I wish LE could/would release some things. I'd like to see the video where she says to him "did you say too much?", and the video of him going out to his car for example.

That quote from LH really had me reeling. Pure speculation, but to me that sounds like someone who not only knew what was going on but was in control. We know a lot about the searches that were done online, but what we don't know yet is who did them. I think there is still a lot to come on that. I would be really curious to know who came up with the idea of the hot car scenario. RH was flipping out and LH was cool as a cucumber. I sure don't think she did herself any favors by her 1st reaction at the daycare, but that quote sounded like her keeping RH in line. She kept herself distanced and did not even want to see her baby. JMO but I think she spent her last 2 nights with Cooper in bed to say goodbye. So many things sound planned or rehearsed.

This is off topic as far as evidence goes, but my 21 month old started soccer today! He's so cute with his soccer shirt on running around kicking the soccer ball. I'm so excited and proud of what a beautiful child he is growing into. Then, Cooper Harris comes into my mind and I have to hold back tears, he'll never get to play soccer :'( He'll never get to do so many amazing things and also experience heart break and being the brunt of a school rumor, fall in love, experience the air sucking grief of first heart break, find out he's really, really good at something, make mistakes and find out he's really bad at something, travel the world, get stuck in an airport overnight with nowhere to sleep, drive fast with the windows down, get into his first fender bender because he was driving too fast and not paying attention, spend his spring break partying in Florida, have his first hangover and swear he'll never drink again, hold his first baby in arms, think he's going to die of sleep deprivation those first two months after he brings that baby home! I know his mother made a list of all the unpleasant things he'd never have to experience, but isn't that what makes all the wonderful experiences so wonderful? I don't understand why anyone would not want their child to have a full life complete with heartbreak, but also great accomplishments! I want my son to experience life to its fullest and the entire range of emotions that make us human! I pray he has a long and full life! I pray Cooper is resting in peace and has justice soon!

Here is a link to a story I posted this week-end...this happened close to Memphis, TN.(Cordova,TN.) Interesting to note they now have one of the higher profile attorneys in the area.....Leslie Ballin....who was one of Mary Winkler's attorney....this attorney also represents the woman out of Memphis who left her baby home with a 3 year old while she took another child to school...just thought I would post this .....this child lived, thank God...but I believe it has been given to the custody of a grandmother.

Im sorry do you have a link for this? Because I don't believe that to be true. He was not that big of a child. Just because he was taller than the seat allowed did not mean his head was above the shell, It most likely means his legs were longer. Torso height is what matters.

Just one of the articles that mentions this:

During a probable cause hearing Thursday, Cobb County Police Det. Phil Stoddard testified Cooper was “several inches” too big for the rear-facing child seat in which he perished June 18 after being locked inside his father’s Hyundai Tucson for more than seven hours

I just STILL cannot wrap my head around this. I mean, if you wanted to 'accidentally' kill your toddler- why this?

Why not take them to the beach, or near a busy road, leave their bedroom window open or leave a bottle of pills in their reach. Why intentionally choose the most drawn-out, horrible means of death I can think of?

WHY??????

That poor child......

I have never ever seen a soccer group for kids under 2. Ever. Here they don't start until 3. I can not imagine that it is real soccer, because even 3 yr olds have a tough time with that!! Hope he has fun.

new search warrants are for medical records for father and CH

Could you direct me to the warrants, discussion of the warrants, or articles about them or whatever people are reading? Thanks

As horrible as this is, I was thinking the same thing. This was the most horrific thing to do to a baby to try and make it look like an accident. After watching the videos of the vet that did that video thing about the dangers would be enough for any parent to make necessary steps to make sure it did not happen to their child.

You'll have to go watch the hearing. The prosecution said his head was above the shell. My son is small, my husband and I are only 5'6", but his head would be a couple of inches above his Safety 1st Onboard Air 35 infant seat at this time. We had to switch him to a larger seat around 15 months of age. Once again, he's a little guy, but the rearfacing only infant car seats are not meant to be used by two year olds!

Sitting there in court chomping on her gum, LE looks like a sullen student forced to sit through an assembly (lyceum, in the old days).

Lol! It's pretty funny! They actually can start at 18 months! He's having a blast, but hasn't figured out how to kick the ball where and when he's supposed to! Its just a gaggle of children running around kicking soccer balls! It's called Little Rascalz Soccer School! It's adorable!

I'm guessing that by "take them to the beach" you mean for the child to "accidentally" drown? Well there is a problem with that. The parent would have to watch the child go into the water and try to make sure that some thoughtful person did not save the child before the child died. Same goes with the busy road. Not sure what leaving their bedroom window open would do unless the parent knows that there is a child predator in the neighborhood and puts a red flashing neon sign outside that says "Unattended child with open window here!!!". Most 22 month old children can not swallow a pill much less a bottle of pills and even then there is no guarantee that the child is going to die from poisoning before the parent has to witness it.

For this couple (and yes I blame BOTH of them), it appears that wanted to have no "hands on" part of their child's death. Strap him into the car seat and leave him alone until he is dead. Then deal with the aftermath of the "accident". IMO both need to be "fixed" as neither should be allowed the option of having anymore children.

MOO

No he said that his head was visible. That is not the same thing. Even if his head was under the rim it would still have been visible in that seat as tall as JRH is.

The infant seats are made to be used until they are out grown the age does not matter. I know more than a few almost 3 yr olds that would still fit safely in an infant seat.

I thought I saw something about him being involved with a worker from the daycare...did I imagine that? If not, can someone fill me in?

The day care worker thing was speculation. Nothing has been released so far to say if that is true or not.

People are crazy! Thankfully, the child is going to be okay (physically), in spite of her mother! Friend of mine was there at the time and said the mother was taking hell from people in the parking lot.....the mother told the crowd and police "she parked under a tree".

What the :censored: is wrong with people?! HOW can anybody think it's ok to leave a child or a pet in a hot car? Even if they don't have the common sense to understand, I'm sure at some point they've heard about hot car deaths in the news! IMO, they just don't care, and that is so wrong. Glad this (moo) was arrested, hope she's prosecuted and convicted.

O/T: It's been hot here in SC, 90+ degree days. The other day I had to stop and get gas. My dog was in the car with me (we were returning from a friend's house). Of course, you have to turn the engine of when pumping gas. As soon as the a/c is off, it gets hot in the car quickly! Although the pump at this gas station appeared to be a new model, it was extremely slow, literally click, click, click. It was only a few seconds or so, but I freaked out because my pup was in the car with no a/c, and there was no way I could fill up my tank with that slow pump and him in the car! I stopped pumping around $8, got in the car and took my dog home...THEN I went back out later, alone, at my normal gas station and filled up my tank. Just a FEW SECONDS of my furbaby in that heat freaked me out. How people can do this to a child, I just can't...

WTH? Where they trying to kill the baby? It says they knowingly left the baby in the car, in the sun, not running, with the windows up?! How could anyone not know how dangerous that is?

There is a picture at this link of the vehicle from the rear, I zoomed in and if I am nor mistaken I can see the car seat. With that said I have wondered if a carseat sits at the same height in the same seat facing forward or rear facing. Some seats in the back of vehicles have a lower seat towards the rear then where your knees bend, hope that makes sense. I have sat in back seat where my lap is level then in some my knees are about under my chin. IDK I think it's wrong to force kidlets to have to be rearfacing while in a vehicle, it would probably make me puke.
