Yes, we must have crossed. I found a blurb when it states it was published 2 minutes in. Not a ton of info in it but the very fact that they found evidence that he had a unit and got a search warrant for it asap is pretty significant JMO
and the storage place is near his home and Gilgo.
So curious what they found.

what about Atlantic City? so similar in the way the 4 victims are arranged. neatly all facing the same direction, randomly murdered in a vacation and entertainment area...
Agree. What's even more disturbing is that in rewatching Killing Season (it's on here #1 ) the Atlantic City police were apparently just as bad if not worse than Suffolk County back then. They would not investigate it. Rachel and Josh interviewed a vice cop who spills it all. Seems no jurisdiction wanted the stigma, including Atlantic City which was surviving those days as being a casino/gambling tourist destination. MOO Today, things are very different. We may finally see some movement down there too. Though, according to the documentary they never processed the scene where they "might" have been killed (the corner unit hotel room) and the building was torn down after Hurricane Sandy, taking any potential away with it. If they didn't collect anything, that would be tragic. JMO

Good point. So could that mean he quit killing just after the bodies were found?
could be. Perhaps as he realized how deadly cell phones could be in his line of work. Remember, according to his Internet searches, he was trying to see what LE was discovering on HIS case. It seems California's Golden State Killer stopped when DNA began to be used in law enforcement. Apparently he recognized the possibilities. Maybe RH did as well.

Suspect in Gilgo Beach Killings Led a Life of Chaos and Control

<snip> Steve Kramberg, a property manager in Brooklyn who worked with Mr. Heuermann for about 30 years, called him “a gem to deal with, highly knowledgeable.” Mr. Heuermann was “a big goofy guy, a little bit on the nerdy side” who worked long hours and was available day and night, Mr. Kramberg said. But he was also devoted to his wife, who Mr. Kramberg said had health problems, and to his elderly mother.

<snip> At work, Mr. Heuermann’s punctilious approach rubbed some people the wrong way. Kelly Parisi, a former president of the co-op board at a building in Brooklyn Heights that hired Mr. Heuermann to oversee renovations, said he was “adversarial with everyone” and so “overly fastidious” that the board eventually fired him.

<snip> According to the timeline released by prosecutors and to Buildings Department and court records, Mr. Heuermann kept up his busy work schedule even as victims were vanishing.

A study in contradictions, that's for sure.

It is interesting that he continued to purchase and use burner phones. Coupled with the scaring the day lights out of the poor woman at the park, I think he has continued to fantasize and plan abductions and murders just a he waited for the opportunity-- right woman depending on his criteria, wife out of town, and ability to lay low. With more and more access to the dark web and all kinds of visuals, I am sure he was able to get some satisfaction as he planned and waited.

I would like to know how old that doll is.

If it belongs to RH and not to a family member, two things come to mind. He either “acted out” some pedophilic impulses on dolls and then went after kids,

Or, remember how in both TB and GRK’s cases, there were attacks/disappearances in each neighborhood way before they grew up and became active SKs? In each case, there is a suspicion that a child was their first case.

I wonder if there was a child/teenager who disappeared in Long Island way before this guy became “officially” active?

This is more complex, as I think there were more kids. But in the beginning, GRK as a teenager attacking a young boy

ETA: it just came to my mind that RH emphasized that he always lived in Long Island. Was it so? His dad died when he was 11 - did the family move after that? He went to college - where? Where did he live during his first marriage? He bought this house from his mom - so, never ever lived anywhere else? It would be odd.
There were three teenage girls who disappeared from Long Island around 1984 - all from an area easy driving distance from
Massapequa park and right off sunrise highway. One was found murdered and viciously beaten - I believe they have dna. Wonder if there’s a chance he was involved

Sorry if this has already been pointed out. The Bonjour L'Interview youtube video has been taken down, I guess either by youtube, or by the channel owner (turned to private). Make of that what you will, I guess. I did manage to save a back-up copy of it myself.

omigod that would be something...and also would not surprise me...as a younger man he would be even more swift and deadly. I think we will go all the way back , just as with Bundy and find a string of victims..I can just picture how he is so affable and then he turns on you...he is deeply sadistic and cruel and must really hate women...hate all those who are weaker than him..he is a bully and a brute and wants to see little children hurt and crying.
this is pathological and probably started in childhood..( I'm only venturing).

in 1984 he was young and it would be easy to find teenage girls to kill..later on with his cashflow , his being married etc. the dawn of on line everything all the time...probably easier to buy young women who fit his desire for small childlike women...you just order them like instacart.

oh we are going to have quite a ride with this guy.

The fact that an arrest was made after about a year or so of concerted work by LE just begs the question of how much sooner this guy would have been caught if there weren't so much corruption within SCPD for years. Thank goodness this is moving in a positive direction.
Completely agree while also thinking that over the years that have passed without movement on the case, the technology movement has grown by leaps and bounds. Perhaps, even if located in 2010, the technology might NOT have been there. I don't know how long it's been possible to track phones traveling together. That caught Patrick Frazee who killed Kelsey Barreth, but that was 2019.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/crime-...friend-reveals-kelsey-berreth-s-last-n1078236

, who killed Kelsey Barreth

And, the house is most likely where some of the murders took place or held his trophies or implements (if there are any).

If he has property elsewhere, I hope they are getting warrants for those as well. JMHO
Apparently, he does.

"He declined to say if they believed the suspect, who owns houses in South Carolina and Las Vegas, could have been preparing for another assault – he continued to use the services of sex workers – or to flee." ...

"They noted he drove a dark, first-generation Chevrolet Avalanche with a unique cab. A database search identified Heuermann as the owner of similar vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered by the FBI from South Carolina."

So, holy moly, LE will be looking at those locations for unsolved murders and cold cases. This could be a whopper of a serial killer.

Long time since posting here but please give this podcast a chance peeps. Alot to absorb here. Its far from over. Msm isnt taking the deep dive.

Curious how they caption the pic of the back yard as being "run down" when it's actually a very active garden.

...

I hope it was his wife's garden and not his. Maybe it sounds weird but serial killers don't deserve to also have a green thumb and a thriving garden.

One wonders what type of fertilizer he used... ... ...

The suspect was born in 1963. Would he be murdering at age 21, or was he more like Bryan Kohberger, who needed time to evolve into who he became at age 28?

You have a car not typical for LI, esp back then, less so now, and a triangulation to Massapequa and you are telling me you can't find out from DMV who in Massapequa has a registered Chevy Avalanche? MOO It's very frustrating. I'm sure we haven't heard the last from the families on this. JMO
Not to mention the witness description of the man who was about 6'5". SMH
