I've always watered my grass in the early evening, not midday. Again IDK.

My mom and dad are both retired, and my dad spends a lot of time in the front yard supposedly gardening/watering, when really he's just being nosy. He'll sit on the porch drinking coffee, gossiping with the neighbors and keeping an eye on what's going on in general.

Maybe Mr. C is the same way - he didn't want to admit he was a nosy neighbor, so he explained his presence outdoors by saying he was watering the yard. JMO

I am sorry you find my posts asking for links to be me "challenging" you. I do not mean to challenge you (ie be argumentative or combative). To me means there is varying levels of cooperation from family and friends, some more than others, we feel strongly that someone within or associated with the family knows more than they are saying.

Challenge people's theories and ideas all you want; that is the nature of a discussion board. As long as a poster attacks the info in the post and not another poster, its all fair game. Misty said she and the girls have been doing a lot of swimming at lakes. I'm wondering if the girls met some perp at one of these events at a lake elsewhere or campground and was friendly with them giving the perp too much info on where they live, etc.

:-( Yes, and EC's Mom made a big point of how friendly she is to everyone. She probably was super- trusting too, despite the " stranger danger talks"

For a start off, a meeting? He had already been interrogated and walked out of a lie detector test. I have zero doubt LE asked for everyones phones on day one.

A later "meeting" (no doubt with lawyer in tow) implies that it was something that had to be revisited...which in turn implies that LE did NOT GET THE PHONE when they first requested it.

The language says it all.

Why would the father of a missing child NOT give LE absolutely everything the second they ask for it?

Sexual reasons????!!!! These are little girls, 8 and 10 years old!!! Why on earth would kids that age be thinking of sex??!!! Maybe I'm way behind times but I don't think many kids are into sex at that age, they're kids, not teenagers!! I would hate to be the mother of one of them and read suggestions that they were meeting boys at the lake... no offense to you or anyone else but it is not too likely that they were into sex yet, IMO.

I agree, but I believe the OP was referring to the potential perp's motivations for disappearing the girls. At least that is how I read it.

Absolutely, it's not about who guesses correctly, because that's really all it is at this point - just guesses masquerading as theories. Some good, some not so good IMO, but all just guesses right now.

Just clarifying ... I was asking a WS member if they thought the two girls were taken for sexual purposes not that the two girls were into sex. Goodness, no post of mine ever pointed to or suggested that the two girls were looking for sex or into sex.

Heather didn't even know they were going to the lake, I posted some of her interview to Shep and she was under the impression they would only go about a block away. Sometimes a little further, but not to the lake. GMa apparently didn't know either, when Tammy said it on JP's show.

I don't believe either GrandMa or Heather knew Lizzie and/or the neighbor girls may have gone to the lake in the past, but it appears that both Misty and Tammy knew Lizzie did "at one time." "One time."

Thank you thank you..I have thought this from the beginning.. be it planned by
a certain somebody or a random act. I do believe these girls or at least one of them was groomed for this.. Seeing the same person almost daily, someone who was impressed with every little thing she did..

When I came into this case, one of the very first things I remember reading about was LE wanting to ask DM about several numbers on his phone. I don't know if they knew who they belonged to or not, but either they had his phone from day one or they had reviewed his cell records. I'm also not that savvy on tracking cell phones, etc., but it could be numbers called to a bat phone and after LE tried calling them it was useless. Getting him to give the names of people would be much easier than LE trying to track those, imo.
