Wondered what that was about, had assumed it was in response to something someone posted, but they did not know how to use the reply function! Hmm, too late to edit my welcome post.
That’s okay! Haha it is a little funny this person specifically targeting web sleuths to advertise for their “essay” writing. More funny however is they can’t seem to write! Truth be told, I can’t either ;)

I took it as a personal insult earlier on. I thought my writing must be really bad due to the amount of medication I’m on.

Oh no. Not at all. Your posts are always eloquent and wonderful. This person was doing some super super weird niche marketing. I also don’t think they speak English very well.

Memorial Ride and Drive to highlight other missing, unsolved

issing persons cases and unsolved homicides — some going back more three decades — will be highlighted Saturday as the community turns out to remember two young cousins whose killer has evaded justice for six years.

The Memorial Ride and Drive for Lyric and Elizabeth marks the disappearance of cousins Lyric Cook-Morrissey and Elizabeth Collins. The two young cousins disappeared July 13, 2012, while riding their bikes in Evansdale, and their bodies were found months later in another county. No arrests have been made.

It’s infuriating knowing the monster is free somewhere after what he has done.

But Elizabeth’s parents, Drew and Heather Collins, said they wanted this year’s ride to help other families suffering as they have.

“Today’s about bringing awareness about our case and other cases in the area,” Drew Collins said. “A lot of folks feel that after a couple of years that they’ve been forgotten. They are not forgotten. The police haven’t forgotten. We haven’t forgotten.”

Heather Collins said the ride, coming just a day after the anniversary of her daughter’s disappearance, provides some measure of comfort.

“Today is hard too, but you have your whole community supporting you,” she said. “You try to get through it the best you can and you know that everybody’s here for you.”

Ride remembers Evansdale cousins, other unsolved cases

I really feel for all the families in this terrible situation.

I just heard about Mollie Tibbetts who's been missing from Brooklyn Iowa since July 19 (six years and six days since the day Lyric and Lizzy disappeared). Brooklyn is close to a direct shot 60 miles south of Evansdale. I haven't read all of Mollie's thread, yet. Has anyone here that's familiar with both cases seen any connections between the two? There are obvious differences, of course.

Going to check out that thread now.

Personally I don’t think they are related in anyway. There is a huge difference in age between Elizabeth and Lyric and Mollie who is 20.

I agree that it is unlikely that the two are related, but it's always possible. IMO, we can't determine at this time if the age of Lyric and Lizzy was important to their killer or not. We don't know if he has a "type" or not based only on him taking Lyric and Lizzy who were together at the time of their abduction.
