Just that stand up interview with the guy in the purple shirt who had a hard time believing he was capable of such atrocious acts. During the second interview he went into some detail about the perp's social habits that confirms what the Barefoot timeline depicts with the women the night of the 13th. I'm sure a link was posted of both interviews, sorry for not looking for it, just now. Hope that helps a bit. Oh, the guy in the purple shirt specifically stated that the perp didn't engage in lots of convo, but he was touchy feelly, liked picking people up, that kind of thing.

Yes, the incident with those women the night Hannah disappeared are the only ones reported as far as I have seen.

I can't find the right link, but from what I remember the reported sighting at WLU was reported by media first on the 15th. It was said the sighting took place 2 weeks prior. So about 1st or 2nd. The tip was called in "several days later" (after the sighting). IMO, the tip went unreported by media until after HG went missing. My hinky meter goes off because I don't think anyone unknown to JM would recognize him as sketch guy. My opinion is either it was just a false sighting (which would be highly coincidental given there were no reported sighting in 5 yrs) or SOMEBODY knew JM was sketch guy and knew he was out in the prowl.

OR, if the sighting was called in anonymously, the caller may have been JLM himself to take the heat off of Charlottesville where he was planning his next abduction.

Also was reported he helped save a girl from being trampled upon by picking her up and putting her over his shoulder. IMO, this was his thing. He probably got a lot of praise for that and figured people like it when he does it so he continued to do it throughout his adulthood.

Basically because we do not know where he was in the few days post Hannah's disappearance. So I was speculating that perhaps he kept going south on country roads to Lexington, after he was threw with Hannah. That perhaps he was familiar with the area or knew someone down there. Then I also began wondering if perhaps the "siting" could have been a victim of JLM's groping hands...or worse...perhaps she didn't want to report an assault (if it where a she), but the more and more she thought about it he reminded her of the sketch,so that nagged her, and she wanted to do something to protect someone else.

Who knows...but that was why I was thinking that way.

Imo, Charlie Chan, it was ACPD/LE that advised the vacant property owner and others to remain silent; refuse media interviews.

Another source with whom I have spoken just this morning, confirms that on Sunday October 5, a long-time resident of Albemarle County drove by this residence and noticed an unusual flurry of buzzards behind the home.
Earlier the following morning, Monday October 6, this same man stopped his car at this residence and looked around. The buzzards had gone. This man knew the home to be a rental that was not currently lived in.
He walked the property, but only briefly since he felt odd that he was trespassing. He got back in his car and left.
Later that same morning, at exactly 9:45am October 6, he called the tip line, reported the address— 3193 Old Lynchburg Road— and said he’d noticed the buzzards. He also reported that he was concerned the property had not yet been adequately searched since the home was not currently lived in.

Albemarle County Tax Records list the property owner as Phyllis Campbell, who is noted as residing just a few miles to the south on Plank Road.
I called her home this morning. When I informed the woman who answered that I was a reporter, calling to ask about 3193 Old Lynchburg Road, she kindly replied, “We were told not to talk to the media about this.”
“Were you asked not to do this by the Albemarle County Police?” I asked.
“I’m not allowed to say,” she replied.
“Is this because it’s where they found the remains of the missing girl?”
“I’m really not supposed to say,” she answered. “We’re not allowed to talk about it.” I thanked her for her time and said goodbye.

Possibly, but wouldn't it be better to not just say anything at all. I don't know if it would take heat off of Cville, I think it would put all local college towns on alert if anything. I also tend to think there was/is someone who knows what his double life was, as even as far back as MH case LE was hinting at this, and it continued with HG case.

Not to quash your hopes and dreams, but what you see on the rims could be brake dust, and anywhere you go in this part of Virginia (within 100 miles or more), you'll be in red clay.

I would like to think that they could tell whether he'd been in that driveway, but afraid I just don't have much confidence that they can. Shall we keep our fingers crossed? Maybe there is some rare limestone deposit in the area or something, anything, that would make that dirt different than your average, everyday red clay.

I believe Foxfire brought up earlier that JM was traveling on a spare tire and that would be easy to see in tire imprints at the sight. I thought that was an excellent observation.

Footprints in the damp soil near the creek? Vegetation caught in the dreds? Soil in the treads on the bottoms of his shoes?

DNA on Hannah's clothes? I wish we knew which pieces of clothing they might have found besides the pants. Surely there was more than just the pants. Where are her undergarments and socks and shoes? Did she have pierced ears, and if so, did they find her earrings?
