I am pleased to see that there are others are still concerned about the Jessica Manners murder. Wrong man in jail for that one and they know it. Why doesn't Wendy come in and tell us where Jessica really was. Did anyone tell you that then AG Cuomo, while acting as special prosecutor in the Tankleff case send two of his investigators to interview the wrongfully convicted man that is in jail for the Manners murder.

I agree there are similarities here -good finds. I am still on the fence as far as 1 or 2+ killers so I still think that the dismembered victims on LI (with similarities to cases elsewhere) plus the string of strangled males found near them and/or in sump areas are likely related). It looks like I have been focusing on a different area -and using a very inclusive approach (even some cases with convictions) in which I will be admit some may have too many differences, but in an effort to highlight some forgotten cases I'm including them:

Great list & research! When I heard there could be a link with New Bedford, I started poking around at the unsolved murders in and around that area. I had a very strict criteria in mind, so there could be others as well that strayed from what I thought needed to fit.

I am working under the assumption of 2 killers, but I haven't exactly worked out how that all fits yet. For example, I have New Bedford, the 3 I mentioned above, AC4 & G4 grouped together for one killer right now; then I have the dismembered victims & the intact victims found nearby the dismembered bodies grouped together as another killer. I don't know if I am right on this thinking, but it is what I think at this moment.

I have to do a search. I lost a lot of what I had saved that weren't screenshots. I do have some interesting text messages from LH where he talks about being at a wedding with Bisset a week before he died.

If they are the same murders in CT that I came across, I also found it interesting that the murders were not far from Fairfield University. Perhaps he was visiting a friend at another college. It also happens to be Spota's alma mater (which means nothing, just interesting).

I don't know when the calls to Amanda were made, but Sunday's don't resonate with me only because he could've been spending his days off in the city. If calls were made on Thursday's, and those dates are known, they could be compared with his calendar from the law firm he was with. They would need a subpoena for that. I don't know if they have one. I'll do some asking around about the importance of Thursday's.

Thanks for clearing up the DNA question - I was kind of shocked when I heard the claims they had some for the NB cases since to my knowledge they didn't.

I do not remember anything ever in the media about the New Bedford Highway killer making taunting phone calls though?

Is there a link handy?

also - I think LH is definitely a strong POI if we separate out the Gilgo 4 from the other victims and treat them as isolated from the other bodies (meaning there's been more than one serial killer at work here). But I also agree generally with Snatch that some of this circumstantial evidence, for those of us not privy to private conversations between Leanne and LH, etc. isn't strong enough to claim he's definitely the guy. And I've tried to track where he was and make those connections as well. They are there, but kind of tenuous. I *hope* he's being very carefully looked at by an outside agency in order to rule him out (or in). He sounds like a very exploitive, violent, unsavory guy based on the tips so far, but that doesn't mean he's the killer responsible for any or all of these victims. Hpefully time will tell one way or the other.
I'm very confused on one thing that's being discussed though- how are some people here hearing these taped conversations? And have all of these conversations been turned over to the FBI and/or an outside investigating agency?

Whats this about LH seeing bisset a week before his possible suicide? I say possible because with spota and burke running things like the russian kgb, theres no doubt they would clip bisset and bob lanieri if somehow they became a threat to their house of cards.. somethings very fishy about the bisset/lanieri suicides. Especially if they were connected with burke and his peeps.

Lynn Barthelemy has came out as well as LE to ask people to not speak of Bissett anymore as he was innocent. I was under the impression we respect the wishes of victim's families here as well as LE. I guess I was wrong. LE flat out made a public statement that everything about Bissett was rumor and that it is DAMAGING to his surviving family members. Bissett killed himself b/c his business wasn't going so great and it was stressful and the last nail in the coffin was knowing he would have to fire people during Christmas. k?

The small size of the victim could be a choice for the killer b/c smaller prey is easier to subdue. Also easier to dispose of. or it simply could be a matter of preference. JMO.

I see where you are going here though and I am with you. I can bet this killer hates his mother or an ex wife. He feels he has been slighted by women and wants to humiliate them IMO. Maybe he evn had a female teacher who got on his nerve as a kid a la the EAR/ONS perp.

Snatch is ruling EVERYTHING out. To say he isn't definitively LISK is logical and understandable, to try to argue every claim is suspect and foolish. Snatch seems to think NONE of it is odd, which makes snatch odd, imo. Just my vibe.

We need to listen to these girls cries for help and their leads to the monsters. Many of these girls ended up in the position they are in b/c no one heard their cries as young troubled children/teens. Even if they don't lead us to LISK, they might lead us to yet another monster. Because sadly, LISK isn't the only monster prowling NY and abusing/killing prostitutes.
