Good questions and observations!
I live in Cville and am not sure what to think.

I have looked at the video from the Downtown Mall and was convinced there were signs of coordination (and not only from the WG.)

But I also think there are some remarkable coincidences re: the MH case.

One thing I am very interested in the involvement of the FBI from a very early stage in this case.

At the press conference in Cville that Longo had announcing JM's capture in TX, the Special Agent in Charge of the Richmond FBI office spoke about efforts of the Galveston Sheriff's office.

I noticed that this same FBI SAG was present at the Thursday afternoon extradition hearing for JM held in Galveston.

How normal is it for a SAG in charge of a large FBI office to attend an extradition hearing for someone who is a suspect of one felony?

I think that LE has serious concerns that this is about something much, much larger.

I wonder if there is any chance that JM had access to a storage facility. IIRC he and his roommates were poised to move soon and it seems like the roommates booked it out of there and left some stuff behind...or had they already moved it or stored it? I am sure it was one of the first things LE thought of though.

Just my opinion, but I don't think JM's initial plan for that Saturday evening was to kill someone. My guess is he was looking for someone to have consensual sex with and thought he had found that someone when he stumbled upon an obviously-impaired Hannah. Perhaps she didn't put up enough resistance early on, as she seemed to be with him willingly for a while. I believe she got in his car, perhaps willingly, and he took her somewhere, or maybe even in the car, and he made his move and she resisted. At that point, I believe he became enraged and decided to take what he wanted, and probably killed her immediately after or just before, either accidentally or, more likely, as a continuation of his rage that she put up a fight. What I am getting at with all this is, I doubt he had a tarp or shovel or any such items in his car with him, so he probably just took her somewhere remote that he was familiar with and dumped her. My guess is that if and when she is found, (and I pray she is), she will be within a few yards of a road and minimally covered by brush or the like, but probably not buried. As always, this is all just my opinion.

I agree that he probably didn't start out the night looking for someone to kill. I don't think he necessarily was looking for someone to rape - but only because after reading of his creepy and obnoxious behavior with other women that night, HIS definition of 'consensual' isn't the same as most of us.

There's been heavy helicopter activity all along Fort Lewis Mountain for over an hour now. I've been watching it from my front yard. Does anyone know if this has anything to do with the search for HG ?

Oh, I absolutely agree with you on that.

JM, if he is a serial killer, let his guard down that night, at first. What he did after leaving Tempo with Hannah Graham, predator adrenaline coursing through him? He would've gone into automatically covering his tracks. From there on, he's know to avoid cameras and witnesses. Maybe he would've needed sleep, to crash himself and recover from the high, before he went into some kind of calm routine for hiding Hannah Graham, methodically. So where was he Sunday?

Where was he Monday? Tuesday, he'd be in full covering his tracks mode, relieved the description didn't fit him, but on the security cam footage made public by Wednesday? By Friday, a suspect, very knowledgeable of what the police can and can't do to him, shows up to lawyer up. Successfully, gets away, drives to niches off the beaten track, to ultimately reach, I guess, where he would blend in... Or was it a winging it, desperate, end of the line run, without a plan?

Also, Saturday? Any word on the car such as dirt, mud?

If you are in Albemarle county, they issued a statement earlier they would have helicopters out all day, not to be alarmed.

Bingo. I agree with you, and I was getting on this thread to say something similar. He's not a planner. He is impulsive. He also seems like he would do something the easiest way possible. Hidden in plain sight would be his modus operandi. Have they dredged the river?

I agree. Plus don't they have any phone pings to locate him that night?

I am also in agreement. I don't think he planned this. He supposedly likes to fish and does that as a rec activity. I think some of his favorite fishing areas should be visited. Soil samples taken to match what was found on his car and the water areas checked.

To precious Hannah and her parents... many prayers.
I hope LE and searchers find her today. Hannah dererves to be found
and her parents nightmare deserves some tiny piece of closure.

