You mean you don't think there's any chance it could have been the perp or you do? Sorry, can't figure out what you mean, exactly

We don't know if the "cop" was legit and/or if the "cop's" story of a "missing child wearing a pink coat" was legit. Could be it was a valid incident and has no relevance to the issue at hand or it could have been one of many other but not-worth-mentioning incidents that happened to MT during the past year that could lead to a scenario of infatuation/abduction. Far-fetched but possible.

I wonder if there actually was a child missing with that description at that time.
This is what I've been wondering. If it were real I would think there would have been an Amber Alert...

(Snipped not bolded cuz I'm on my phone and apparently that's too hard for me )

Exactly

To Marie A. I also feel this was a crime of opportunity, a random perp, not someone known to Mollie. However not that Mollie necessarily got into a vehicle voluntarily....I think she may have been snatched, forced....threatened with a weapon, or incapacitated. It's so horrible.......

Has anyone read the book The Collector by John Fowles? It is one of my favorite books that is written enticingly about a shy/disturbed guy, Frederick who kidnaps a beautiful young college student, Miranda. Chloroform was used on Miranda to capture her while she was walking. He keeps her in a cellar that he prepared meticulously, fully stocked with correct size of her clothing, underwears, books, hobby items, etc. He hopes she will fall in love with him.....

Do we have a Frederick in Marshalltown? (if related to MT case) Marshalltown, Iowa Police seek person of interest | WHO Radio News | WHO Radio
That is terrifying

Just wondering, but are all threads shut down overnight, or just this one because of number of people following? Admittedly, it has been a while since I followed a case as closely as I am this one, but I don't recall any other threads I have ever followed being closed to posting overnight. Is this new, or am I just having a senior moment? Please let today be the day we find Mollie!

I think everyone that works so hard to keep things on track deserves a break.
