I didn't follow the case but link to Wiki indicates the federal sentencing dates as Aug 8, 2022.Well - I am not finding any current articles on this.

The sentencing hearing for the Ahmaud Arbery’s killers has been postponed until August 8.
According to the Associated Press, U.S. District Court Judge Lisa Godbey Wood signed off on the delay of the hearing after prosecutors cited a scheduling conflict.

Just saw this. This murderer hunted down Mr. Arbery. Terrorized and killed him because he ran in his neighborhood. I am so sorry that he is afraid of others in prison. He deserves to be in state prison. Odd how he is looking for a way out of the kind of fear and terror that so willingly visited upon Mr. Arbery. I hope he goes to state prison for the rest of his life. I don't ever wish physical harm to anyone but IMHO this man can live with fear. He has never apologized or taken responsibility.

Attorneys for Greg McMichael also appealed the conviction on targeting Arbery because he was black, citing his career as law enforcement agent, spanning several decades, where McMichael's attorney said, there was no evidence of racist behavior.

While Greg McMichael deserves “a substantial period of incarceration,” his defense attorney said in a legal filing, he should be spared a life sentence — though he has already been sentenced to life without parole on a separate murder conviction. McMichael also wants the judge to transfer him to a federal prison so that he avoids serving time for Arbery's murder in Georgia's state prison system, which can't ensure his safety from attacks by other inmates, the lawyer said. "This case concerns themes of vigilante justice," Copeland noted, acknowledging the "irony" of her concerns that vigilante justice will be meted out to her client behind bars.

I guess these three will have lots of time to think about what they did! I love that Travis in particular, since he was the shooter, will never ever ever see the light of day.

Travis McMichael, who fatally shot Ahmaud Arbery and is serving life in prison for murder, on Monday was again sentenced to life in prison plus 10 years on federal hate crime charges.
His father, Gregory, and their neighbor William "Roddie" Bryan, who were also convicted of murder, were set to be sentenced Monday afternoon.
