I wonder if Dermond ever acquired his services when in ATL....emplyment/acquisitions atty etc...both in fulton county...of all the "coincidences"...THAT ONE, I missed, mapped out huntcliff trc and condo and office location, not too far.....then according to diane's obit, they golfed at GW often, so Im sure they must've, even tho the Mcivers didnt live there but owned a lot, im sure they rubbed elbows in all the extra curricular activities
I got a feeling they knew the Dermonds.

(This bit was interesting)

What McIver's legal team disputes is McIver's ownership—or any knowledge—of the Glock 19 semiautomatic pistol that investigators with the Fulton County district attorney's office found in McIver's sock drawer during a 4½ hour search of his Atlanta condominium on April 14. They had been looking for something else.

Wonder what the something else was.... Diane's second will ???
Oh , and it's doubtful someone 'planted' the gun there. Not impossible-- just sounds like something Tex would lie about. IMO.

(Then there was this)
A neighbor testified that she searched the McIvers' condo in the aftermath of his wife's death, pulling guns from a closet and from atop an armoire in the master bedroom to store them off-site until McIver eventually assured her he would not kill himself.

Whiskey.Tango.Foxtrot.

Who lets a neighbor search your house after the death of one's spouse-- a suspicious death at that ?
Was the neighbor supposed to find and destroy the will if she located it ?
How nice of her. *sarcasm intended*

Have this image in my mind ..... a picture of a cold, vicious man who had to get his own way no matter what !!

Maybe Diane saw what he was capable of and was making plans to leave-- except in the end -- it was too late for her ? :(
:moo:

Sorry, double post.

Want to add, I hope there will be true justice for this woman. She deserved to live !

this picture of TRex makes him appear fun loving, excited about life......http://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/242102222-story

as opposed to his current look, does he seem different in his older years?

and this article.........“Mr. McIver and firearms don't mix well anymore,” McBurney said............ANYMORE he said.........like something has changed in ole TRex

and here: he's not even going to get a trial around here, all the judges know him!! http://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/251898434-story
I'm hoping they bring in a visiting Judge or move trial to another county. I'm betting he does know all the Judges quite well. I would love to hear what S.Sills has to say about the new charges on Tex.

Does anyone know if the McIvers went to Church in Oconee?

Oh that's right, about the loan......but yeah...I think it's the psychological aspects of someone that draws me in to these cases but i live in putnam part time...all these recent deaths is puzzling.....anyway, found this obit, maybe posted already, but contrary to our suspicions according to this: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/atlanta/obituary.aspx?page=lifestory&pid=182264460
I live in Henry Co. a hour or so North of Oconee. We use to visit that lake on weekends a few times a year. But, I have not been interested since the Dermond murders. It just creeps me out for some reason to think of that lake now. I'm afraid a head is in there! I will never understand why those murders have not been solved already. We never hear any information in this county about it.

sounds like she wouldnt have suspected him of anything but WHO?WHERE? did the idea of an alleged second will come from and why would she have one? Thinking Corey like you said....One thing we do know, is TRex is sneaky...likes to hide things, guns, witnesses, maybe documents?? but .yeah he'd probalby have blamed the shooting on a carjacking of black lives matter....He's some gunrights atty or something, he should know too! .WHY did he think dani jo would go along with that? He's quite delusional so far, thinking others would lie and that he wasn't going to look guilty shooting someone in the back, playing dumb, i swear he's delusional, why?....WHAT is THAT??....Also...I read elsewhere that this road is not so bad, but i have no clue.....makes him look worse if it isn't so bad....
I think he is looking like one shady & dangerous lawyer!

