At first, I think many of us thought the men were probably killed as soon as they went missing, and identification was taking a long time due to decomposition. Now it seems that maybe they were alive for those first 12-13 days and it was the fire that made ID difficult. Horrific. Their poor loved ones.

The obit for Jason lists his death date as 3/11/23. Would this indicate that LE/ME determined he died the same day the bodies were found? Or am I reading too much into it?

I'm not sure how this went wrong? Jason & Kenny's bodies were found near the bank of a river on the property of Bouckaert Farms - March 11th, 2023. Their respective vehicles were found after they went missing in two different locations. It is assumed whoever they were meeting with, picked them both up. Each of their cell phones were in their cars, discovered after they were reported missing.

I've never seen any MSM news that has reported they were found in a burning car?

FWIW, they are the only media outlet releasing the COD. The GBI remains silent on this case and has only issued a single press release (linked above). Wondering why the Fulton County ME decided to give that information out and if the GBI approved?

It is typical for the death date to be shown as the date the remains of a missing person is found. Probably because there is no way to determine the exact date of death.

I think one poster mistakenly pulled an article about an unrelated incident involving a vehicle fire. Personally, the surprising part of the newest info to me was that the remains were discovered when firefighters responded to and put out a fire. That seems to indicate they were either killed or moved on 3/11 - I'd always assumed it happened much earlier.

I really think that people are afraid to come forward or make much noise in this case. Just a hunch. It makes me very sad, because these two men need justice.

I truly feel the guy that was once posted in this group had something to do with it. He was arrested for fleeing I believe. And for 2 *advertiser censored*-cides. But the media never disclosed who were the 2 victims.

I found that JS obituary online states that he passed 1 day before his birthday. So tragic and nothing, no clues. But I honestly think that man that fled and was arrested for double homicide is who did it.

The reporter wasn't vague, he stated the bodies were found over the weekend. It is suprising, given LE set up at a local gas station while processing the scene. This article says the GBI Lab can have DNA results in 2-3 days. So not sure why identification is taking so long...

There's a FB post on Rockstar Printing on Post 217 dated April 27 2023 where someone called SM commented that she thought the business was closed which I found a bit odd considering she was JS's cousin. The new owner Trayvon (says he was owner with Jason, when I thought Jason and Kenny were the owners) posts numerous ads and seems quite successful, relying on SM to get business rather than a storefront. He still must need a space to do all the types of printing he's doing, though. Google reviews give many 5 star reviews and Trayvon is mentioned in a few, in some all three are mentioned. One review is worried nothing is being done about the murders and states the the signs are off the building facade and the windows are covered up. Perhaps doing most business through SM is easier than relying on walk in trade.

I'm trying to figure when the bodies were dumped on the banks of the river. Had they been dumped there after being murdered in February and the fire was an unrelated act that uncovered the bodies or were they held somewhere for a couple of weeks and murdered the same day the fire was extinguished? And if they were held, what would that purpose be?

I wonder whether the $100K PPP loan was used for something other than the printing business and they got involved with some very bad actors. I also wondered why their vehicles were found in separate locations if they were both supposed to be going to the same meet up. You'd think that one of them would pick up the other or they'd leave their vehicles at the same location if they were being driven to another location for a meeting. Which sounds pretty hinky to me and would set off all sorts of alarms. I also wonder if they were getting involved in a criminal enterprise they used burner phones to communicate with the other parties to ensure whatever they were up to was not going to be on their day to day phones.
