Yes, they know 1 knows that, but that doesn't mean they know that 2 people were involved. I think that's just more LE lingo to throw people off and in hopes if someone else does know something about it that they will talk. Recently, I've taken what they say with a grain of salt, they lie and fabricate the truth all the time in an effort to achieve whatever it is they have in mind at the time. IMO I am not trying to bash LE and I am thankful for all that they do please don't misunderstand me.

I agree and don't think it's bashing. There is strategy behind everything do or do not tell the public. JM is in prison and is not watching these (or maybe he is??), I think their target audience is ??persons unknown

but it could be also as you say

:dunno:

This program C-ville Insider was a few days ago, but describes the search, how aerial photography is being processed and the nature of the changes in the search as it transitions to a new phase:

Also don't miss the CI program with the psychologist and attorney/prosecutor about sexual assaults and sexual offenders. All are very enlightening.

Does anyone know if there's a link to the search update this afternoon?

Thanks.

Searching for his clothes too. That's interesting and if there were a doubt of involvement that pretty much shuts that down. Have they had a presser today from the search?

JM's missing clothing has to do with the search, Imo.

I know, and it can....I just worry!

One way it can is - does this mean it's time for a landfill search? Has anyone ever heard if they've done that/considered that? How easy is it to dump your clothing in a dumpster at 4 am, particularly a wayside on a deserted road?

Just have one question about that

We now know that WG was found to be doing nothing wrong , he went to LE etc.
But in the video , it didn't look so innocent
I wonder what FBI thought of that and at any time did he appear to them as a preditor or stocker?

FWIW, LE also initially said they had ruled out "the man with dreadlocks," but were looking for this other man with close shaved head. Just keep that in mind when looking at who LE is publicly stating they have "ruled out."

Hmmm, interesting

But how do they know Hannah's clothing isn't with Hannah

My guess is that they are looking for Hannah's clothing just in case some of the items were disposed of elsewhere, like MH"s shirt was, separate from where she was left. The same with Hannah's phone. LE is on the watch for such clothing items and any phones that are found, so that in the event they are Hannah's, they can be picked up . A little late to make this a public appeal , but if anyone finds any women's clothing, a cell phone lying around somewhere, those are some things LE has on their search list. Just in case they are not with Hannah. If Hannah's clothing and phone are with Hannah, clearly those items will not be found until Hannah is found, but if they are not, LE still wants to find them, and they are part of the search objectives.

Apparently the search of JM's apartment and car did not yield the checked shirt he was seen wearing the morning he was with Hannah. Not surprising as JM was in the middle of a move right at that time. The shirt could have been pitched, the shirt could be at his mother or other relative's place or with his other belongings that were already moved out. For all we know he could have stashed some of his things with friends. When my kids have moved some of their things back home with us, they don't always have all of it sitting here,. They may have other boxes or suitcases with some other people for any number of reasons. The appeal could be for anyone holding any of JM's belongings right now or maybe just the shirt he may have left at someone's place. Or if anyone finds an extra large checkered shirt somewhere. LE wants that shirt is searching for these items of Hannah. IMO, LE is interested in any of JM's belongings that they have not already examined.

They are not all necessarily with Hannah, but it is also possible that they are.

I just hate the fact that he was able to run before all of this came about. Her clothes and cell phone could be in TX by now, however I feel he discarded them before that considering they searched his apartment. He probably discarded everything when he saw his own self in the news on that mall footage.

May I ask this...if they don't have his clothes and they are searching for hers what did they find that has the dna connection in his apartment?? LE hasn't said anything about searching for her watch, wasn't she wearing one that night?

Wow.

For some reason, LE not being able to find JM's clothing speaks volumes. Please let them find Hannah soon.

Not really.. That JM was in the midst of a move makes it not so surprising that LE did not find it in his car or his apartment. If he went to his dad's, mom's, sister's, grandmom's homes and left the pieces there, I doubt they will offer them up at this point in time. They likely have some of his belongings. Though JM was moving out of his apt, no info was given that I read as to where he was going to be livng and was living that week.

Except that his grandmother stated she recognized him because he's always wearing those stupid shorts.

I don't think he's one who can afford too much clothing. I suspect those were his "regular" clothes, and would have been with him in Texas if not in the apartment. The shirt he wore on video in Texas didn't seem to fit.

All IMO.

ETA: And, all off topic for the search... :(

Where do i put this??

I would help LE in any way I could
If they were searching for my clothing, I would give it to them

Unless I was trying to hide something

This is why it is so, so important for his family, close friends and co-workers to speak with LE if they haven't already. ANY information about his movements between the night Hannah went missing, the day LE released the videos and the day his car and house were searched could prove invaluable in discovering, if nothing else, additional evidence (like his clothing, Hannah's phone, evidence related to other crimes, etc.).

Fascinating! Because a poster woke up with the term Iron Forge on her/his mind. Those are the only towns I could think of that would relate.

And as an aside, LE today asked to see my ID at a dumpster and asked if I'd seen anything suspicious. I've never had that happen before.

I was born and raised in the small town of Iron Gate, right outside of Clifton Forge!

One must go right over North Mtn to reach CF or IF!

We don't know. They may have found some other clothes or items. They certainly would have found evidence that Hannah was in his car, or they should have, since Hannah was in his car. We haven't gotten word on what they did get other than some big bags of things that they consider evidence, and oh, JM's phone and his car. Both of those things are being held as evidence.

Even before JM was given that swab for DNA samples, LE had a pretty good idea of what his DNA profle was from the items they got of his from the car and the apartment, and from the car and apartment. The items LE has said they are searching for are things that stand out as missing to them. They may or may not be with Hannah.

In many such cases, family and close friends will refuse to give much or any info and not give up any items they may have or know where they might be. So LE has to search for them.

Iron Gate is not far from another community called Clifton Forge.

A dimly remembered dream from a week or so ago ended with someone in the dream telling me "We found her she's behind the rainbow" or maybe "beside the rainbow".

When I looked up the directions from Iron Gate to Clifton Forge just now, about halfway between the two is something labeled "Rainbow Gap"

But if LE is specifically searching for something and ask for it, and you refuse to give it or act as if you don't have it... is that not breaking the law?

anyway, my guess would be disposed of, not given to someone
