ADMIN NOTE:

Take notice folks ... Websleuths will not tolerate disparaging comments about other members.

If you engage in rude personal attacks against another member, you will receive a minimum 1 week Time Out. Depending on the consequences of such attacks, there may be a permanent loss of posting privileges.

ADMIN NOTE:

The true crime community is inundated with discussion of the Daily Mail article about the Reddit posts by Pappa Rodger and InsideLooking possibly having been made by BK. That is still speculation with no confirmation from official sources. As there is a gag order in place, there is no new ‘official’ information for discussion.

Websleuths would not normally allow discussion of any Reddit posts UNLESS the social media account is known to belong to a victim or a POI/suspect. After discussion with Tricia, Websleuths is making a thread specific exception in this instance to allow discussion of those 2 accounts because it is being covered by MSM and our WS approved sources (Jennifer Coffindaffer and Hidden True Crime).

At all times members must remember that, although suspected to be BK, those accounts are NOT CONFIRMED to be made by him and information must be taken with a very large grain of salt.

For example ... the DM article indicates that PR’s posts stopped after BK’s arrest. There is a screenshot in the DM article where a Reddit Admin specifically states the PR account had been removed by Reddit the day before BK’s arrest.

This will give our members something to discuss and speculate about but please remember to take it all with that big grain of salt.

Any questions, please do not ask them on the thread. Just jump off any post to Report and ask and a Mod or Admin will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks !!

ADMIN REMINDERS:

If this keeps up, we're going to need a separate thread just for reminders ;)

WS doesn’t tolerate rudeness. Unless you are a WS verified expert, the opinions of other members are just as valid as yours. If you disagree with an opinion you can either respond respectfully or scroll and roll without comment.

We don’t allow posts promoting fundraising. If we did it for one, we would be expected to do it for all, and with the thousands of threads we have, that’s just not possible.

Oh, and please stop telling others what to do, say, or think. Post respectfully toward other members or Report it if you have an issue.

Thanks !!

ADMIN NOTE:

The only mental health conditions that are now allowed for discussion are those referenced in MSM and other WS approved sources (which includes those mentioned in the unconfirmed accounts of BK himself.)

Otherwise it's like Bartholomew hats with members speculating from A to Z in the DSM.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

Articles that are behind a paywall cannot be direct quoted. To do so is a copyright infringement and a violation of WS Copyright Rules.

The whole idea of a subscription is that the content be paid for. Members can provide the link for others who may have a subscription, and can either use the short google hit summary or briefly paraphrase what the content refers to.

Just no direct quoting or posting images from the paywalled article itself. There are actually people who get paid to surf the net looking for infringements.

Please report any and all posts that violate copyright law.

MOD REMINDER:

As the weekend approaches, please keep in mind the sensitive nature of this case.

Prior to creating a post, think to yourself the following things: is it important and relevant to this case, does it productively add to the discussion and does it comply with the rules of this site?

We appreciate all new and veteran members joining/participating in the discussion. Taking the time to read the rules of this site helps us tremendously! The link can be found in my signature.

Thanks a ton!

ADMIN REMINDER:

Excerpt from The Rules: Etiquette & Information:

Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. Attacking or bashing a victim is not allowed. Discussing known victim behavior, good or bad is fine, but do so in a civil and constructive way, and only when such behavior is known to be relevant to the case.

We do not victim blame or shame. Unless you can show how the "party house" activity or any other activity by the victims contributed to their vicious murder, the judgmental commentary about their activities is not constructive and is against TOS.

ADMIN NOTE:
Please MOVE ON from (in other words DO NOT RESPOND to):

- posts about HIPAA regarding the info disclosed in MSM from a medical professional.

- posts about child-bearing hips/hips-to-waist ratio/how wide ANYONE’s hips are (especially mine).

THANK YOU for your attention to this 95% serious note.

MOD NOTE:

We are aware of the article released today that focuses on the "incel complex". The discussion topic remains off-limits until/unless @Sillybilly states otherwise. Please do not post the link to the article or discuss its content.

