that she had...OK...oh, and SHE tried to commit suicide too! I really hate how she is angry at GA not taking "responsibility" for the affair. Seriously? What this guy has gone through-even IF he had an affair I could care less if he ever admits it to anyone. I also seriously doubt GA was feeling sexual around that time.

If the jury believes her. Personally, she didn't seem believable to me. When JA had her read back the transcripts of her depo, she sounded like she was crying, but yet the whites of her eyes were still white, her nose didn't turn red, and as soon as she was done speaking, she was fine. Maybe I'm wrong about her crying, maybe she was just nervous, but she seemed totally fake to me. Did anyone ask her about her alleged brain tumor? I just wonder if that is real.

OMG....has this unusual person been hanging around the courthouse all day waiting for someone to notice her?? Good job, Vinnie. Enjoy your 15 off the blood of Caylee, also. After the verdict, you will fade away into obscurity.

I have no idea whether her and George had an affair. I have no idea whether George said that "It was an accident".

Both seem plausible. I don't think George ever really believed that Caylee was still alive. I'm sure he HOPED she was, and I'm sure that he felt he had to support Casey's claims and CA's delusions at that time. Given that, I would believe that, in the back of his mind, he believed that Caylee was dead and really, really wanted to believe it was some sort of accident that "spun out of control" due to ICA's persistent lying. Hell, if ICA was my kid, I'd probably want to believe that until someone proved to me otherwise.

Having said that...I just watched KH on HLN and she freaks me out a little. She seems to be able to transition from bitter, scornful nastiness to "woe is me", teary whining in a flash. Reminds me of someone else and it makes me really uncomfortable believing a lot of what she says.

she used, affair, intimate, he was in my bed. She also said she made the moves on him. Maybe he did allow her to physically comfort him, like, GA, why don't you lie down and rest, I'll give you a back rub or maybe there were hugs. I could see him having some type of "contact" but I find it far fetched to think he wanted to be having sex and she never said they had sex or sexual relations. In any event I find her morally bankrupt.

Although they did not get to bring it out in testimony, what made me think River Cruz is a liar was the part about the money that she says she gave to George. To police, she said she gave him "almost $4,000" during the time of their relationship. In increments of as much as $1200 at one time.

Now, to me, that would indicate a person who must have quite a bit of money - to be able to give that much away to someone else. Then she turns around and sells her story for a paltry $4,000? That does not make sense.

I also think George was extremely depressed at that time (and seems to still be). Lack of libido is very common among people who are extremely depressed.

And, yes, I think George is/was screwed up enough and needy enough to be having an "emotional relationship" with a woman who was showing him some attention.

Not that I think it makes much of a difference whether there was a sexual component to their relationship or not. I just think there IS possibility that it was not.

I also don't think it is all that significant if he did say that. I can see him saying it because he did not want to believe that Casey deliberately murdered Caylee. It only became a "problem" after the defense started to accuse George of being involved.

I am not even sure what this means. Does she mean she wants him to say that he pursued her? Responsibility in what way? The only thing I can think of is she wants him to say "Yeah, it's true. I bonked her", so she can "officially" represent that she was his lover for realz. Does she want him to declare that he loved her or something??

Even if it's true that he did the deed with her, it only cheapens her IMO because she was having an affair with a married, grieving man. It's like she wants to make a true love story out of a roll in the hay.

Did we ever find out how she's feeing? (brain cancer, tumor or whatever it was)?

She/her sister used to post on Myspace. When challenged as to the truth of her brain tumor claims she then blamed seizures for affecting her memory ( a la Cindy) and said she was terminally ill and couldn't talk about it again.
She claimed compromising photos of her with GA would prove her case- those never appeared. Then her sister said she was suicidal because so many people were harrassing her, and she would not be posting again .
Apparently she sought attention and then got very upset when she received way more scrutiny than she expected..

I thought it was her Twitter feeds they were challenging that made her feel suicidal.

I wonder why if KH believed GA knew it was an accident, why she tell someone in law enforcement of missing kids organ. this info.? Especially after she was so mad at him?

I don't think the Defense put this woman on the stand so much to damage George's character/credibility (a strong motivator, but not the primary one) as much as to somehow get the "accident" statement in and imply that George was aware and involved in the cover up. Through 13 days of evidence, the Defense was unable to produce anyone or anything indicating Caylee drowned or George disposed of the body. Nada. And, George didn't throw himself under the bus on any of the accusations, like the defense may have hoped.

