Recommending to watch the documentary 'I am Jane Doe' (2017) and you will know about Backpage anything you need to know (sorry...maybe this is totally not done) I don't say anything about the quality/coloring of it...I know: looking with European eyes might be different than with American eyes.
Slightly O/T I nearly watched this documentary on Netflix the other night, is it worth watching? Could it help with possible theories on this case? If so, i shall watch it very soon :)

Hi Stanly. What is O/T? About watching, you have to decide for yourself.... It's about human trafficking of under-aged girls, advertised for on backpage and allowed because of certain law's. Indeed back to the case....getting more and more concerned about where this is going with Jenna.

Yesterday's revelation from Subie of finding her ID and credit cards in car (when we knew clothes were there before etc.) hit this case to high alert for sure. :praying: that the family can find that one person to help them coordinate and can get together help and a strong support team to help the family move forward to find Jenna (e.g. as Chase Massner case had "team Chase" folks).

They did check cameras around the area but haven't found anything useful yet.

In reaction of your post Bently

a. I think she was not with her car for days anymore, everything thrown in her car, car put on the street days/ probably weeks later. So looking for her should be expanded to other places, she might have been by Google maps timeline or statements from persons related.
b. Knowing where her phone pinged last time might bring more info on this (considering she still had her own phone(s) in person)
c. Very relevant question about the debit card
d. I don't believe she send the text message herself at night, saying laying down..

Feeling kind of hart broken...

When I saw that her car was found where it was, I went online to look at crimes in that specific area. I don't now have results to share.. but what I found was that this area was HIGH in car theft and break ins, that was the major crime in the area and OFTEN.

So led me to think that leaving it there, someone did to have it stolen. (then again, I thought that with FCA case and her leaving her purse on seat at a place that it would be stolen also to cover up Caylee missing)

Subie, apologies in advance as I'm now starting to post as if a family member isn't here.. but knowing you are :grouphug:

O/T Jane Doe:

I almost watched it too. Think I will tonight! Thanks.

So some reasons why your cards and id would still be in your car.
1. You just nipped out for a toilet break.
2. You had packed them securely in the car (suitcase, purse, coat or pockets) and were involved in an argument that ended badly. And you then were put in another vehicle.
3. You forgot to take them.
4. You intended to leave them
5. You didn't need to take them
6. Someone car jacked you.
7. Someone stole your car while you temporarily left it unattended.
8. Cards were maxed out.

Any other reasons?

Additional questions to consider:
Did she owe money to anyone? A loan shark for instance? Were the credit cards maxed out? Was the debit card also found with the Id and credit cards?

Yeah, I also wondered how long it was there, and if the PD found it... they perhaps would stake it out and do surveillance on it to see if anyone returned to it after it was located.... purposefully didn't approach the car to see if someone would return to it iykwim. But since in two jurisdictions... doubt that was done.

#1- If you were going out of your car, as a girl, you would take your purse/ID (Sudie has not confirmed whether in purse or strewn in car or ?)
#2 - Where in car were ID/cards found? In purse on floor? In passenger seat? At floor of drivers side? AND WHERE IS PHONE? Most of us are creatures of habit when we get into the car and alone we put the car in a certain place.. with someone else in car we put purse in a different place?... so wondering where her purse was found. (If cards/ID were in purse vs. strewn)
#3 - Doubtful, you don't forget to take purse at midnight when in a strange place or going out of car imho ETA: reconsidering this... if you just want to go talk to someone in a strange place.. you may indeed purposefully leave your valuables LOCKED in the car when you got out to talk to someone nearby.
#4 - Intended to leave them... but why? Only thing I can think of is meeting someone right at car and talking to them, and perhaps getting in their car next to yours... like the Savannah Gold case.
#5 - ?? :dunno: why would you not need purse/ID... needs to be expounded upon as to reasons?.... oh dear, just had one idea... but if she was doing "escort", why would she need her luggage with clothes... (and what types of clothes were in the luggage?) I *assume* that the linen was not in the car, but haven't heard CONFIRMATION on that from Subie
#6 - Yeah, but if car jack... why leave credit cards and ID in car... or was the purse not there, and the debit card was missing! (assume PD fingerprinted/held for DNA testing that debit card if was there)
#7 - Again, if someone stole the car while unattended.. how did they start the car? She left keys in the car at one of her stops that night and was far enough away from the car without her purse/ID/credit cards?

Begs to ask.. was the debit card in the car, or just credit cards which were NOT used that day?

My biggest question is why aren't any investigative reporters in the Atlanta area picking up on this as an INVESTIGATIVE reporting :pullhair:

If they would hurry up and get the darn phone pings we might find this young lady.
As I said Before I think she is out there close.
this has taken way to long ....

I do not think she walked away....

All JMO

Sorry....but who is Caylee?

Sorry....but who is Caylee?

FCA=Felon Casey Anthony (and some folks say the "F" means something else.. but cannot say here what iykwim); Caylee = daughter Caylee Anthony. A case in Florida where mom went AWOL dancing for 30+ days after her Caylee went missing.

After her child was missing, her car was parked with a purse on the front seat at a "check cashing place" and some thought that she left it there with the purse so it would purposefully get stolen at that locale so as to confuse the investigation and point to ADDI (Another dude did it)

I've read all the threads and kept up everyday but stayed quiet trying to make sense of all of this. The cards being found in her car, she may have grabbed her cards to run to the gas station/wendys quickly. Was her purse found in the car? Was her purse found at her parents house? I do not think I heard it found at the parents house. I do not think she left voluntarily at this point. I think someone she knew harmed her. Something bad happened here. When do we expect these phone pings? I am dying to know what the police might know that they aren't sharing at this time.

Good questions.
If you go out of your car you would indeed normally take your purse with everything in it. Never leave it unattended whatever you do. It's a "on the automatic pilot" thing.

If there was any reason not to take your stuff, the best thing to do is put it in the back of your car/in trunk so nobody can see it and then close your car. If you are "escorting" you would do that. IMO. Wonder also where different things were found in the car.

She could have asked someone for directions and she was robbed...but why was all her stuff still found in her car?

No news if the tapestry was also found in the car.

I don't think Jenna left by choice. Her family was -although the relationship was maybe not at a high that moment- her lifeline and she adored the cat.

etc. etc. ...

That to me has been the most concerning is learning yesterday that she also had credit cards, in addition to the debit card we have always heard about! Why was the debit card specifically mentioned before for purchases, and not a credit card? Why would she use a debit card vs. credit for all those gas station purchases if she had a credit card? Perhaps they were just store cards?

(Unless this was a typo.... and/or not being specific as to credit card vs. debit card)

We don't know when it happened- it could have been Saturday morning.

Answers will be different if alone or accompanied in the car.

If she was intending to harm herself she wouldn't need her cards. And also, if the car was staged as a disappearance. Where were the cards, car and house keys? Was car locked? More questions than answers sorry.

Good point! Were her credit cards and her ID in the trunk also! (Debit card toooooo Subie??)

Thanks for the prompt. Yes, I have indeed done that in certain areas. Put my stuff in the trunk.

I hope Subie and family knows the answer to that.

So the car was near Dynasty Event Center as well as the Exec Studios. Does anyone know what if any events were on that Friday and Saturday ?
