On Wednesday, November 2, 2005 two shows will be featuring Sueann's story.
Beginning @ 8 PM EST on your CNN Network with Nancy Grace
Beginning @ 10 PM EST on your FOX NEWS Network with Greta

Tomorrow Thursday, November 3rd beginning @ 7 PM EST for Atlanta area residents will see the retrace of SueAnn's steps the date of her disappearance with Geraldo. For times in your area tomorrow visit www.GeraldoAtLarge.Com

Last night on Greta Van Sustern's show, she showed a clip of a Fox News reporter interviewing Quinton Ray (he refused to be filmed, but you could see the reporter as she asked questions and you could hear his responses). He claims that he IS looking for Sue Ann (he said he has his people out searching for her, whoever "his people" are) and he has copies of letters that Sue Ann wrote in which she appears to be suicidal. Sue Ann's parents were shown copies of the letters and they say that yes, they are written in Sue Ann's handwriting, but that they are NOT recent letters. Her parents say that because of the volatility of the relationship, Sue Ann had been depressed in the past, but that the letters are completely irrelevant to her disappearance.

Quinton Ray told the reporter that there is lots of stuff about Sue Ann that hasn't come out (I guess trying to make the public think what? - She was a horrible mother, she was loose, she was into drugs, blah, blah, blah).

He said he has seen his daughter twice since Sue Ann disappeared and that DFACS (Georgia's Department of Family & Children Services) is a joke (I guess they've become involved - as well they should be).

Sounds like he has some animosity towards Children Services!

I'm sure he would like to make everyone think Sue Ann committed suicide, that would get the spotlight off of him for a while. I don't think this young woman would have ended her life, leaving her child behind, most likely to be raised by her soon-to-be ex-husband and his family!

Maybe he brought up the letters so if when they find her she's dead, then they'll think she committed suicide and not look at him or his family as suspects

Hi, They just discussed her on CC, but of course I was working so didn't pay full attention.

She's still missing, the person Catherine talked to said he thinks the police have information on her but are holding it very close to the vest.

Nothing. Laura Ingle talked to the husband the other day and was on Greta to talk about it. His parents refuse to let LE and dogs search their property
even though the dogs had a hit that led them right to that property! The husband gave Laura some copies of suicide letters that Sue Ann was supposed to have written. Laura took the letters to Sue Ann's family to verify her writting and they said it was her writing but the problems that she talks about, etc, weren't current and they don't understand why the husband is waving those letters around. They don't believe for a minute that she committed suicide.

Laura asked the husband if he had seen his daughter and he said "I've seen her twice in the last so many months." I gather he has seen her twice since Sue Ann went missing. I found that strange. Isn't he her father and wouldn't he normally have custody of her as her mother is missing? Sounds like he doesn't want to be bothered to me.

It's really sad when people aren't willing to cooperate during an investigation. I don't understand why those people...the elder Rays...won't allow their property to be searched. If people have nothing to hide why won't they cooperate? If LE wanted to search my house and property because someone was missing in my family I wouldn't have a problem with it...I would have nothing to hide....even if it had to do with the person who murdered my daughter and whom I despise I still would tell LE to go ahead. It just doesn't make sense not to cooperate unless you have something to hide. I just wonder if Sue Ann isn't buried on the in-law's property.

I hope LE can find a way to get a warrent for that property. This case is like the case of Amanda Jones. Properties need to be searched but LE isn't making any headway getting it done. Both females may never be found as a result.

Sue Ann's father raised a fantastic point on Geraldo Rivera's show last night - if she committed suicide, where is her body?? It's not exactly possible to kill yourself and then hide your own body.

From the sound of him, her estranged husband is too stupid to be able to pull this off and get away with it. Rumors are FLYING out here (I live in the area) and I highly doubt it will be long before law enforcement will be coming to call on him.

I haven't been able to see all of the programs covering this case but I've been aware of this young woman's disappearance since it first happened.

I thought that she was at work when she found out her soon-to-be ex had picked their daughter up at day care and taken her to his parents, which he'd never done before, and that SueAnne was really upset and left work early. I could be wrong.

Are there cameras covering the parking lot at Walmart? Do we know for sure? Does the husband know? That question could be why he parked so far away from the store. He probably thought there were cameras, or didn't know IF, and parked where he thought he wouldn't be seen(somone said that was basically an unused part of the lot?). Also, since one person had to drive the van, someone else needed to follow or come and get him. Which, IMO, is why the parents won't let them search their property. IMO, it's probably them that are the accomplice. HE COULDN'T HAVE DONE THE WHOLE THING BY HIMSELF! Not when there's two vehicles involved, IMO.

It's quite possible that SueAnne went to his home/shop, confronted him and they had an argument. She told him she was going to stop by Walmart and pick up her daughter at his parent's. That would account for the flurry of phone calls between the husband and his family, just around the time she was supposed to be at his place. She then stopped by Walmart (which accounts for the Walmart bags), proceeded to the parent's home, the husband was there waiting for her and killed her right there. Then he took her car to the Walmart, followed by a family member, and they thought LE would think she'd been abducted at the time she'd been shopping. :(

This is just a scenario that is possible, IMHO.

THEY NEED TO GET A WARRANT TO SEARCH THE PARENT'S HOME AND TO SEARCH THE PROPERTY WITH A CADAVAR DOG!!!!!!!

I have just read about this case today. Is there any way we can get this moved to the "Featured Case Discussion" section of this forum? I think a lot more people will read about it if it appears in that section.

Just wondering. . .
I agree. I have no idea how to do this though. Thoughts anyone???

i cant believe that nothing has surfaced yet about this case.....unless i am missing something??

I am checking periodically and there is nothing new.

One of the problems in the Atlanta area is they will report a crime possibility in the newspaper and don't do a follow up article. So, you never really know the status of ongoing crime investigation.

I just checked out her website and they added new pics of her and one of her with her daughter, so sad, makes me want to cry...That poor baby is missing her mamma tonight and someone knows what happened!!:banghead:

It is just unbelievable that this family and their extended family have two missing girls now. Sue Ann and her cousin. How often does that happen in one family? Sue Ann's dad says that he has spent a lot of time with his sister trying to help her make it through her daughter's disappearance and now his own daughter is missing. Sue Ann's husband had to know about her cousin and how her disappearance has affected the family.

I think it is the husband that has done something to Sue Ann. He had motive and she was last seen at his place. It doesn't matter where her vehicle was found. Anyone can move a car to another area to take suspicion away from themselves. LE should ride this guy day and night and get him so rattled that he will confess just to get them off of his back.

I agree....

I wonder what the statistics are concerning the "last person" to see someone before they are killed/missing. I bet in at least 90% of the cases that "last person" is involved.

Seems to me that the hit from the dogs to the property and last person she was seen with would be enough for police to get a warrant to search that property. Did I miss something? Don't understand why not, they've gotten warrants on less, a simple tip sometimes will produce a warrant.

I agree. I suppose that standards for a search warrant have changed lately. But it reads as if L.E. has dug in their heels & refused. So I can only guess that they have reason to think another person is the culprit & so think the in-laws are innocent. Or could be the in-laws know someone with pull. Or could be that it violates some local L.E. guy's pet theory.

good questions. seems to be unbelievable that they can't get a search warrant. something here stinks.

too bad they can't just storm the place at night just letting the dogs in!!!!!
