Is it a fact finger prints are required as a prerequisite for hire in PA schools? At the school corporation I worked at (not PA), only background and drug testing were required. I’ve not seen anything on the PA DOE website requiring fingerprints.
Yes, federal criminal history checks are required and are the FBI fingerprinting check, as it’s more commonly known.

Dad flying out and driving back with BK says VOLUMES about dynamics of family. NO WAY my dad would do that if I was capable of driving on my own as a 28 yr old man. 2500 MILES?? Makes ZERO sense. BK must have had a great BS pitch!
I see it completely different! If my adult son Was driving cross country and I had the ability to get off work, I’d do it in a heartbeat. Road trip! The best conversations I have with my kids are on long drives. You have their undivided attention. Even though he’s a full adult, dad could have enjoyed him as a person. I guess I’m the odd person out here, because my experience with my inner circle of friends, family is the same. We enjoy time with our “kids” and would make an oppty like this an experience. Or maybe it was going to be less expensive to drive, but car was having issues so dad offered to drive with him in case it broke down. They did take it to be serviced when they arrived in PA.

Yes, Bundy was very intelligent and charismatic. He got the court to allow him access to a law library and no jailer. He went out the window and killed more peeps. To this day, this maniac has a following of women who think he's hot. I think he was pathetic individual,
Wow. I never heard this! Insane.

“He’s willing to waive because he’s looking forward to being exonerated. Those were his words,” LaBar said by phone Saturday, about an hour after speaking to Kohberger. “Whether that means he’s innocent or not, it’s implicit in saying he wants to be exonerated that he’s innocent. He didn’t use the word ‘innocent.’”

On Dec. 7, Moscow police asked the public for help locating a 2011-2013 white Hyundai Elantra that had been seen near the house around the time of the killings. On Friday, Kohberger’s arrest was announced, and investigators seized a 2015 car matching the description, Dahlinger said.

A Pennsylvania native, he finished a master’s degree in criminal justice at DeSales University there in June, meaning he had been at WSU for less than a semester at the time of the killings.

Right? How could the father have been completely oblivious. Perhaps BK assumed hiding in plain sight made him less suspect rather than taking extreme measures to disguise the car or his association with it. I swear, certain fact about this case make it seem like BK wanted to be caught.
I wonder if he was suicidal?

What did he do, when one of his victims moved to her parents? Afaik, KG was only visiting her best friend M to show her new bought SUV, but wasn't living anymore at the apartment. If KG indeed was his main target (not known for sure), he had to extend his stalking.
Perhaps X or M was his main target, or even both of them. E&K were possibly collateral damage. Will be interesting to see if we get any info on that at some point though.

If the suspect had any intention of continuing with his studies, he would have flown home for the holidays and left the car at school. The only reason to drive the car across the country after one semester is because he no longer needs a car in Pullman, he isn't staying. It seems like he wants to distance himself and the evidence from Pullman.

Maybe he thought he was home free after arriving at his parent's home in PA.

He didn't move his things out of his apartment, but returning the car to his parent's home seems like he's only going back to Pullman to pack up. Instead, police packed up.
Or made up an excuse to parents why he didn’t need car in WA, so drives it home so it will no longer be on the LE radar in WA/ID. Wouldn’t dropping out of school be. Big red flag?

Curious that a even a random person describes BK as "a bit awkward" after a very short chat they had with him and his father when the Elantra was serviced. I don't think he's any good at stalking or blending in with any type of crowd. Even restaurant personnel thought him a creep and these people usually have pretty high creep "tolerance" so to say. Ninja he is not. It seems he would stand out any place he'd go, so it's a bit weird he wasn't noticed/reported by any of the victims considering how he most likely followed them for some time before he attacked. All just MHO.

Also wasn't he in college working as a TA, not "following their every move for weeks"
Just because he was in school and had a TA position, does NOT mean that he couldn’t stalk the victims every move.

There may be a digital component to his stalking, which could have been done simultaneous to teaching class/grading papers.

Also, many college kids are most active at night. BK could have taught class by day and then stalked them by night.

Soooo many possible scenarios here.

"BK is being forced to wear an anti-suicide vest, also known as a turtle suit, in jail while he awaits extradition to Moscow, Idaho, where he will be charged with the murders of four University of Idaho students."

Using any drug or alcohol will always lead back to the drug of choice. Once you’ve used heroin, that becomes the drug of choice…..it’s daily struggle not to use. My point is I don’t think this guy used heroin, or went to rehab for it. He may have told people that but it’s hard to believe if he drinks.

It depends on the personality or addiction issues of the person. I’ve known people who were previously addicted to opiates who now drink socially and former alcoholics who smoke marijuana casually without issue. It may not be the best decision, but addiction isn’t an all–or–nothing proposition for all people. This guy’s observed drinking habits don’t invalidate the idea that he was a heroin addict years before. Whatever issues at the core of his addiction could be simply be manifesting themselves in other ways.

I would be shocked if he was ever invited to the house. 28 year olds are considered old by college kids, he was new to the area, he was awkward and I don't see him even having guy friends to go with him to make him look a bit cooler.
I agree 100%. The following is MOO. He looks older than his age. Plus, no matter his expression in a picture, or when/where it was taken, his eyes are dead. Even in selfies. And he apparently projects a heavy creep factor in person. Definitely not someone you would want at a lighthearted evening of fun and under-age drinking. But, since that house was well-known as a party house, its not impossible that he could have followed some revelers there one night and crashed a party.

Based on the anecdotes people are sharing about him: stopping random women in the hall at school to ask if they want to hang out, asking his friend's girlfriend to share a bottle and hang out with him, asking wait-staff at restaurants where they live and their schedules (totally predator vibe there), etc., I can see him rolling out some of that behavior and freaking the young ladies out. And the younger guys, flush with alcohol and feeling their manliness, tossing him out on his ear. That kind of humiliation could certainly result in him targeting the house. MY OPINION ONLY.

Now that he's been arrested, maybe his face will remind someone of an interaction where he stood out in a bad way, that might explain him having something against the location or people there.

thanks.

Anybody know if this source is real or verified elsewhere, such as another msm source?
How would a cop local to PA know that the victims had been stalked for weeks or know the forensics evidence from BK's own cell phone?

The two surviving girls may have that answer.

My google searches for links all go back to original source.

Who knows at this time if true.