I get a creepy feeling that so many of these people are connected and the crimes we've been talking about are related. What has been going on in this area? JMHO

hey roguelady! It is SO WEIRD....IDK WHAT is going on, it's like Frank Peretti's book This Present Darkness.....war on earth between good and evil...............that's the eery feeling I get thinking about all this.....Something MUST be going on there...........I dont feel that sweet home on the lake ambiance anymore, I used to get a warm fuzzy but dont like alot of things about ole Putnam any more, nor ESPECIALLY these mysterious deaths..............something is wreaking havoc in Putnam

Hey, just some thoughts............and questions...............first.........if LE wanted to search something else of ole Tex's home car office whatever, do they serve him in jail or the location, since he's not there adn in jail, just wondered....guessing they serve him in jail?

second.....has the putnam county ranch been searched for anything or for the second rumoured will, i can't remember or if i heard, i know that SS took custody of all his guns upon an atty's request.

third...........earlier thoughts about his selling all his wife's possessions........besides the obvious..money.......what other reasons???.....do we think maybe it was a way to search for the will since she had so many things, it was bound to be discovered during the estate sale if it existed or was in her possession and not a bank safe

Still dont know where that second will rumour started or why it was questioned at all, must've been told by someone she knew
------------
The question of who owns the Glock 19-9 MM semi-automatic handgun has been burning since investigators """"searching for financial records found it in McIver’s sock drawer on April 14.""""

this gun was purchased by Tex's brother, prosecutors are tyring to link the found gun in condo to Billey Corey/Enterprises........they did purchase a gun for COrey bday and he had it at the hearing in his lap

2 different guns

also defense says there is no other will......asked corey if he planted the gun in tex's condo as his coworker had regular access to condo and was there just prior to search for financial records by investigators

Apparently, investigators have suspicion and are trying to prove motive.......

whatever is going on after the fact..........he shot his wife in the back............

Don't know if Putnam property was search, but I do remember TM gave Sheriff Sills many weapons from the ranch or he could have instructed SS to go and retrieve them. So if LE did not go search, SS may have participated in a search with or without TM being present. The District Attorney's Office did not want TM to go to Putnam nor have any contact with the Sheriff during the weekend before the bond hearing resumed. Not sure if that stipulation was continued when bond was revoked.

Hmm, interesting....why is it that the DA did not want TM in contact with SS of all people....before bond hearing??

Not sure, I do believe SS had to testify in the bond hearing, maybe about the guns at Putnam Ranch, I can't remember and can't find that part of the bond hearing to check. Red Flags all around this case!

this was interesting............TEX's atty says basically that evidence and discepancies in stories in regards to Diane's death by shooting is irrelevant.....the only thing he says that matters is that Tex Mciver says it's an accidnet....HAA.......WHO but WHO just takes someone's WORD for a murder, good grief

btw....the descrepancy is that Tex said the car hit a bump and the gun went off...........Dani Jo Carter/driver...says they were sitting at a stop light and she thought they'd been hit.................

Tex claims he fell back asleep as he'd been awakened when they exited i85

HOW does TEX go back to sleep while dani jo is frantically driving her friend of 40 years to the hospital?? This AFTER, Diane tells Dani Jo she'd ben shot by her husband.......as the reporter tells it from the interview of Dani Jo

how did she know she'd been shot by her husband? She and Dani Jo were busy talking up front and dani jo didnt see anything that went on in the backseat........

Wonder what her exact words were........?

well now...wonder what month this loan was due in 2014..............then his wife dies in 2016 and loan is due in 2017 after extension

http://www.ajc.com/news/breaking-news/mciver-borrowed-350-000-from-wife/4Pw2UlQyT7gwLSyKnE4KUI/

McIver borrowed the money in 2012 from a business owned by his wife, (not billy corey??) Diane McIver, called Clay Management Co., according to court documents. He was supposed to pay back the loan with interest by 2014, but when that didn’t happen he received an extension to 2017.

wow this article also quotes tex about what the money was used for in 2012-14

McIver had discussed the loan during an exclusive interview recently with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, saying the money went to build a barn with guest quarters on the couple’s farm in Putnam County.

looks like that was already built............like 13 years ago.........
was there any other construction going on there? according to the permits there was not
