Oh no..... a car thief isn't going to want the burden of taking a toddler. IMO
I'm wondering if the parents or one of them was targeted and this is truly a kidnapping versus a car theft with a child unknowingly in the vehicle. The parent's names are listed herein. I won't sleuth them and post beyond that as they are victims here. BREAKING: Stolen SUV found; Clarkston boy at center of Amber Alert still missing Praying for this sweet young boy's safe return to his loved ones.

In the news video at link, the reporter points to where the vehicle was parked - next to the Parc 1000 sign just next to pull in off Montreal. Looking at the Google view I see two apartments that face the street and stairs. So was that where they were unloading the car?
Blaise Barnett: Stolen SUV found, but 1-year-old still missing in Amber Alert

Google view from April 2021, so recent. There is a Explorer parked there, is it the same vehicle?

According to his mother, the family parked in front of their home on Montreal Road. She proceeded inside while Blaise's dad took their nephew and a couple items out of the car and into the house.

"He was just making a quick trip because the house was right there and we were still able to see the car. Maybe in the 30 seconds he was in there, he tried to come back to get Blaise and then Blaise wasn't out here and the car wasn't either," she explained.

The family says they suspect a teenager may be the alleged kidnapper after Blaise's father spotted a boy he believed to be around 15 or 16-years-old walking down the street at the time of the incident.

Blaise's mother says the teen was wearing black pants and black shoes and had a black jacket with a yellow and green square pattern on.

"We don't want to press charges," she pleaded to the camera, addressing the unknown assailant. "We just want you to bring our baby back. If you have him still in the car, keep him warm. Just bring him back. I just want him back in my arms."

Why wasn't any of that released in the Amber Alert?

The first we had a hint of them knowing a potential suspect was hours later when the aunt mentioned a "young man."

Aren't Amber Alerts supposed to mention all this? The main focus is the child... everything else is "may be traveling in "may be with someone who is wearing this."

As much info as possible while leaving open that it's only a possibility...

The alert was issued 4 hours after the reported theft/kidnapping... should have been in there.

Ugghh not another sweet little toddler missing. My mind is going exactly where many of your minds are going. Not good! Vague description of what this baby was wearing. So the baby's father saw someone walking around at that time of night and left a baby in the car with groceries and doors unlocked. Hmm that's one trusting Dad. JMO
