Did they say the hair found from Alexis was hair extensions? I would think it would need to be her actual hair to have DNA.

No sign of his DNA in her car. That doesn't sound good for the case.

Maybe a WSer here with experience in wearing the type of hair extensions Alexis wore (if known) can share with us how difficult/easy it is to have hair extensions forcibly removed?

That would be hard to say, she had a hair appointment , I think it would be best that Le to get the hair dresser to say the style and etc.

It is very likely that hair extensions would pull out some or all of the hair it is attached to... Just like rubber bands, barrettes and clips do.

Ugh, I hate the tid bits we're getting. But glad we're hearing something! You just can't wrap up a few hours of testimony in a few sentences. It doesn't give the whole picture. *sigh* With Alexis's fingernail found, I pray every inch of Taylor was photographed for scratches, bite marks, bruises, etc.

And at least the part about his shirt was cleared up. Search warrant was for cellphone, so they couldn't legally get the shirt at that point, I don't think. So they came back with another warrant to gather more evidence.

So far, key evidence that I wish LE had....but doesn't:
1) His DNA in HER car.
2) Any of her blood or hair or DNA in HISvehicle.

Physical Evidence that the prosecution DOES HAVE that is important:
1) His DNA under her fingernails.
2) Her blood, hair, etc. on his T-shirt.
3) Her cellphone stopping in the general vicinity of his trailer.

Circumstantial Evidence that could further help:
1) Him showing up at Applebee's 30 minutes after video showing her car was planted at Carmike. So he's in two separate places 1 day apart where her car was. Mathematically, like 1 in 100,000 chance of that by chance.
2) Getting a cab to 3 miles from the house then walking. (acting guilty)
3) Lying to LE, repeatedly. The web of lies will show his words mean nothing.
4) Viewed by Liberty clerk to have left at same time together in spearate cars.

Is there any chance there is any more physical evidence coming from the prosecutor or is that it?

COURT UPDATE: A FBI Forensic Analyst took the stand and confirmed Alexis Murphy's DNA was found on a ripped off nail, hair, false eyelashes, and blood on Randy Taylor's t-shirt. All items were found in Taylor's camper. Knives, rope, duct tape, and 11 pornographic videos were also seized for evidence.

They also have her artificial lashes from his pillowcase and the diamond from under the bed. All found with her DNA on the items He probably wore those booties that mechanics wear and gloves... When inside her car.

Investigators said this is the same t-shirt, a Miller Lite t-shirt with the Georgetown logo, that Randy Taylor is seen wearing in surveillance video from the Liberty Gas Station on August 3rd.