So, on the last day of the case, Baez calls this woman, whom I personally believe is a straight up con woman who targeted the grandparents of a missing child, because he had no other choice. He had not delivered on his opening statement promises and, imo, he had nothing to lose today. Whether George had an affair with this woman is irrelevant. What he said to her about Casey could be very relevant. Imo, she came off poorly on the stand and the statement she claims George made was just his speculation/wishful thinking (as she told it to LE, IF he ever even said it). Small win for the defense in terms possibly putting George's credibility in question, imo. But, I don't think she impeached George on important matters, she failed to establish that George knew what happened to Caylee first-hand, and she looked bitter and sketchy - don't think her testimony will be considered heavily by the jury...

P.s. Why is she doing interviews right now if all she wanted was to get HER story out. She got it out in the National Enquirer? Okay. Today she told her story to millions of people watching the most widely televised trial since OJ. We know her story, so the only reason she's doing interviews now is to try to sell everyone on the details of her story so she can make money off it in the future, imo... It's like she wants to force people to believe her; I think she's scary. JMO...

I think he did have an affair. What does that have to do with Casey killing her child

Grief counselor stated grief can be handles with sexual activity.
CA is the one who wears the pants.. GA knew in his heart ICA was involded. CA most likley DID NOT support him.
CA is controlling and seemed to leave GA on his own.
I do not think cheating is the right thing to do.. but it happens everyday across the world.. perhapes he had other affairs.. to be honest he needed comfort he wasnt getting from CA. I sort of dont blame him.

I thing Holloway DID care for GA. I believe she did fall for him.. compassion in a time of need. I think she still cared.

I do not think GA AND CA will stay together after this.. not because of the affair but due to grief, sorrow, anger, sadness, confusing is HARD to stay together after a loss at times.. again LA will be the outsider and probally just not want to choose sides and try and go on with life and carry much scars for life.

When talking about how the family GA that it was so hard to watch go though when Caylee was missing.. he never ever mentioned how hard for ICA.. he only mentioned it was tearing CA and LA and himself apart.. yesterdays testimony.. he never ever mentioned ICA grieving and sadness...

The keeping her upbeat in jail was not to keep in good spirits. I believe it was under detective suggestion.. he was calm and wanted to coax the girl to give a little truth.. he didnt really believe her then.. CA dictated what he was allowed to believe..

JMO on the above events.
GA seems to have the only one with logic no matter when that logice hit him. My gosh he had to go to police with what he thought was truth without CA knowing .. How dare her wear a dress.. she wears the pants !

And her reasons for choosing River Cruz as an alias were obviously phony too! The first time I heard that name, I thought, "what a bimbo!" Sound just like River Cruise. Her sister's alias is Skye Cruz, why not Ocean Cruise???

I think the poster was referring to George Anthony. I might be wrong, but that's how I took it. Two first names, not two names.

Hiya Monique and All,

Monique, you hit the nail on the head... This chicks weird transitioning is indicative of something very odd.

Just caught up on the last few pages. I can see that I echoed some of the opinions of Thurston and Ms. SmithJrsGirl. BTW welcome to WS!!! Also, I appreciated reading what you both wrote! Additionally, I appreciated reading what you wrote to Boytwnmom -- I can see we see some of the same bats flying around KH's head.

Did anyone catch this bit:

>>"He said it was an accident that snowballed out of control. I was in shock. By the time I looked up, his eyes were full of tears. I didn't elaborate. I didn't ask him anything further," Holloway said. <<

'Scuse me Ms. Cruz, did you mean "I didn't ask him to elaborate" or "I didn't ask him to explain further." Or was that some type of "slip?"

As for the mention of, "his eyes were full of tears"... Unless that was written in the original transcript -- the one she now states that she lied in? -- I smell defense setup, "Make sure that you some how bring up his eyes tearing up" and we'll let you have dinner at the Ritz with your sister of choice.

The defense would love to diminish George's tears and grieving on the stand. Everytime I watched those video blurbs, I got choked up with the man.

I'm sure George isn't perfect, but my guess is that it "is" funny for him to have anyone insinuate that he might have any type of romantic attraction to that woman -- but wait, is she a woman?

