The coroner is a licensed MD and specialized forensics and other specialists may be involved but certainly they have additional legal qualifications to document the manner of the death. The forensic pathologist may perform the autopsy but both work together on cases and consult. The coroner are representatives with knowledge of the necessary documation for the public record but certainly, they are more than qualified to assess and document the circumstances as a collaboration with a team. The coroner is not a paper signer ignorant of their medical expertise.
Correct. They are searching for a car "with an unknown license plate," not a car without a license plate. Those are two very different things."Detectives are interested in speaking with the occupant(s) of a white 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantra, with an unknown license plate," the Moscow Police Department said Wednesday. Detectives believe the occupant or occupants may have "critical information to share" regarding the slayings, police said.
This is 6 days old, not new.Police looking for Hyundai Elantra in connection with murdered Idaho college students
Police said "tips and leads" have indicated that the person or persons in the vehicle might have "critical information" about the slayings.www.cbsnews.com
@samanthadaniels1995 Are you referring to the coroner in this case? She is not a licensed MD. The autopsies were done by an Medical Examiner/MD in Spokane, WA.
Excellent!I wanted to get an idea of how busy I-95 would be at 3:45AM and I found an archived traffic cam on I-95 and 6th Street. This is from 4AM today (may be slightly busier on the weekends), but it is completely empty. A car speeding down the road at 3:45AM seems like it would be out of the ordinary. MOO.

So not all coroner's are licensed MDs. Thank you for that clarification.@samanthadaniels1995 Are you referring to the coroner in this case? She is not a licensed MD. The autopsies were done by an Medical Examiner/MD in Spokane, WA.
Perhaps not on the weekend in a university town.I wanted to get an idea of how busy I-95 would be at 3:45AM and I found an archived traffic cam on I-95 and 6th Street. Thank you. I was supporting your statement that the coroner would have knowledge based on her experience and training. Ability to review evidence and assign the appropriate documentation process. My point was the Coroner had their report and analysis, and even is involved in the process of releasing it.
Because earlier threads people were saying she would not have knowledge of the injuries.

Not to be nitpicky but it is State Route 95 not Interstate or I-95. I-95 only runs North/South on the East Coast of USI wanted to get an idea of how busy I-95 would be at 3:45AM and I found an archived traffic cam on I-95 and 6th Street.