JM needs to talk, today and tell where Hannah is.
Where did his cell ping that night after leaving with Hannah?

Just thinking of the week between her disappearance and the search of JLM's car.

Did JLM have a routine? We know from a member's post here that he was supposed to be at a football practice Saturday morning. Did he miss that? Did he miss any work shifts during that week? Did he borrow money or vehicles, something that wouldn't stand out so much as his beat-up orange car (or did he rent or borrow a van or truck)?

Was he seen on video at any stores and if so, what did he buy? Was it stuff that could either assist him in disposing of evidence or Hannah, or things he would need while on the run? Did he instead borrow these items from friends or family? Were there any reports of thefts of these types of items in or around Charlottesville?

Was the tent they found him with in Texas actually a tent or a makeshift one (like a tarp)? Was he seen at all on video or by witnesses during his 2 day, 1300 mile drive to Texas? IF they are able to plot his course to Texas, were there any reports of thefts of items that would have helped him hide out?

Thinking about him getting a driver's license on Friday. Had he been planning all week to run away? Had he returned to where he dumped Hannah and moved her to a more secure and hidden area, losing his license along the way? His interactions with his landlady, wanting to settle bills, did he reach out to anyone else he owed money or returned items he'd borrowed or gave away any of his possessions? Did he request time off from work or otherwise call in that he was going to miss any shifts? In other words, any clues he may have been planning on going away?

Can take a stab at the first set of questions. He did NOT go the the Saturday football practice. He did not go to work last week and was suspended without pay mid-week. The car that he took to Texas is reported to be his sister's. His car is still being held by the CPD.

Something interesting to consider are the supplies that he took with him to TX. It has been reported that he had quite a lot of them. Where did he get them and how did he pay for them? Did he have enough money to finance his trip to TX, or did someone loan/give him the money? I am sure LE is looking into these questions-- but we may not know the answers for until trial, if then.

"While Charlottesville police chief Timothy Longo has encouraged residents of his city of 40,000 and beyond to be aware of any sign of Graham, the team directed by Eggeman brings special skills in its search for her. They are trained, for instance, to detect signs of human movement.

“You’re looking for signs of passage, you’re looking for the very subtle things that most people who are not trained to do this will walk right past,” Eggeman said.

The team includes volunteers often called in by the state to look for lost hunters or wayward elders. Others taking part include members of the Albemarle County sheriff’s office. The searchers number about 20 and include about half as many canine units."

I've not seen it reported about him being missing from football practice, but there have been interviews or reports from his co-workers that he seemed subdued or distracted during that week. To be clear, I'm talking about the week between the time he met up with Hannah and when police impounded his car. Before we ever knew he existed.

Is this to say they are looking into the possibility she may have been dumped alive?

I have been hoping that other victims of JM's pick up routine will step up. Some of them may have gone for the ride and can give details on where he likes to go. The same with anyone who hangs around JM. Has he mentioned secluded places that he liked to take his "conquests"?

I wish but I think it means they are just looking for clues whether someone walked into a certain area. You can track the direction someone might have gone by broken branches, bent grass, etc.

I am not so sure that he is 'cool' as much as he appears 'clueless'. Psychopathy embraces a wide range of affect; he may have repeated head trauma and that alone would acerbate the learning disabilities noted in his youth. Also, alcohol would enhance an aggressive response. All three dynamics were present that night in terms of the suspect. We really know very little about any of this.

What were his work hours? I read somewhere on here that co-workers said he kept to himself after that weekend, and ate lunch by himself.......no link, can't remember where I saw it. So, I think he went to work all week. The police surrounded his apartment the following Friday, and I think they saw him home in the morning, but he did leave. Did he go to work at the hospital? Police did not have the search warrants signed at the time they saw him so they waited and searched when they got approval. Obviously he did not take HIS car, so I am guessing that one of the other men who were supposedly in his apartment, gave him a ride to work, or somewhere. JMO
