Going to ask again because the thread is moving fast. Many pages ago, someone mentioned BF's recall of what she heard that night and where DM and BF slept. Where can I find this? Or can someone summarize for me what BF heard? The PCA doesn't say that DM left her 2nd floor room where she initially saw the killer. Did she leave to go to the first floor? Can anyone clarify?

You're right. We don't know anything about what BF recalls of the night from official sources. There is no indication in the PCA that DM slept downstairs at any point that night, though some have quibbled with the word 'originally', referring to when she went to bed in her room on the second floor. BF slept downstairs all night.

It was first reported right after the murders that both roommates slept through everything and they were on the first floor. Later it was changed to DM being in the bedroom off the kitchen (2nd floor or main floor) by the 3rd floor stairway with BF being on the 1st floor.

To the best of my knowledge there are no other siblings other than the other 2 trips. Not that they can't be married... but don't college kids usually wait until they've graduated? Key word... usually.

An account believed to belong to Ethan's sister-in-law made several posts online before the arrest affidavit was unsealed for suspected quadruple killer Bryan Kohberger.

The court document detailed how surviving roommate Dylan Mortensen came face to face with a masked man on the night of the murders.

Ethan, 20, his girlfriend Xana Kernodle, 20, and Maddie Mogen, 21, and Kaylee Goncalves, 20, were all killed as they slept in the house on November 13.

His sister-in-law has since revealed that Dylan, who was in the property at the time of the killings along with Bethany Funke, called all of the roommates after she heard 'screaming and crying' coming from their rooms.

Posting in a thread on Reddit, she said: 'D supposedly called all the girls in the house after the crying and screaming stopped and no one answered – and she still didn't call the police.

I’m not convinced the story is accurate based on the nature of the attack.

Ultimately, I do hope the victims families learn more about what truthfully happened that evening and gain more understanding of the surviving roommates.

Articles like this also leave me concerned for the safety of the survivors.

I too had not sought out the obits for the very same reason, it is already all too surreal and seeing family pics and stories about their life is heartbreaking. One thing I know I continue to forget when questioning the accounts of that night, why wasn’t this done or why didn’t anyone do this….these were college kids. First time away from home, learning how to navigate on their own. They were growing, maturing, but still very naive and college let them still be “kids” yet learning how to be responsible. I cannot imagine at their age, what horror they felt and IMO everyone, survivors and deceased were all victims. DM and BF will be forever changed and I’m sure replay that night over and over again. Again, IMO, these kids were faced with something so traumatic that no one could be logical or have good reasoning during and after the horrible events of that night. For cowards like BK (accused) there’s a special place in he*/ just for him!

My guess is they had no desire to possibly endanger DM's life by letting the at large killer know there was an eyewitness. JMO

Snipped by me. I agree. IMO, there were SIX victims that night, not four, and no one knows how things unfolded for the 2 surviving victims. I don't begrudge anyone's family the right to vent and question, but articles like this also leave me very concerned that DM and BF will be harassed and potentially re-victimized for their actions in the midst of significant trauma. MOO

I am sorry nobody replied to you and you had to ask twice. I thought about responding but assumed somebody else would have a better grasp of all the reporting.

The post to which you originally asked your questions was saying we have NOT heard from BF. If that is true--and IIRC it is--then there is no place to direct you on that.

As for where DM and BF slept, most of us have assumed DM was sleeping or doing whatever in the "unleased" middle floor bedroom, because that's where she was when she was awaken by noises and saw the intruder "walking toward her" and then going out the sliders. The PCA says she went back into that room and locked the door. Available posts don't mention her whereabouts again until the 911 call just before noon.

Since we've heard nothing to the contrary, most of us assume BF was sleeping in the room she rented on the lowest floor. Whether DM went downstairs and/or joined BF at some point before both girls came outside into the front parking lot, nobody has reported. Again, IIRC.

There has been some speculation in non-WS-approved sources about what DM was doing during the missing 8 hours. No evidence, just accusations. So, again, I can't direct you to something that isn't known by reliable reporters.

Well, I didn't say invited. I just said he could have showed up. I could be wrong, but I get the impression that these parties weren't necessarily closed to an exclusive guest list. These weren't Greek parties. Sounds more like they were just a place where people may show up uninvited or bring people who weren't invited. MOO.

Gotcha. Thank you for this response. I may have misunderstood the post. I thought it was saying that we had heard from BF about her recall and where they slept. I probably read it wrong. Just didn't know if I'd missed something and Google didn't return any reliable responses.
