wine business wasn't operational and there was no place he could deliver to. Plus this wasn't his regular region.
If he was in the area and if he was involved, he would have managed once again to make a car disappear and recover his own car within a reasonable distance.
(something similar would have happened if NL was involved in the disappearance of Coralie Moussu in 2009
https://www.websleuths.com/forums/s...eauvoisin-27-Aug-2017&p=13949233#post13949233 )

If NL had contacted Éric Foray on an internet forum, wouldn't this have been discovered by now?

Me still thinks carjacking.
