The audio was always there for anyone who listened carefully to the original footage when it was first released - in my opinion. Nothing stood out at the time.

If only it was so easy to solve murders! Finding someone connected to any one of the victims, and figuring a way to imply that they were at the murder scene, is well known as "tunnel vision". It is the opposite of following the evidence. It is the strategy that has resulted in wrongful convictions.
They obviously shouldn’t imply that, and I agree with you there.

Homicide stats would also tell us they better have mapped his whereabouts the rest of that night / morning.

Have you all seen this? Fox just posted.

I think that this is important for the reasons mentioned in the article, but also, who is the person mentioned, and what kind of everything did M tell him?

Poor guy is going to be sleuthed to pieces now. I don't know why anyone would think it was a good idea to put an innocent person's photo out there.
It doesn't make sense to me. I don't know why these facebook groups feel the need to inject themselves into active investigations.

If you think you can do this job better than LE, anyone is welcome to enroll in their local police academy or apply to become an FBI agent. Otherwise, it's just attention seeking IMO.

It's a second surveillance video. Not the one from the food truck. This is from a random surveillance camera on the street. The owner apparently gave the information to LE and then leaked it to a Facebook group that just decided on their own to publish it now.

iMO, there are a lot of student housing, Apts in that area. It was a Saturday night, sounds like it could of been drug deliveries
And if the sororities offer the "sober sister" ride service that K and M used to get home, there could have been dozens of similar rides being given that night, to all corners of the town and at all hours.

because Fox is willing to toss one of them some cash.
One of the reporters will have been contacting a person within the group.

Whole article feels value-less to me.
all that's new is the snippet of the two girls' conversation

IF the white vehicle spotted driving west (towards the house) on Taylor Road between 2:45 and 3:15 was the perp's, that discounts the theories that they were waiting in the house when the students returned home or that they were observing the house from the woods for a long time before entering. Did the perp(s) even know beforehand who would be home? Where did they likely park? Their arrival was also after K and M started sending messages to JD, so those were not related.
Brief theory, JMO and as a prompt to rethink:
The killer is in the Hyundai all along but his sidekick lives in the neighborhood such that the sidekick can actually view at least the back entrance, the sliding door arrangement on the second and third level and possibly portion of the back balcony and thus Maddie's room.
The (4) victims are seen in the home that night and sidekick signals the killer: Maybe not even by phone.
Killer drops car somewhere beyond view of immediate cameras and hikes to back door. After crime, returns to car and gets out of Dodge. Maybe to east?
Killer is from out of town but Sidekick is the planner and in arranging things with killer has had killer view house from a number of vantage points that were in effect all the bedroom windows, and the stack of sliding doors.
Thus Hyundai is actually an out of town vehicle and there would not be any prior video of it from the neighborhood of the house. Car may have been stolen but more likely, was wearing a false set of plates that night and has subsequently been destroyed or drowned.
Sidekick is the psychopath. Killer is a weak minded acolyte.

I posted at the very beginning it could easily be a person on a bad drug trip. Party houses were all around, not just this one. In the cases I've seen where rage seems to be the motivator, it has been because the person was reacting violently to bad drugs. And there are some that cause a violent reaction. I just don't see how a sober person could cause this carnage. Not on 4 people. I also think KG was probably the last victim because she fought the hardest. She fought till there was no fight left in her!
Alternatively, I’m aware of a wide variety of crimes —including violent ones —when the criminal intentionally takes hard drugs (typically uppers of one kind or another) to amp themselves prior to engaging in planned criminal activity. False courage, if you will.

I just don’t know that the new article means the HG is Adam. It could be them discussing someone else. Imho. So maybe HG is not Adam and someone else is?

Or, do I miss something in article?
I don't see anything new in the images - the food truck footage shows the three of them walking towards the food truck, then the two females order food, then they leave. The person who walked to the food truck with them leaves in a different direction after they leave. He has been ruled out by police.

Right and they just happened to catch a name. Bet the girls mentioned a ton of names that night. Doesn't mean anything to me.

I mean the blade, not the exact knife. Maybe it’s possible this type of knife could be made with a hilt? (Although I couldn’t find an example online.)

I think they have a side shot from the car that passed Linda Lane, so no plate. They may have a plate image from the car that passed by the gas station…which would be relevant only if that’s the same car.

I am ashamed to admit that at first I thought Linda Lane was a person.

Marijuana in all forms, medical and otherwise, is illegal in Idaho. So anything being delivered in Idaho was being done so illegally, not by a dispensary.
Oh ok, I thought by what was said to me it was legal, thanks for clearing that up, much appreciated
