Even if I'm not sold on LH being LISK (but do think he's a strong POI) I don't think in the least that Leanne is untrustworthy or out to "get" someone.
I think she's smart, I think she's brave, and I don't think her suspicions are frivolous, and that's even without knowing exactly what LH has said to her. She's doing the right (and difficult) thing to come forward with all of her information and suspicions. IMO LH is considered innocent of being an actual murderer while he's being thoroughly investigated by an uncompromised authority, but that doesn't make Leanne the villain in the meantime. IMO he's shady af if nothing else. I'm trying not to get tunnel vision. ymmv.

I, personally, think he is LISK. I don't expect other people to say "oh hell yeah, this definitely proves he is LISK". I, again, know things you don't. Or maybe you do and just dont like it. But what has been presented is COMPELLING in the very least, especially when one considers the overall profile and pattern of behavior. You are breaking down everything as if they are mutually exclusive from one another, which baffles me. Its the totality of the evidence, not each piece individually.

All the evidence combined that you've listed so far isn't all that compelling. A lot of the reasons you list are silly for example "He moved to Oak Beach in 2012 with two daughters after a SK dumped bodies there! No one would do that unless they were a SK so he must be LISK"
 
Right but it's mostly a bunch of meaningless points all together. The only worthwhile reasons are he's connected to Spota/Burke, escorts, violent and New Bedford. Should he be a person of interest sure....but you've got a long way to go

Yes. This is a very, very sadistic, very narcissistic serial killer. Not all serial killers want the level of attention LISK was asking for. He called the victims sister and told her exactly what he'd done to her sister. He could relive the power, the control, the god like feeling that most psychopaths describe they get when taking a life. It may have also sexually aroused him, as sadists are aroused by pain. So even the pain of torturing the sister gave him intense gratification. He then laid her body, along with 5 others, in a 500 ft area. He knew once they were found that there could be no second guessing a serial killer was in town. He knew barthelemy would be identified and he knew the media would take note of how he outwitted the cops with his phone call (narcissism) and it would add to the sensation of the story, which as he perceives, is his power. I also believe he has LE knowledge and knew enough to know that the search parameters would then extend to the other beaches, where his prior handiwork lay. I think he committed the first set of murders and dumped some of the body parts where they'd be seen. Of course they got some media coverage, at the time, but it wasn't enough for him. He may have wanted them at the time to realize there was a serial killer lurking, or he may have been content with the attention momentarily. I personally believe that he wanted to be known as an SK all along and LE never put it together, thats why he laid the GB4 out so close to one another and close enough to other body parts that would match those found prior. I don't think it was a case where he was content with the earlier attention and escalated to ratcheting things up.

You're looking for a very visible narcissist. Someone who thinks he is untouchable enough to taunt the police and get away with it. Someone who regularly violates boundaries in his personal and professional life. Someone who will consistently and publicly shirk societal norms because they don't apply to him. I don't believe someone with this personality construct would be able to maintain employment unless they were their own boss, or they were in an occupation where they were insulated/protected. He's smart enough to change his MO, but too narcissistic to want it be unnoticed.

No offense to Maddalena, but for someone to say the person has a fragmented personality is very basic. All psychopaths are personality disordered, particularly in the Cluster B of the DSM. Thats the cluster where the "mask wearers", or fragmented personalities reside.

So I am just now catching up from back in December 2016 whenLeann did the press conference and this thread was first started. Hate to have been gone so long on this casebut had some personal stuff going on but so glad to be back… that being said,the press conference was incredible and I don’t know what to say but that allthis is making so much since and how hard would it be to believe that these menare capable of murder. Just because there are different kinds of killings heredoesn’t mean that it isn’t a group of men. The murders that involve thedismemberment would so fit the doctor. He lost a limb which I feel like to somepeople would be very tramatic and with him medical background the dismembermentwould be fitting. Maybe Burke and he hada murder club or something. With all the things that these police officers aredealing with on a daily basis it is not unreasonable to think that they couldbe getting together and taking out these aggressions and frustrations on thesepoor women. And from everything I have researched and have heard and read aboutBurke he is obviously show deviant behavior his entire life and what I can tellpeople have been covering up and not holding him accountable for this behaviorwhich IMO would lead to him testing his boundaries just to see what he can getaway with. And I believe it escalated to murder. Leann coming forward I feelwas very brave but very scary. These guys are dangerous and we don’t know howfar up this really goes. I just hope that she will keep herself safe. And aboutthe detective who outed her to the POI what was the point? Was the detectivetold to do that or does he know more? I mean why tell a POI in a murder casethat someone they know called in… Isn’t that what CONFIDENTIAL means! And wasanything ever done about that.

OntheCase27 post got it completely right I think that ifBurke and the doctor are the pair then as I have stated before thedismemberment with Jessica Taylor, Peaches and the Jane Does I would attributeto Hackett and the others the GB4 to Burke. I agree with the fact that DeeDee brought up as far as yesSG was bipolar and a drug addict but I am a recovering addict and also havebipolar disorder and no matter how many drugs I have ever done including everythingfrom cocaine to heroine I have never called the police or ran outside into thenight because of it. SherwoodForest post on 5/8 I had totally not thought of the angle that Hackett or Burke or one oftheir people because even though those are the only names I have mentioned Ibelieve there were others involved, one may have fathered peaches child and thatcould’ve been the reason for the difference in those 2 as far as a child beingkilled, maybe she came around after having a previous encounter with one orboth of them and came around saying they were the father and she wanted moneyand that is what caused her and the baby to be killed.
I really wish thatthe Killing Season should do another season and I disagree about them making itall about one set of murders. I started this postlast night and I have literally been thinking and talking about this case andthese women all day to anyone that will listen. I don’t know what to do and Ithink that I have this figured out. So this is just one theory and my opinionso maybe the girls had been going to Oak Beach to the “parties” such as theones that Leann attended. Oak Beach is right around the corner from where allthe bodies were found and these parties may have just been a cover for darkerthings that have been going on. They didn’t plan on SG running out and callingattention to their playground. I believe that Hackett did have Shannan when hecalled her mother and the reason that he got the number was from Shannansphone. I think he thought if he called it would buy some time and then when hecalled and said that she ran away I think he thought that was putting distancebetween him and her being with him. I think that Joe Brewer called Hackett tohead Shannan off or that Pak chased her right to Hackett’s door. I know that’sa lot of maybe and ifs but I just really want to figure out why all of us onWebsleuthes can see whats going on but the people who are supposed toprofessional SUPPOSEDLY cant…
Just getting to the end of these threads and I am now goingto be doing my digging on LH and see what I can find it sounds like thatAnixetykiller and Hawk know what they are talking about and I had no clue thatanyone knew who the original tip that leann called in about was on. What did LH call himself? Best daddy ever? This reminded me of the interview Commis Dormer gave. He was talking about the LISK case. I found it a litttle odd that he brought up college students hooking up with sugar daddys to pay tuition. That topic seemed so unrelated to this case. It makes you wonder what he
may have known.

But I agree that it is super weird that he is even on a site like that and didn't he just resign to concentrate on his family is part of that concentration on young girls looking for older men to pay them?