ADMIN NOTE:

Move on from the incel discussion folks. It is strictly speculation not based on any known fact and other members and guests don't come here to read the same discussion/debate over and over again.

Thank you.

ADMIN NOTE:

This post lands at random.

This is an FYI for our members who may not be totally familiar with the WS private messaging feature. That feature, known as "Conversations", is found under the little icon that is right beside your user name near the top right of the page.

While the public discussion threads are well moderated when it comes to what can and cannot be said or sleuthed under TOS, members are able to have their own private messaging group where up to 20 members can be invited to join in. In PMs, members may discuss whatever they wish and sleuth to their heart's content without moderation.

Although TOS stipulates that the same rules apply to PMs as to the public threads, Websleuths Mods and Admins have no way of reading PMs unless a member of a private group uses the Report feature to let us know about something inappropriate (i.e. advertising, harrassment, sexually related messages).

ADMIN NOTE:

It is incumbent upon all members to read the Opening Posts regarding some things that are allowed or disallowed as the discussion has flexed with additional and new information. Those posts must be read in chronological order to know if something has changed.

For example, while the various attempts to diagnose mental health issues remains off limits, discussion of the symptoms claimed by the (unconfirmed) BK in his social media accounts may be discussed. That's not diagnosing, that's just discussing what a major case player had to say about themselves. Just don't try to slot those self-proclaimed symptoms into an actual diagnosis because none of us here knows him in order to properly assess him, nor are we qualified to do so.

Any questions, just jump off any post with the Report feature to ask. Thanks !1

ADMIN NOTE:

Please remember that attempting to diagnose the accused is still not allowed (i.e. psychopathy, sociopathy, schizophrenia, etc).

Members may discuss possible OCD as reported in MSM by relatives, and may discuss the self-reported symptoms (i.e. VSS) contained in the social media accounts purportedly authored by BK, but do NOT try to attribute those self-reported symptoms to any specific condition.

An actual diagnosis can only be made by a qualified specialist who has had an opportunity to assess the accused in person and that has not occurred.

No more reminders. Members who continue to attempt diagnosing will face a minimum 3 day Time Out from the board.

Mod Note for clarification:

The NYTimes is an approved source. The quoted post below explains what is or is not allowed when discussing articles behind a paywall. Keep in mind that THERE ARE NO CIRCUMSTANCES UNDER WHICH YOU ARE ALLOWED TO CIRCUMVENT A PAYWALL IN AN EFFORT TO BRING THE ARTICLE'S CONTENT TO THE THREADS.

Luckily for us, Mike Baker/ NYTimes is providing this article as a freebie today.

Just before the last thread closed, a poster mentioned that Walmart sells a black, Tyvek-type outfit, made by Dickies, which may explain the Walmart receipt and 1 Dickies tag, referenced in the above listed items removed from BK's apartment. I feel the need to follow-up on that comment.

Dickies does make a 1-piece coverall suit in black, and I believe that is sold at Walmart, but it is not like a Tyvek suit in any way. It is not tight-fitting and disposable, and does not cover the head at all. It is basically what one thinks of when you picture an auto mechanic, basically a one-piece, zip up jumpsuit. BK may well have worn something like this, to make himself less visible in the darkness, but it would have done nothing to prevent him from leaving forensic evidence all over the house. I almost hope that he was wearing something like that, as he may have been less likely to throw it away than if it had been a Tyvek suit. JMO

I read the affidavit, and have been reading these threads (or rather, trying to keep up!).
Something that still isn't clear to me is what happened the next morning and who came to the house first? The reason I am asking is about the Van's like shoe print.
If nobody but LE came in to the house that morning, the bloody shoe print should be the killer's. If other people came in before LE then it would be a lot less useful.
I tried to search this site for this but maybe I am doing it wrong. There is so much to read in all these threads, sorry if my question has been answered before! If there's already somewhere that discussed this, a link would be appreciated!

In the search warrant #4 they were looking for shoes so I think they believe it was the killer's print. I wonder if they have size of said show print? JMO

Dickies makes tops and bottoms and coveralls. Only one tag in the return service list so maybe a coverall? JMO
