If Mollie had been abducted close to her mom's house and the high school, the abductor wouldn't have taken her back south through the inner part of Brooklyn to drive to Guernsey. He would have headed north of Brooklyn. Her digital footprint is south of Brooklyn, so she likely wasn't abducted near that more desolate area near the high school on rt 398.

Problem is that it doesn't include R. Thompson' witness statement which seemed to indicate she headed east on W Des Moines St, then turned either north or south on Jackson St.

I personally discount that statement. There are eyewitness NH that put her on Pershing. I think he saw her, just not on the 18th. Just my opinion.
Edited to fix FB reference
And I hope I am understanding the rules correctly, we can reference her personal FB but can't link comments?

It would be very easy for both to be true.

If there is a tip at the high school, was that video or digital?
Agreed, he would have taken the North route to Highway 21 and headed straight to the Guernsey farms.

Then what? What did he do next? Did he leave Mollie near the farms, or was the digital signature a ruse to throw investigators off the trail?

Black SUV in some? How many?
Three with black SUV or Van, but if you watch the video, the Miner Sheriff thinks he may use different vehicles.

Man tries to abduct young female in Miner, MO, still at large
Police said a young female was running down David Lane when a man in a black van pulled up, and told her to get in and started cursing at her.
"He has what appears to be a white beard or a white goatee," said Griggs. "He does have tattoos on his arms. He weighs about 300 pounds according to the victim. He is wearing suspenders and a blue shirt underneath that with a straw hat."

Suspicious black SUV circled neighborhood on night Mollie Tibbetts vanished, neighbor says
A black SUV was seen circling the Iowa neighborhood where Mollie Tibbetts was staying on the night she vanished, a neighbor revealed to Fox News on Sunday, in what could be a new clue to the college student's disappearance.
Between 11:30 p.m. and 1 a.m., the woman said she observed the suspicious vehicle. She told Fox News that she reported it to the FBI when she was questioned.

Ankeny police seek man who allegedly approached, chased girl
Black SUV approached and chased a young girl.
A white male with a mustache and beard was driving a black SUV, with black wheel rims, when he approached the girl. He got out of the vehicle and walked toward the girl.

How could it be? According to him she was going east. He said in his statement that after he saw her she either had to go North or South. Jackson runs North and South. Had she been heading West, I don't see why he would have made that statement.

Here's the route I think she took based on sightings.
The only sightings we know of based on MSM, her personal FB page and the sheriff's FB page show this route. The last sighting is between D and E (on 2nd) so the rest of the route is just what I think was planned. I think it's very telling that no one claims (publicly) to have seen her at any point after 2nd Street and per MSM, LE specifically obtained surveillance video from Casey's.
The second pic is the route I think someone would have taken had she been abducted at point B (shortly after her last sighting). That block of 2nd has no houses if you look at street view. If you continue on old 6 you run straight into 21. (The red arrow is just an alternate route if they didn't want to take a more populated street although Napa closed at 5 and Seaton's grocery store closed at 8 so not a very busy area at that time.)
Can you help me with the 2nd Street sighting? I've been trying to figure out where that came from and I would sure appreciate it.

I am behind, again, when it comes to posts. (pg 11 this thread). I just read a news article
Suspicious black SUV circled neighborhood on night Mollie Tibbetts vanished, neighbor says

In this article a female neighbor said she "told the FBI when interviewed"

The FBI didn't get there for 6 long days. My question- did she tell the SHERIFF Dept as soon as she saw/heard Mollie was missing?

I am absolutely stunned to hear of any vehicle - and there are only so many ways in and out of that Brooklyn, shouldn't there be cameras positioned to figure out who that was?

And with all of the notoriety of Interstate 80 and the proximity of Brooklyn to that roadway wouldn't they have qualified for camera grants from either DEA or Homeland Security? Int. 80 is part of Corridor B for drug trafficking in our country. It is a route used by Drug Cartels per the FBI.

We have been told we are at war to end illegal drugs in our country - a town sitting where truck stops are located with a quick pass through to Hwy 6 -

I am really having a hard time understanding the delay where the FBI would go if this woman had provided this information to LE right away.

I have been wondering for over two weeks now -

Has LE ever searched "CREEKS" and "RIVERS" Are there any navigable Creeks? I am particularly interested in learning if boats or kayaks can travel Cub Creek, Big Bear, and English River? How about riparian buffers which have ATV or vehicle trails? Any Greenway at all which runs through Brooklyn?

If she went east on W. Des Moines, south on Jackson, looped around farther south, she could also come east on W. Pershing to get back on Jackson.

Thank you for asking. I thought I had just missed it, but maybe it's something that never got posted. we can only copy 10% of an article, so a lot of things probably get missed on here. MOO

There was an earlier news story that they had kayakers in the creeks at the north and south ends of town. That would be Big Bear Creek and Little Bear Creek, respectively.

So, assuming that she was abducted during her run, probably close to her mom's house, the person that abducted her apparently took her South on Highway 21 towards Guernsey.

The last "ping" from her Fitbit may have been at a time when her Fitbit and Cellphone were separated, or perhaps when her sim card was separated from her phone.

What if this predator has made a point of becoming a tech specialist who can use tech as an advantage. What if this predator knows to ditch the SIM card near the home of a stalker, thereby buying loads of time between abduction and body discovery.
