This is the 3rd case involving a Jane Doe in a suitcase in GA. There's one in Gwinnet County, one in Butts County, and one in the town of Millen.
Serial killer?

Are there any information links to the others? I’d love to read more about them.

My guess is it will also be a female possibly white asian or Latino. That seems to be the similarity between the first 2. Although the one in Millen was from 1988. So that seems so long ago to not have any in between then and the next one in Gwinnett in July 2016. That is why I’m looking for any similar cases between 89-2015 anywhere close to GA. IF anyone has any ideas or possibles I would love to know.

These are not close to GA, but there are a bunch of cases in NaMus:

Most of these seem to be in big cities. The suitcase could just be because the murderer had to get the body out of a public place with cameras. I'm thinking these cases in Georgia were likely trafficked and possibly died in a hotel. JMO. A SK is possible too but I think there would have to be more things in common (like same cause of death, etc.) to tie them all together. JMO.

I KNOW that I've seen a MP case someplace with the words "Love Pink" on a piece of clothing...this will drive me crazy til I find it!
[/QUOTE]1) She was found in a Quest suitcase.
2) LARGE black Miley Cyrus sweatshirt (on body)
3)SMALL LOVE PINK black sweatpants (on body)
4) Size 7 Women's Nike Air Max Cage pink
5) mismatched white socks
DATES OF PRODUCTION
*Nike began to manufacture the Nike Air Max Cage in 2013
*Quest suitcase is manufactured by Dejuno out of California. I emailed the company to ask what year their Quest line of luggage was first manufactured. *I will update with date as soon as I hear back from them.*
*PINK Sweatpants by Victoria Secret began production in 2006. As far as I can discern, the photo of the pants on NamUs looks like Love Pink yoga sweats boyfriend pants. I cannot determine a production date.
*Miley Cyrus did not tour in the US in 2013 but was on the Bangerz Tour in 2014 starting Feb 2014 and her tour covered most parts of the United States. Cyrus also toured in 2015 with there Milky Milky Milk Tour from Nov to Dec 2015 mostly on the East & West coasts. This would possibly be helpful if the black sweatshirt was purchased at one of Cyrus' concerts.
It seems as if 2014 would be the earliest time the shoes and the sweatshirt could be purchased. So the young woman in the suitcase was still alive in 2014 at the very least.
Not sure if she's been mentioned before, but
Keila Abigail Yanez-Melendez
Missing since March 30th, 2016 from Maryland, thought to have possibly left the state.

Is there anybody who has access to the rule outs in Namus?
