I have been searching this morning and it seems Poweshiek County jail does not have an online inmate roster available. They do however use the VINE system but you need to have a specific offenders first and last name available to run a search on that.

Other details about this jail included online through multiple searches show it was constructed in 1913 (renovated in 2001). It is located in Montezuma Indiana. The Poweshiek sherrifs office does post arrest statistics on it’s site as well as inmate statistics.

I would imagine if they do have an arrest it is very quiet and they probably haven’t officially charged someone yet to avoid press being able to search records and figure it out before the press conference.

Are their county court dockets available online?
Perhaps no females are giving interviews because they're all in jail... There are 10 females in the Poweshiek County Jail right now!! And a large portion of them are smiling in their mugshots. Two Females arrested yesterday and prior to that, the last arrest was August 3rd.

FYI: To access the Poweshiek County Jail inmates you can use the MobilePatrol App and it will show you all inmates currently held there with their mugshots if you choose the jail. :)

Very interested to see everyone’s thoughts on the presser being rescheduled. I’m hoping they’re onto something big and don’t want to give anything away.

Have there been other cases where this has happened back to back? What ended up being the reason?
I think they have nothing more than they had the last time. My heart is set on stranger abduction.

Well I think we are at the point with the restrictions on what can be said the thread will just go in circles. Can’t really say anything about any of the main characters. What we do know is MT is missing. Somehow. She went for a run. There are no POI according to LE. So everyone is off limits.

You’ll be disappointed. WC isn’t there and there’s nothing going on. Stop in Iowa City for Zombie Burger, that’s better than Casey’s Pizza.

Mmmmmm Zombie Burger.

If someone were arrested of this importance I kinda think he/she would not get a room at a small county jail. Big City, state or federal. Depends.

What time did the witness say they sad her Des Moines? Do you happen to know? It’s throwing me off when trying to figure out her route.

I don't, unfortunately. Unless all of the witnesses looked at a clock right when they saw her, I'm not sure how accurate the timeline is. 10-15 minutes can make a big difference.

I understand there are no passenger trains. But the train track that runs through there is Iowa Interstate Railroad or IAIS it is active. The idea is if one can get the times it went through maybe they seen something or maybe they didn't and she got hit.

So on the fence about the postponed PC.
Part of my head says they have something big and are tying up loose ends.
Part of my head says they have nothing to report and are keeping the press away with a promise of a PC

Hoping for the first

If she was taken, why did she not attempt to dial 911? It would of taken only a second to dial while running away...

Unless it was someone she knew and trusted, I find a hit and run scenario more likely...

The suspect probably panicked after the hit and run and hide the body somewhere.

Also the fact that noone has "snitched" for the reward money leads me to believe there's only 1 suspect involved. I fear this may stay a cold case unless the suspect confesses from guilt.

Abductionsa and assaults typically happen fast and without warning. The victim is shocked and simply trying to process what's happening and flee, or trying to fight off the attacker.

It would be almost impossible to have the opportunity and wherewithal to calmly punch in 911 as you're being attacked.

That's really not logical, IMO.

Make sure to grab a piece of Casey's pizza, it's the best!

Epic first post on my part....

Ha ha! Welcome! It was epic!!

This is the best map I've seen so far. Good work - I'm glad someone finally did this I've been doing it in my mind but hadn't actually created a map.

-What source is the 'towards the funeral home' coming from? - I keep failing to find where that is coming from.
-Also what are your thoughts on LE telling DC that MT ran by her house even though he didn't see her? "she jogged past his home that evening and made it home from the run safely" is what supposedly LE told him. He's on West but it is unclear whether she jogged by his home on the way out (which would make sense with the W Pershing sighting) or the way home (which wouldn't necessarily make sense).
After looking back the only thing I can find are quotes on WS. Hopefully someone else can help with this. I had thought it came from eye witness NH who lives on W. Pershing and I thought he had said he saw her running past going towards the funeral home - but I can't find a MSM link for that.

I had forgot about DC. I added that location to the map. I didn't find the quote that said it was on her way home. That would be good info to have, is there any source for that?

I wonder if they will drain/search the manure tank? Or if there is one? I live in a neighboring state and have family members with hog farms. Newer environmental regulations mandated they install underground septic tank type things to put manure in, and then a guy has to come pump it all out routinely (similar to how a port-a-potty works). Not to be graphic, but tooth/bone fragments could maybe be found.

Not feeling good about any of this-especially the postponed pc. I've watched press conferences at midnight-when LE has something to say, they will alert the media and do it quickly. Something's changed.