Something just occurred to me - People were wondering whether Ms. Names² gave George checks or cash. I don't believe she gave him any money at all but, if she did, it had to be cash unless she has fake ID and a checking account under her false name. George did not know until very recently that her name is not River Cruz.

Wondering...

For some of you all that learned a bit of information on R Kruz and her sister... Was it confirmed that the sister went to jail for a jewelry theft?

Someone pointed out this photo earlier in the thread:

Check out the ring on River "Allen's" left hand.. Sure wish I had a close up of that ring.

Hmmmm...let's see -- I'm sure this is old news to some of you, but perhaps worth repeating...

>>The two women also made a joint appearance in another crime report in February 2008 after more than $1,000 in jewelry was stolen from an apartment neighbor of the twins.

The thief who brought jewelry to a pawn shop presented a driver's license with Krystal Holloway's picture on it, but left behind a thumb print on the pawn slip that belonged to Cecelia Holloway, so she's the one who got five months in jail.

In fact, on the day Casey Anthony was being escorted out of jail on Aug. 21, 2008, Cecelia Holloway was being booked there for violating probation on another conviction in Seminole County for dealing in stolen jewelry.

Court records state that both sisters have prior arrest records for attempted burglary of a structure and thefts.<<

This is one thing I noticed, please let me know if anyone else noticed this. First of all, I was a George supporter in the beginning when it wasnt cool. Having said that, I am on the fence about GA now. I dont think he abused ICA, but here is what I noticed. When (I believe) GA is lying, he adds things to his answers , and makes more animated facial expressions.such as when asked about KH, he says "I find that funny" or something like that, and makes more animated facial expressions. Today when asked if he told her it was an accident spun out of control, he adds his two cents and makes those facial expressions. I do think he had the affair and I do think while he and KH were pillowtalking, he said something to the effect that it may have been ac accident that spun out of control. I am a little disappointed in GA for lying about the affair and such, and actually it does make me wonder about some things. Anyone else notice anything like this?

Sorry if this has been said already.....

One thing that strikes me is this:

Let's say you were in the Orlando area and had gone to the command tent to help in the search for Caylee. You would have been as much, if not more so, invested in finding out what happened to Caylee than those who were farther removed geographically. So, when presented w/ this opportunity of George sitting in your living room, just the two of you, and he makes the statement of the "accident that snowballed out of control".......you just "pass" on questioning him or saying anything further. Who would not want him to elaborate? I don't buy it.

Hey Chilly, how doin?

Do we know "when" she was supposed to have given George money? Hmmm...let's see, "She said they began an intimate relationship in August of 2008, according to CNN." Maybe around then?

Wonder if there was some remaining jewelry to pawn laying around? The one article says "the thief who brought jewelry" -- it doesn't say they brought all of the stolen jewelry in to the pawn shop. And what's with her sister having her DL? Do they share?

Hmmm... I wonder if a close up of that ring mentioned in the last post were possible if someone would recognize that as "their" jewelry?

How was this woman earning the "gifts" she was supposedly giving to George?

I don't have a problem with her not questioning him further.. if he were in pain as she says he was, and I believe he was, it isn't a big stretch to see her caring and worrying, letting it go to not push him into a deeper pain.

I DO have a problem with her "going along" with her sister so to speak and letting her sister push her into a place she wasn't wanting to go.. that to me says something is hinky.

Sorry if this has been said already.....

I just found this photo from 12/11/08 and look what the caption says:

2mdlxkz.jpg

River Allen, left, and Kalani Bowles, who say they are friends of Casey Anthony, mother of missing three-year-old Caylee Anthony, arrive where skeletal remains of a child were found.

Just that I don't remember seeing her use that last name.

Yup Eunice...

Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Certainly seems that someone in an intimate time with George (as in close up and personal, not sexual) would have explored further.

BTW, Eunice and everyone... Surely I was not the only one that saw KH's really overt hand signal today after she wiped her nose or put her hands up to her nose? She then makes a type of "L" shape (if I remember correctly) with her right hand, thumb and first finger and kind of lays her first finger across the bridge of her nose with her thumb up towards her eye. This signal appeared to have come at a time when it was as if to say, "Okay, I did what you are paying me for, now get me off the stand!"
