I feel the same about the Red Star and the Mop and Pail. But we have to quote/link to MSM.I wouldn't trust a word printed in the Sun actually.

But wasn't Kavanagh on this case BEFORE it was suggested to be Organized Auto Theft I thought at first they assumed it was a random theft by two guys, one with tattoo and one with hoodie??
Kavanagh's job in Hamilton's PD is described as 'case manager' in a homicide unit. The Bosma investigation was assigned to the homicide unit from the start, even before the body was found.
Best,
J.

Det-Sgt Kavanagh was part of the task force that looked after vehicle thefts, now called BEAR for the Hamilton Police Services. This was BEFORE he moved to the homicide unit. (I think he was in homicide, then went to property crimes and was a part of setting up BEAR and then back to homicide, but I'm not sure until I find the links again, if possible.
I'll have to find that picture of the wood chipper that was in the hangar, but this sounds quite a lot like the same one, same manufacturer and size based on the value of the one that was stolen from Oakville in January 2012. Serial number is likely long gone off the one in the hangar.

and here's the one in the hangar in the background of this picture... sure looks like a black chute from here anyway.

and here's a more traditional model paint job:

I think you will find it in this thread (post 142 )

Thanks for the link. I didn't realize there was all that talk going on in the other thread. I'll see if I can find more photos of "stuff" in the hangar.
Yeah, I'm not sure why it's in that thread at all, it may have spun off because some people originally wondered if the wood chipper was used in 'remains' disposal a la Fargo. (I find it really unlikely, but the theft lead seems solid.)

Not sure how to link some of these pictures, but there are a few showing a 2 door silver Austin Mini with a black top, and some large shipping crates, like you would fit a large transmission in, or something similar size to that inside.
lanman mentioned this in another thread:
Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - Hamilton PD: "One Set of Human Remains"
...although it should probably be moved to this one anyway.
Edit: I wonder if lanman (or anyone) has tipped police about this.
Funny you should mention that car. Just today I was reading some posts made on various forums by DM's mechanic (don't think I'm allowed to link) and he mentioned his boss's various vehicles/projects including a Mini Cooper. I hadn't ever seen it in any photos. He also wrote about ordering parts online including transmissions and turbos (might explain the crates you saw).

Thanks for all the photo links axe2grind.
According to DM's mechanic in 2011, DM's budget for the Cobra project was about $100,000! And yet he had to take what belonged to TB (and take his life in the process)?!?
Would you be so good and send the link to the source of this info ? Much obliged.
J.
Spin the theories if you will, and for some, proclaim the absurdity of it, but it has happened. Sadly, I have a feeling that the full justice will never be served in this case.
Thanks. I've updated the link and added two additional ones. This link was removed.
