Thanks for that, plus I have posted links to refute the majority of what was alleged against TM...such as his social accounts getting hacked by a White Supremeist:

We can't forget either that GZ has a history of violence, even against LE.

The only things in question from the hacking are the e-mail and FB screenshots. His twitter accounts were obtained by a third party forensic investigation and released online (by the Daily Caller). There isn't much question as to the authenticity of them.

Also, Zimmerman was not convicted of any violent crimes.

There is a lot of controversy about how the school handled crime and evidence such as the stolen jewelry. If you are interested - google TM and Captain Hurley..... (in my opinion this is yet ANOTHER example of low expectations and how it has affected our youth) :(

I'm not following...

I have to wonder how normal it was for TM to get into fights, as she said she thought it was "just a fight" as if it's no big deal, happens all the time...

Given the high incidence of gun violence in that area, I suspect that a fistfight would not be worth mentioning in most cases. I wouldn't expect her to be all that exercised about it, myself.

I've asked this before (not to you, I believe) and I'm not sure I got a response.

If someone was chasing you, as others allege Zimmerman was doing to Martin, and that individual fell onto the sidewalk, into the grass, into some bushes, up against a fence or whatever else there is to fall on... Would you leave the area, approach the man, or stay where you are?

I'm pretty sure I'd take advantage and get the heck out of dodge.

Good question....but I tend to think he jumped right back up in a NY minute and there wasn't a real op to get away from him...he may have been brandishing his gun already at that juncture, regardless of his convoluted tale about grabbing his weapon in fear of his life.:moo:

im still on the fence, leaning more towards aquittal or manslaughter but i was just thinking...could it be that during the struggle between the two, trayvon started screaming for help when he saw zimmerman reach for the gun? this would fit with trayvon still being on top of george and causing the injuries to the back of his head.

Yup! It's a very faint swishing noise. Thank you DH!! When dryer conditions are around, it will be more of a faint crackle. HTH! DH didn't believe me, when I told him I could hear it snow. It may have something to do with my Cherokee bloodline. I dunno.

I KNEW I was forgetting something when I heard about this yesterday! Good job, Tulessa! I do in fact remember your hearing ability. Thanks for hopping in on this!

Wasn't some of it recently disclosed from discovery in the case, too?

This is important because the media since day 1 have been spreading misinformation about this entire case.

It has been widely reported that he went to the store to get Arizona Iced Tea When it in fact is actually the Watermelon Fruit Juice drink that he got.

http://www.hlntv.com/article/2012/03/22/skittles-speak-out-trayvon-martin-deeply-saddened

(look at the HLN headline)

http://articles.orlandosentinel.com..._1_miami-schools-punch-unarmed-black-teenager

Trayvon was an unarmed black teenager who had committed no crime, they say, who was gunned down while walking back from a 7-Eleven with nothing more sinister than a package of Skittles and can of Arizona iced tea.
Still don't see the relevance in why it is important whether it is iced tea or fruit juice. Nothing was sinister, nothing alcoholic. The only significance I see is accuracy in reporting, but no harm done here...

Why wouldn't he just get up, then? Being on top is a position of dominance. It's not like he couldn't just... get up and leave...

IMO that's a very good synopsis. Also like your avatar of the "Princes in the Tower."

Why thank you muchly!! Charmed to hear it, Lovelymountains!!
You know one of those young Princes was just a bit younger than Trayvon was when he was brutally murdered.

He didn't just take someone's life because he wanted to, he did it because he had no other choice. This is self defense.

The state is saying George wanted to shoot Trayvon and if the state says that George wanted to shoot Trayvon they need to back it up with factual evidence.

They will have to convince me 100% that they even have a case at all.

JMO

The DT is going to need to convince me 100% that Mr. Zimmerman "had no other choice." Not buying it so far. Broken nose? Big deal. Mine's been broken twice.

There doesn't have to be "no other choice". That's not how the law in Florida works. Peril of death or fear of great bodily injury. If his head was being repeatedly slammed into the sidewalk, that can meet either criteria.

I have no idea, but I'd be interested to see sourcing if it was.

Found what I was thinking of. It's the cell phone records from discovery

snipped from the link~

The evidence that George Zimmerman's attorneys have uncovered on Trayvon Martin's cellphone paints a troubling picture of the Miami Gardens teenager: He sent text messages about being a fighter, smoking marijuana and being ordered to move out of his home by his mother.

And photos from that phone offer more of the same: healthy green plants — what appear to be marijuana — growing in pots and a .40-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun.

Ok, Why would Trayvon be screaming for help if it is he that has George on the ground and he's beating him on the sidewalk?

I honestly couldn't tell you. She has lived here for 19 years and has spoken English as far as what I could decipher. I think she said English is her first language and that she understands it.

I had no trouble understanding this young woman's English. Are you saying you honestly couldn't decipher what she was uttering as English? Is there any legitimate doubt that she understands and can speak the English language? Seriously?

Yes, back toward his vehicle. Until the police arrived.

Do you honestly think George could pull Trayvon 700 feet back towards his vehicle?????

JMO

Where is the evidence to suggest that he did exactly that?

Don't you think someone would have seen George pulling Trayvon back to his vehicle???

JMO

Neither of which was he convicted of in a court of law.

I haven't been convicted of them either. Oh wait, I haven't ever been charged with them, either. I think it's entirely reasonable to point out that kind of information -- on both sides.
