Per Brian W's partners FB page:

AMW is coming to Carrollton on May 26th to do some filming.
He says he will update with the date the amw episode will be on.

Another note about Brian's car:
It looked the same when they found it in Dec as it was in Sept.
The passenger side window was still taped, due to a prior incident in Atlanta.
A plastic tub full of coins still there. He always kept this in the car.
A book Brian was reading still there.
A Taco Bell receipt still in the car. He has stopped at TB on way from Atlanta to Carrollton.
So, the car did not go into the water.
IMO

I don't think that happened as the family has stated that when he was last seen awake at 2 a.m., he would only have gone to one of a handful of possible destinations in downtown Carrollton which was no more than a 5 min drive.

I never recall any discussion of any rivers between his house and those few stores/eateries that he might have gone to. So unless there is a river running through Carrollton, it is doubtful he could stumble into the water.

Yes, but I still think that if he were having a medical emergency, perhaps trying to drive himself to the hospital, he might have wound up on a wrong road by accident, either from being disoriented or from being unfamiliar with the route.

I think Brian's neighbor saw him around 2am to 2;30am in his parents garage.
When the neighbor left for work around 8;30am, Brian's car was not in the garage.

Car discovered in Chattanooga, TN early Dec., with false license plates.
The car had been sitting in that neighborhood about a month.
The license plates were taken off a car in early Oct.
So, whoever had the car waited about a month before leaving it in Chattanooga.

I do not know about rivers in Carrollton, GA. But there was a very severe rain storm when Brian drove from Atlanta to Carrollton. It caused a long delay in arriving in Carrollton.

Yes, there was heavy flooding all through the region due to record rainfall. There are some posts upthread about it.

Oh well, it was worth a shot.
I hope they do find the identity of this poor soul and are able to bring him home to his loved ones.
God bless his soul.

watcher9: Hope you stay with this thread. We need all the ideas and
thoughts that we can get.

I checked amw.com. No set shows for next two weekends.
I am not sure when the Brian Wehrle case will air.

Thank you.
I have been following this case since the beginning.
I'm still new at this so I mostly just read and agree with a lot of what is being said by clicking the "thanks" button. I do venture in a little bit though.
I will also continue to check the news for any info and pass along any I see.

hard to keep the masses interested in this case. I guess if there is no child or young wealthy white woman missing, it just does not generate that much excitement.

by the way watcher, are you from GA? any insight you might have?

Has anyone seen this new piece today? A body of a man was found in a car in Wal Mart parking lot...been dead a couple of weeks. ID expected to be released tomorrow but they say it may be a man from Carroll County. Is it Brian?

http://www.ajc.com/news/id-of-body-found-532641.html

could be Brian but then where has he been all this time as this guy was dead about 2 weeks according to the news article?

I know, I thought of that too. But the area is right on. I guess I will keep my eyes open tomorrow for an ID. If it is him I wonder if we will ever know what he has been doing since September.

http://www.ajc.com/news/police-body-found-in-532185.html?imw=Y

A body discovered Thursday night in the parking lot of a Douglasville Walmart may have been there for weeks, police told WSB TV.

Well if this is not Brian, I wonder who it is. Missing from Carroll County.

Hopefully we will have the answer tomorrow.

It appears to be a short distance between
the areas, maybe a 30 min. drive?

I've lived in GA a long time - SE near Savannah and NW.

I really don't know what to think.
At first I figured an accident, going off into some water.
Then, after the car was found in Chattanooga, I figured he must have driven up there.
From there, I've gone to the carjacking and that his body was thrown out somewhere between Carrollton and Chattanooga.
Maybe he ended up going towards Alabama and something happened over there and the car was driven up I-59 to Chattanooga.
I don't believe he just ran away to parts unknown.

Per Brian's partner's FB page, America's Most Wanted is NOT coming to Carrollton to do a story about Brian.
But, Georgia's Most Wanted IS coming. They will be in Carrollton, GA tomorrow.
His partner posts that he will be in Carrollton while they film.
He says he will let everyone know what tv channel it will be on.

On Brian Wehrle's FB page,
the same info is posted and
she states that she will check with her aunt about the dna evidence.
Her aunt is Brian's sister.

Per FB page of Brian's partner,
the Georgia's Most Wanted program about Brian was postponed.
It might air tonight.
It will be on Fox5. I am assuming that station is out of Atlanta, GA.

to anyone's knowledge has anyone posted here (directly not through intermediaries) who claims to have actually known Brian?

there are things at FB and other places on the web but I was wondering what anyone had to say about that bit I found from a friend of the family who said she thought he took off on his own at first. She said something about diva mode or diva mood or something like that.

As far as I know, no immediate family member has posted here.
But Brian has 8 or 9 siblings, nieces, nephews and many friends.

I did mention joining WS back in the beginning, but nothing ever came of it, that I know of.

Diva mood. I remember reading that article / blog that you found, but haven't heard anything else like that.
Although, on FB, there is a pic of a car Brian had a few years ago and talk of matching sunglasses for the car for Brian and passenger.
