Friends of Steve Bellone, huh. It gets deeper at each turn. Those must have been some wild fundraisers.

ETA: Not to stray off topic, but...this article is from June 2011. I don't have time to analyze it right now, but the timing of the heated Suffolk County race is interesting.

http://archive.longislandpress.com/2011/06/16/suffolk-county-executive-race-heats-up/

ETA: When skeletons start popping up -- literally -- during the middle of a heated, controversial campaign for Suffolk County Executive; and if Neptune's research is correct, and the house indicated by Leanne is linked to Stricoff, a childhood crony of Steve Bellone (the winner) and his campaign manager; flares light up my vision like the Fourth of July. It's also worth mentioning that during the same time, (roughly spring-fall 2011, while bodies were unearthed along the shore) the incumbent was taken down by Spota over campaign fund shenanigans. For a reason never revealed, however, Spota chose not to pursue an indictment. Why not? Bribery? Pay off? Or a threat to expose what the bad boys were up to? Remember, Spota named Burke chief.

I wish everyone would read over the links, especially the third one, and tell me if you think I'm blowing smoke. It's okay. Wouldn't be the first time. :)

We have discussed this exact home a fair bit in the past. ... lol Hawk is going to love this!!

It quite possibly does have a stash of Burlap ....as the previous (?) owner liked to transport his Cocaine in it. The same guy that liked making *advertiser censored*.

Now when I do the question mark about ownership of the house.......I had a chuff when Mr Ray said there was some confusion about ownership of the home ......

Maybe when Hawk comes back on .... he can explain about the said Property ...... he has the figures at his fingertips ....

Was Harry Feingolds home .... supposedly sold to Robert Strickoff ....

But yeah ..... Ill let Hawk explain .... Again something Hawk has been trying to get out there to people for years.

It certainly looks that way. The Feingold home passed to Stricoff and the Friends of Steve Bellone.

Neptune lays it out well in this post.

Every address in Oak Beach has 2 addresses -- 1 that can be used to find the property on a map and the other to search property/public records.

Here is what I found for Feingold in Oak Beach:

To search on Google Earth:
58 Savannah Walk - Oak Beach
40°38'19.42"N 73°17'33.22"W

To look up in public records:
4309 Oak Beach, Oak Beach NY 11702

Here are sources to people associated with the "4309":

As an aside, I've paid attention to Hawk since he first joined, and fought off his detractors on many occasion. Without hinting at names, it's interesting that so many wanted him to be silenced. That often is a tell.

It's not so surprising. The docu-series garnered a lot of attention, and made some individuals feel it was the right time to speak up. Finally, in their view, there were two interested researchers ready to listen with an open mind.

Regarding Leanne, it's possible that she was vetted quickly because she had knowledge of a piece of previously withheld intel. Or, Ray might have known her story, but had been unable to locate her, or get her to agree to a sitdown. Josh and Rachel, in their own way, might have provided the reassurance she needed.

Try the link in this post for the presser.

It would be a great time for JR to produce the friend of Shannan Gilbert's who signed a sworn affidavit connecting James Bissett as a client. I remember him discussing this on the WebSleuth radio episode as a guest alongside Josh & Rachael.

For those interested in seeing Leanne's entire 49min press conference:

It's encouraging to see momentum building in this case once again. I wonder if PreciousDust has been following the recent developments.

Detective portela. Also handled Shannans 911 call.

Leanne possibly knew the color of the burlap sacks.

I'm not doubting Burke's involvement with sex workers and even possibly Shannan Gilbert but as a cop, one would hope he'd know of a better way to dispose of bodies to ensure they are never found and the victims are never identified. I mean burying them on ocean Parkway seems logical for your everyday, civilian killer but for a seasoned cop, I just seems stupid. Either that or its genius. Maybe he knows people will think a cop would never do that and so he uses it to his advantage. The problem here is that if he was a regular at these oak beach drug/sex parties then it would be pretty stupid to leave the bodies in a place where witnesses saw him. He's a police officer and not just any police officer, the cheif. He really has nothing to fear. He can transport a body across Suffolk county and not have to worry about being pulled over and searched by other officers. For him there is hardly any risk in transporting the bodies, even in plain clothes he still wouldn't be suspected. Let's just say he was pulled over by an officer while in his own car with plain clothes. As sick as he shows his badge his officers would let him go. I believe Ocean parkway is a state road which means state troopers. As a cop he'd be pretty dumb to dump bodies on a road protected by state troopers.

Maybe the bodies were planted by another person where they'd easily be found, as a warning. As if to say, "lay off or we'll expose you." It's far-fetched, but if true, the plan has worked. Burke's behind bars, etc., etc. None of that bunch has come through unscathed. Now, that's not to say they all were responsible for the murders, but might have enjoyed the festivities, drank too much, and either went home or passed out. No one would ask where the women were the next day, because they were working women, and not expected to be around once their work was done. Some very ugly business could have taken place right under a bunch of drunken noses, and they never were the wiser until it was too late. JMO and ramblings.

Im in the dark here. I cant see the videos. She called in a tip? The person she called on was tipped off? Is this correct? She was an informant for LE about this case? How does one go from tipster to informant? Can someone fill me in?

My understanding (which may be wrong)... Leanne called SCPD with a tip on someone. Then, she called that person to basically create a ruse that SCPD called her, not the other way around -- in case SCPD called this person. Then the person who was the subject of Leanne's call, did call SCPD -- checking up on whatever they were inquiring about. Some poorly-trained person at SCPD who has no understanding of the word "discretion" said "Oh, no, that's not how it happened... she called US about you."

I have no idea how the CI part factors in, so that's all I got for you.

She apparently was not a CI. This is how Rachel explained it.

To clear that up. Leanne contacted me on twitter Monday, Josh and I interviewed her Tuesday. We then worked with John Ray for a hand off. Then he decided to hold a press conf in which Josh and I attended. So, John Ray just became aware of Leanne this week.

Grrr thought had a link that worked ..... hang two secs ....Ill be back

I'm still trying to figure out exactly who (which Feingold) occupied Savannah Walk address in April and August 2011.

When was the property sold to Stricoff??

And, trying to figure out when HB Feingold died (was it Jan 2011)??

Yep .... same one Kat.

Hey Puggle.... don't you have info on some connections between Feingold and, was it a partner of his?? at a Higbie Lane West Islip address which was also linked to Brewer?? (I'm trying to go back and read, but difficult to keep up with everything)

Have to dash to make it to the post office before they close...but if any of you have dug up anthing on the seashell company, can you link me or pm me so I can read when I get back?

TIA
