BK LIVED in Washington State, taught at a Washington college.

He DROVE 8 miles miles to Moscow IDAHO.

He crossed the state line. From Washington INTO Idaho.

That's how they got the felony burglary charge.

Moo..
I am trying to understand your confusion. The felony burglary charge is an Idaho statute.

Felony does not equate to federal. I don't know how else to explain it. Every state has felony crimes. It is a classification, not a jurisdiction.

Burglary

As defined in Idaho Code §18-1401, burglary is entering any property such as a home or store with the intent to commit a theft or a felony. This is a felony offense with a penalty of a mandatory 1 year in an Idaho state prison that can be up to 10 years.

18-1401. Burglary defined. Every person who enters any house, room, apartment, tenement, shop, warehouse, store, mill, barn, stable, outhouse, or other building, tent, vessel, vehicle, trailer, airplane or railroad car, with intent to commit any theft or any felony, is guilty of burglary.
18-1403. Punishment for burglary. Burglary is punishable by imprisonment in the state prison for not less than one (1) nor more than ten (10) years.

For those who thought he may have cleaned up before leaving the house? I think so, and that was very likely his downfall.

Both 23andMe and Ancestry confirm your genetic information could be disclosed to law enforcement if they have a warrant.

That article is from 2019. The laws and TOS have changed since then....

All depends on context, I guess. 44 Degrees in January is warm if you're from a cold weather state. When I was in Boston that was t-shirt weather in January and sweater weather in April.

After a decade living in a California beach city? 44 mind as well be 0 degrees.
Exactly this! Once you’ve lived thru a cold state winter 44 degrees in Jan is nothing. Also looks like he’s wearing a vest under his clothing. He will survive his 11 second walk from van to door just fine.

Do you have a link to any federal charges?

Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, was arrested in his home state of Pennsylvania and charged with four counts of murder in the first degree, as well as felony burglary in connection with the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students in November, according to Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson.

No, the felony burglary charge is a state charge, for entering a residence to commit a felony (murder). I see no potential federal charges in this case.

Copied from the previous thread- these are my exact thoughts on what happened too.

“My thought is what if BK visited the Mad Greek for vegan food & was rebuffed by Xana or Maddie or both after he tried to flirt with them.....the guy has anger issues. Possibly followed them home one night to see where they live & stalk them. To find out their schedule & best possible time to attack.

From his stalking, he finds out Xana sleeps on the 2nd floor & Maddie on the 3rd floor.......lets not forget, Ethan doesnt live in that house & im assuming BK was not expecting him to be there. Also Kaylee was just visiting & was only there for a few days if not mistaken, & if those assumptions are correct, Ethan & Kaylee with collateral damage, wrong place at the wrong time.

His targets possibly were Xana & Maddie.....hence the murders on the 2nd & 3rd floors but not the first floor. Im assuming he knew those other two girls lived in that house if he was stalking Xana & Maddie, but didnt care about them.

All speculation on my part, we will see the truth come out as we learn more.”

Ancestry claims that police did not make their intentions clear in that early request.

They successfully contested each and every subsequent request and no longer allow law enforcement access to their database. Which is consistent with everything that we've heard.

GEDMatch continues to be cited by most familial DNA work.
Thank you for this debunking and explanation post, Schooling!
There is a lot of old and outdated info floating around.

I wonder if they even managed to get him in the police car at his parents house before he invoked his right to remain silent and ask for a lawyer.
“LaBar told Law&Crime’s Angenette Levythat Kohberger spoke with law enforcement for five to 15 minutes at the Pennsylvania State Police barracks following his arrest early last Friday morning.

Initially, Kohberger waived his Miranda rights but then requested an attorney. LaBar said Kohberger told him that police asked his client if he understood what was going on, and he responded by saying something to the effect of “yes, certainly I’m aware of what’s going on. I’m 10 miles away from this.” Then, LaBar said, Kohberger invoked his right to counsel and asked for an attorney.”

Yep, he's not Brad Pitt or Jon Hamm (dating myself) but he's not some toad, either. Which makes me think it's his personality that was extremely off-putting to the ladies combined with thinking he should be with a supermodel. Also, we don't know if he has dated or had relationships because if this was one of my romantic fails, I wouldn't be bragging it about to the media. LE, we'd have a good old chat, though.

MOO
What makes u think he would only date supermodels ? I haven’t found anything to do with his sexuality or romantic relationships.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but its my first time reading this..

So annoying that you can't post a reply to a previous thread...

Anywho, @Mad Hettie

Your post/question: Don't they have a female unit there? When I was a student nurse, every jail I went to train in had a completely separate area for women inmates and different times they could see the nurse and social workers.

IMO, from what I have been reading here, it seems to vary state to state, maybe even county to county. I can only speak for how it is here in the county I am from (husband is a corrections officer), and yes they do have separate tiers for male and female. However, she was more than likely just in "holding" pending court appearance and/or transfer, for which most jails have a general holding area.
Debunked.
