When did she start her relationship with this newest guy. I'm inferring that she had him on the side?

From what I have read, Joseph Dell started going over to the Sneiderman residence as a friend to help out shortly after RS was murdered. IIRC, it evolved from there and by the time HN went on trial, he had already separated from his pregnant wife. Apparently there were cracks in the marriage before Mrs. Dell became pregnant. Joseph Dell was a friend of Rusty's and did not know AS that well at the time of RS death.

Makes you wonder what kind of man would hook up with a woman accused of being involved in any way in her husband's murder.

All we know is that he escorted her out of court the day she was kicked out of Hemy's trial. His 6-month pregnant wife filed for divorce either the same day or the day after. Someone here will remember that detail!

Here is a link that gives a little bit of info on when they met, it also states he is the CEO of his own company as well as Andrea works for this company.

Swanna, thank you for that article. I have to admit I didn't follow during the period when this came out. I must have been watching another trial! :floorlaugh:

That corrects any mistakes I made when answering a post above. Thanks for that as well.

:truce: After reading more about this case, I have decided that I personally don't care for AS. However, if I were a betting woman, I am betting she walks on most of the charges. I am thinking the jury is not going to take this mother away from her children. I truly don't know obviously. JMO :truce:

As much as I wished you were wrong! I strongly and sadly agree.

She broke up three homes! Hers, hemi newmans and this latest lover.

You know what is really sad? One day, her children will learn the truth about their mother. It doesn't matter if she is guilty or not guilty. They will read all the comments people have made about AS based on the choices AS has made. What a pity.

I would like to know if AS is found not guilty, can she sue for libel?

Good question. MSM has been pretty careful about what they have written. However, someone she knows is writing a book about her and she is not happy.

I wondered if she was acquitted, could she sue DeKalb County for her house arrest due to murder charges?

I hadn't realized that the same judge heard the HN trial. If convicted on 1 or all charges, is this an appellate issue? TIA

I never really followed the first case either, I have done a bit of sleuthing since she has gone to trial. But I must say that Mr. James is right she is a LIAR!! :twocents: :moo:

Do you think she was sandbagged by the Prosecution in the HN trial? And the Defense? She obviously had no clue what they were gonna do, right? Or did she? I just can't tell as she is so arrogant. TIA

I know I shouldn't listen to HLN, but I need noise in the background. Right now, Ryan Smith is talking to Kirby Clemens. I respect both of them. If convicted of all charges, she could get 100 years. Kirby Clemens mentioned that Judge Adams tends to give tough sentences. He opined AS could realistically get 20 years!

I'm still thinking that she may get less time than we'd all like if she's convicted on all or some of the charges.

However, even ONE felony conviction and 6 months in prison would please me no end. Aside from her rabid friends who will hug her a lot and tell her it's not fair, she will not live the life she aspired to. Just think of having to check off "yes" on a job application when asked if she's been convicted of a felony. Imagine when she has to state what her charges were and if she spent time in prison.

How many companies will want to hire a convicted felon/liar?

Are any of her friends ready to hire her for a minimum of what her previous job paid?

Just some random thoughts here since posting either goes smoothly or with an unbearable wait time!

Hi, C'Moon! :seeya: I guess I could at least smile

a little if she only gets 6 months, but that, I hope, would be her last lick of luck. Five years would make me chuckle:floorlaugh:, 10 years would get a clap

clap or two, 15 years would get a "yah-hoo!" :cheer:and 20 would make me get up & do the Happy:dance: Dance! :skip::drumroll:

Plus, if she :liar: gets several years, she might luck out once again and get a prison job. Mopping and waxing floors, cooking, cleaning the day rooms, laundry, sanitation detail, delivering the food trays to those who cannot leave their cells, and such. That experience might be a big help in her post-prison job search! And if she is as smart as she thinks she is, she will know not to lie about that felony thing when she completes a job app or an interview. We all know how easy a prior record is to research...

Let's keep our fingers crossed for justice. :grouphug: Maybe Monday?!

IMO people lie, the main reasons are drugs, alcohol and affairs. Ever have a cop stop you for speeding and they ask do you know how fast you were going, what is your answer? No, do you really think that is worth 5 years in prison as you really know how fast you were going. No matter how you feel about all that went on before, judge this for what was shown.

i guess it's not surprising they haven't come back with a verdict yet, since they have 13 counts to go through. i think it's gonna be guilty on some, not guilty on others, but mainly guilty. i knew nothing about this case until Andrea's trial started and have only listened to the testimony, haven't watched news about it, and if i were a juror, i'd be thinking to myself "why hasn't this woman been charged as an accomplice to this murder?" obviously that last thought/question isn't to be considered by the jurors but i'm sure some are prob thinking it.

it is beyond clear that she perjured herself in the murder trial of her HUSBAND, the FATHER of her children. it's just disgusting and imo she helped orchestrate the whole thing, but she's not on trial for that so just by the testimony shown it is clear to me, imo that she is guilty of perjury. I think they may be hung up on the charges regarding impeding the police investigation...ok now back to the jodi arias sidebar thread. have a great weekend everyone, hopefully justice will be served monday.

Sorry but what Andrea did is a lot worse than just lying about speeding. There is a time and place to tell a white lie and the murder of your husband is not one of them. Andrea was asked point blank about anyone trying to break up her marriage as that would point to a person that really needed to be looked at closely. Andrea decided that her secrets were more important than having the person that killed her husband, the father of her children, arrested sooner rather than later. IMO 5 years is to short of a time for Andrea to serve in prison when she appears to have pushed Hemy into killing in order to "have her".

MOO

katie, you've just reminded me of a thought I had about AS's folks.
A lot of the arguing between AS and Rusty was supposedly because caring for the children, preparing dinner, ect, was too much for Andrea to handle in the evenings, and during some days.
Why didn't her folks step in and help? Could it be Rusty didn't want her folks around any more than they already were? I don't think there was any love lost between the three. I don't doubt that her folks are sad that Rusty was murdered, but I believe their grief has more to do with how Rusty's death and the subsequent charges have effected Andrea, than for their feelings towards Rusty, himself.
I get the impression they thought AS was too good for Rusty - maybe for anyone. I have the opposite opinion.

ps I can usually open PDF's but can't get this one. Has anyone read it?

BBM: How hard could it be to throw together a couple of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches?

Watching defense witnesses in the trail feels similar to watching a freak show of some sorts....Hoping for a guilty verdict!
