Area sealed off, looks as if they got away, happened at 8.20 am French time........just pulled up and shot two police officers at the side of the road.

Where did you see stated that this is the same group? I haven't found this yet.

They caught the guy for this morning's shootings just before.

On French TV now. The two brothers are still on the loose, the third suspected terrorist handed himself into the police last night 11.00pm French time. Army being sent into Paris.

Ah OK - I thought you were talking about the Malakof shootings of this morning as being the same group as yesterday's Charlie Hebdo attack - I see no mention of this yet.

Ok Colin de France! I hear it on news now, they say this man was dressed exactly the same way as the killers yesterday!

Oh good god, not only are they still free, but they're not holed up, they're active! This is a nightmare .. Please stay safe Parisians until this nightmare is dealt with.

They were trained in Syria. Two Jihadis who were allowed to return to the country, unfortunately.

There are terrorist training camps all over Middle East, in Syria, Iraq, Yemen etc

Before 9/11 Bill Clinton refused to bomb Alqaeda training camps in Afghanistan, ignored many warnings, fearing 'civilian casualties'.

That kind of inaction has and will cost us dearly.

Article saying there were two shooters with assault weapons. Police were responding to a car crash. Female police officer hit badly.

Our news just said shooting in South of Paris not linked.

Is that good or bad? There are still crazed gunmen running amock in Paris today.

'More unrest in France this morning, as the country enters a day of
official mourning.

An explosion has been reported in a restaurant near a mosque in
Villefranche-sur-Saone, eastern France. There are no reports of any injuries and the cause of the blast remains unknown.

The blast reportedly occurred around 6 am local time, according to the local newspaper Le Progress. It was not caused by a gas leak. The window of a nearby fast food restaurant was shattered by the explosion.

Police have cordoned off the area, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene.'

I was thinking about a woman who was forced to let terrorists in. She said terrorists told her, they would kill her child if she refused.
So she saved her child's life while got many colleagues killed.

Desperate situatuon, will haunt her for rest of her life.

The police woman shot this morning is dead, the second person with her who was not injured is in fact a Council worker....the killer was dressed in black with bullet proof vest as of yesterday.

Not sure if shootings are related at all - press in France saying too soon to tell

I am thinking it may not be directly linked, but other misguided young French men are being 'inspired' by the Charlie Hebdo shootings....?

Seeing as how they were dressed in black and wearing bullet proof vests....seems like a connection right there? At the very least it is a copy cat or a lone wolf with same Jihadist mentality. jmo

I'm sure they are connected in "cause", or copy cat, but I wonder whether they are truly actual associates of yesterday's killers. We'll soon find out!

11am newsflash France 24 news they are saying "no link".
