• Dr. Carol Terry, the medical examiner, continued testifying.
  • Terry appeared to lean toward suicide, saying it would have been difficult for someone else to shoot Tori.

• Lead investigators took the stand and said that Tori had suicidal thoughts, referencing interviews with Tori’s mother.

From the little bit I've been able to hear, there's a question as to whether it was assisted suicide and also a question as to the defendant wanting $300 and a gun. ??However, the audio has been so bad I haven't been able to figure out much about the case.

To keep Lang's positive and vibrant legacy alive, her parents released balloons in Lang's honor in her favorite color, green.

Friends who are jealous of a friend's success or potential for it, they become resentful and feel that they are left behind, some might even be quietly intimidated by families with a loving mother and father. imo.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. (Court TV) – A Georgia man whose best friend’s body was found under a tree in Stone Mountain Park is on trial for the second time for her murder.

In April, 21-year-old Austin Ford was facing a life sentence for the 2021 shooting death of 18-year-old Tori Lang, but a deadlocked jury was unable to come to a decision on whether Ford committed the crime or if Lang died by suicide.

A Georgia man is being retried for allegedly shooting and killing his friend, leaving her body in a park. This is the second trial against Austin Tybre Ford, 22. A judge had to declare a mistrial on May 1. Jurors convicted Ford of theft by taking, and one count of concealing the death of another, but they deadlocked on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault. They could not agree on whether or not he killed Tori Lang, 18.
