I wish we could see the mother on tv, because you can pick up alot sometimes on actually seeing someone who's going through that type of situation. I wouldn't wish it on ANY mother or father!

I'm so glad my kids are grown!

On Fox it was just stated that the little girl has a bald spot on her forehead area from playing with hair remover....????? HUH? It was a burn, now hair remover??? The whole thing sounds fishy to me.....I hate to jump the gun here, but am curious to know more about the mother. I hope they find these toddlers safe!

Maybe it's a chemical burn from the hair removal stuff?

I was cooking and trying to hear what's going on, but what I heard is that the ground search is being called off?...did I hear that right? And that they are questioning the mother more. I don't know who was speaking, but the man said it was odd that the kids were just gone after the mother said she had just stepped out of the room. I'm sure someone else heard this more accurately than I did!!!!!! Back to the kitchen :)

I had just flipped back to Fox News and thought I heard that same thing..."called off" or stalled or something till they question the mother more...something to that effect.....sounds like we might have picked up on this right from the start...I just hope they're okay!

I am hoping she did not drown them :(

mother had lie detector test...don't know if she passed.... he thinks she had nothing to do with it..she's a good mother to those kids...she's at the police station now...

She was in the bathroom...yelled for kids four times...no noise...came out and the front door was open. Kids can open the door the father said.

He sounds really upset....he delivered the girl at home...his son is his "little buddy" ...he helped in the search.

He knows they didn't walk off. He stayed out in the front yard all night and looked at the trees and watched the temp...walked down to the pond area .....sounds like he's really tortured.

I wonder how big the house is.... no chance they are locked somewhere or something? An attic or a basement?

Fox just said new developments on the case coming up after commercial break.

I would sure hope that that house has been turned upside down, as well as any fridges in the basement and trunks..and outside sheds...I'd think they're pretty smart about things like that.

Lord, I feel so horrible for these kids....funny how they made the mother take a lie detector test...or is it? I don't know...I sure hope she's not the guilty party in this....I hope they've just wandered off and will be found soon..alive and well, and just hungry...Pray for those children.

no one has been eliminated yet ... according to GA Bureau of Investigation.
GBI has no comment really, so the interview is really pointless....

to give the searchers a break...this is so upsetting! It's still daylight and someone should be still searching! (I'm afraid this GBI agent is not telling us the whole reason the search was called off at this time)...they probably have a good idea of what's happened, but he did say that the mother is now home....

That's the frustrating part..they give interviews but can't comment on so much...I know they get hounded by the media, but it's so maddening to keep hearing that they can't reveal this..they can't rule out the mother.. DARN!

that they stopped the search in the afternoon to question the mother?? Oh, come on! A search doesn't have to be stopped to question anyone! There's more behind that story than what they're telling us....you can bet on that!

I totally agree, Jovin. I am afraid that LE has a strong belief that they KNOW what happened to these babies, how else could they call off the search?

No other reason to call off the search unless they know something. It is still daylight and I am sure any number of people would be volunteering. It just looks so bad. Those kids are just adorable. What happened to them?

the agent said she's home now, so I wonder what she's telling her fiance...they aren't married, but they're the parents of the kids. It sure sounds like the father doesn't suspect her, but who knows ....maybe he'll become aware of some of the things she might have told law enforcement that didn't make sense to him, or maybe contradicts what she originally told him, and he might catch her in a couple of comments that could cause some real discussions in that house right now.

I can't imagine, being a parent and knowing that it's still daylight and they're not searching! Another night is coming....I'd be out there screaming and ranting for anyone to help....this isn't sounding right...they'll have to explain to him why they've called it off...what good reason they have.

It seems like there is no way a search for these children would be called off, without pretty solid proof of what happened to them. I can't imagine this is just a "hunch" on the part of the cops.

So sad.

Does anyone know the parent's names? I saw that the kids last names were Kain. It has been several years since I lived there, but I knew almost everyone in that little town. I seem to remember another child with that last name that drowned a few years back.
