I don't remember seeing carpet from the stairs in the search warrant!

Do we have info that the stairs were carpeted? It seems odd that LE would take the whole thing, rather than just removing portions that were stained.

Well if I were the owner of the house and needed to rent it as soon as possible, I would do everything I could to erase the thought that it had been a murder scene. That would mean changing the carpet (to reassure the new buyers that it's clean from any blood), painting, and cutting down trees that seclude the site.

We know that he was close with a few guys through soccer and his vx-club. Any speculations with whom he'd be intimate with ? ? ?

Oh, lordy!! A gay affair, and Janet finding out, would certaintly be motive for murder. Just happened on One Life To Live, BTW. LOL.

Seriously, with his religious background ( sketchy as it is ,it appears that he was trying to be a practicing LDS ,because one of the captions with Kaiden was that they were doing their home teaching lesson, which is a function of the priesthood for LDS) a homosexual affair and discovery by Janet would probably cause him to have to relinquish ALL parental rights. I don't mean this to sound bigoted, but it I was Janet's mother and knew this, I would have flown her to Mexico or somewhere for a quickie divorce.
A murder plot with a gay lover as the alibi could well be the sticking point right now.
Just speculation.. I hadn't even considered that he might be bi-sexual. God, I must be getting OLD.

Note to Raven: Hon, you are just going to LUV prison.

Well, we know that he didn't live his religion (stealing, affairs, etc.) so I don't think the bi-sexual thing would be that farfetched. What do we really know about his alleged affairs....nothing! Maybe they were with men.

And I have been sitting here wondering for days why no woman had come forth and sold her story to the NE or other tab!!! Maybe there wasn't " another woman".

This is actually mostly residential. I noticed no other visible rental properties. Visible meaning out of place, not well kept, cars in the yard, etc. I was actually surprised that the neighborhood was as nice as it was.

I had a very strong reaction to this, a " Yes" kind of thing.. It so totally makes sense. He was competitive with men, he felt himself to be inferior to other men, he boasted and tried to curry favor with other men. We know NOTHING about his actions towards other women, except that he had indiscriminate sex while he and Janet were separated, and took that to mean " with women".

He was very anxious to be noticed by and to please MEN. We have absolutely NO information that would suggest that he was into attracting women to him. Nothing.
That could be one reason that his " soccer background information" was padded.. He wanted to appear to be more of a jock type than he was.

Also, my husband would not be caught dead in all that logo stuff. He thinks it's very sissified, and he is only about 6 years older than Raven.
You can clearly see some of it in the background of the shot with him holding Kaiden at the computer the day before the murder. He was also wearing a shirt with a logo on it.

No, once the team has their jersey and stuff they're good. So the total to deck them out for a season would be $1-2,000 total. Then they can also reuse much of the gear for a few seasons too.

I figure he did take care of his buddies on the team, but also had a nice side business going off ebay. There was a FuTBaLrGuY ebayer that I can't pull the records for.

I couldn't find that much on eBay. I found these two records:

SamuelPeters has NO activity. If he had ever used the account, it would still have info.
Samuelpeter was a seller of old flatware and some fugly Pyrex bowls.. Interesting that they were yellow and placed in the shape of a beehive for the photo though.. Beehive state is Utah, place where Mormons get temple garments is called The Beehive.

Thank you so much for the photos. I'm glad she had a nice little house. The setting is very pretty. A few thoughts: unless Janet had enormous sized feet, I would say those are mens 10.5 sized shoes, the size Raven wears.

If police took the desk apart, why didn't they remove it from the premises for lab testing?
I wonder if it was broken in a struggle in the office room during the murder!

What was that stuff on the ground by the creek which looked to be a maroon color or a shade of red? Did all the vegetation appear normal and intact to you?

I went to the crime scene today. It was raining, slightly, so I was a bit rushed in moving about the site. I got an eerie feeling as I approached the house. It is indeed sheltered from the road - completely. There was no indication that a crime had taken place there - no crime scene tape or anything. As I walked up the gravel driveway, I observed the creek, which is actually just a big ditch with moving water. I tried to take different shots of it, though again, I was rushed because of the rain. There's a dismantled desk in the driveway, which I included in the photos posted below. This may very well be remnants of the one that was in the office. I kept my distance, for some reason. There are several trees, as you can see in the pictures, which appear to be marked for removal. Perhaps the owner is doing this to improve the view and security of the home. The back yard is fenced, and I didn't enter it. There was a storage shed in the back yard, which I photo'd, though I didn't include it - didn't feel it was relevant. I saw the infamous side door and included a shot of it. I also climbed the steps of the front porch to find a pair of soccer shoes, which may be Janet's. They appear to be feminine in style. I peered through the windows to see that carpet had been ripped from the stairs - perhaps the entire house. The home was completely empty. It was apparent that no one is living there. There was a large trashcan outside, though I didn't think to open it. I also wanted to open the mailbox, but I really didn't want to tamper with federal property. This was a virgin experience for me. I hope the pictures provide some visualization. Thanks Golfmom for letting me use your photobucket account! Sorry these aren't in sequence. It would probably tell a better story. I took multiple photos of the creek/ditch because of our indepth discussion of the murderer cleaning up there. From my viewing of the scene, it wouldn't have been my first choice of places to clean up.

That really does say a lot about his character, huh? I think that I would probably sleep with any reminder of my deceased spouse that I could possibly find in order to feel closer to them. How sad that he just left the shoes.

I am so psyched to have actually found something myself.
Usually I am the one standing in the middle of the road going " What truck?"
I must say, though, that eBay was, unfortunately, very familiar to me. Past tense.

LE needs to know all of this. They can track his activity through eBay's records. Of course, we know what he was selling, but still.... this is hard evidence of it and they may not have the eBay records.
