I think I'm losing it. I did a search on the U of I site for Kaylee. The result is in the attached screenshot. I clicked on the deans list link and I swear her name is gone.

Feel free to point out the obvious to me.

Uhm... I'm unclear as to what you're saying. Her name is there?

ETA:
Ahh, I was looking at your attachment. Yes, it does appear that they have disappeared her. :(

She means it's not on the most recent (Fall 2022) list - at least I don't see it. It's not the attached list, it's the link she provided.

Just to inform anyone who may not know about the scream.

The police bodycam video that was released that may or may not be a scream is open to anyone's interpretation. And the police have made no official determination as to what it was.

However the scream that was widely reported that was said to be from an apartment in the apartment buildings next to the house, where a girl appears to say

STOP IT..... leave me a--lone

is a fraud.

It was overdubbed by a YouTuber from another recording of those words from a domestic abuse incident and then put it out as factual scream from the murder house.

This is Ashley Banfield from NewsNation interviewing the person who discovered the recording was a fraud. I have to use this link to show it in order for you to see it but this is from her show BANFIELD.

Okay, if true, and I assume it is, that clarifies the way that the official press releases say, (and I’m using my own words,) that you can’t trust videos that don’t come directly from LE, because they may have been tampered with.

MOO

I firmly believe what happened came from that frat house after E&X returned home and K&M were caught up in it because they saw who was there when they came home.

In other words, taking SG at his word, there was a drunken brawl with the perpetrator maybe taking some drug like meth, that resulted in a hell of a battle on the second floor.

Sometimes the simplest explanation is the correct one.

JMO
(Snipped for brevity)
If that was the case, I would think the surviving housemates on the first floor would have heard the commotion (and react?). Yet they heard nothing. MOO.

I don't think whatever M told A upset K that much. I would think that if anything had upset either one of them, they wouldn't have been found in the same bed. Remember they have been best friends for years.
Maybe M told A "everything" that K has not wanted to discuss, something heavy going on in her life. Possibly having to do with the reason for suddenly up and leaving and parting ways with J. Just pondering and totally MOO. And my best friends put up with alot of nonsense from me and maybe scold me or don't like what i may say or do, but in the end, we are always there for each other. MOO.

I'm saying I clicked on THAT link thats shown in the attachment. Kaylee clearly shows. But when you click on the link her name is gone.

Thank you. Much appreciated. So if 2020 was the end of her Freshman year, and she could graduate in the spring of 2023, would she not be able to transfer any necessary credits to Texas if she needed, and graduate on time or a bit later, with an internship? After enjoying some travel. Just wondering.

Could she have brought in a semester’s worth of advanced placement courses, that would have cleared out General Ed classes, and enabled her to graduate a semester early? She might have considered staying the entire year, maybe filling out a minor, or a double major, and then when she got the good job offer, decided to go for it.

Just my speculation, but advanced placement courses are ubiquitous, nowadays, and she seems to have been enterprising and smart.

And, as others have said, I think that she’d have had trouble transferring credits, just for her final semester. And, as I see it, no reason to think that she planned that, since everything that we’ve heard is that she planned to graduate in December. For some reason, I want to cry.

She was on the spring list. The current list is for the fall. Google cache has the list for spring, where she is listed.

they would all need to sign the lease if they are living there. U can tell from their venmos they all shared bills.
I do recall that when the surprise news came out about a sixth roommate, who was not there at the time of the murders, and had apparently already moved out, it was because some media source or Youtube podcaster had accessed a copy of the lease, and it showed that a sixth person was named on the lease, which pretty much tells you that the other five living there were on the lease as well. LE pretty much confirmed dthe information, in the below linked update. Perhaps only one was ultimately responsible for payment, but it seems that all six were named. JMO

MOSCOW, Idaho – The Moscow Police Department is providing the following information to update the public on the known facts surrounding the four murders that occurred on November 13th in Moscow, Idaho. Updated Information: • Detectives are aware of a sixth person listed on the lease at the residence but do not believe that individual was present during the incident

One (of many things that confuses me about this case) is the timeline, specifically the timing around the known calls to the ex-bf at 2:52. Clearly, K and M were wide awake at that point. Elantra in area between 2:45 and 3:15. Is the suggestion that the murders happened in the earlier part of the 3:00am hour? Seems so risky to assume K and M would be fully asleep so quickly after calling ex.
I hadn't really thought about this, but maybe K and M didn't make the calls?

Their cache needs to stop messing with me. :)

Well then I'd guess the link is this semester's final results - and no, Kaylee wouldn't be on it. She has definitely been on it in the past.

Unless, of course, she passed her courses with whatever GPA was required - in which case, she shouldn't have had her name on the list of graduates. Per her parents though.

We have no clue how close K actually was to graduation (although her major's pattern is by no means comprised of difficult-to-enroll-in classes - not impacted). But we do know that she maintained a very healthy GPA.

I truly believe she was about to graduate (another source of envy? from someone who was in their Nth year?)

"Cops investigating the quadruple student murders in Moscow, Idaho, have been offered counseling as the investigation moves into its seventh week with police yet to name a suspect or motive and under intense pressure to resolve the case."

She did, but they updated the list to fall and she was on the list for spring. You can view it on Google cache.

I was just rereading the police update which doesn't really have any new information. But it really struck me how they are emphasizing a request for photos, videos and social media from the night, rather than just asking for tips or information about the night. Especially since they also emphasize that they don't care about the background activities (by which I assume they mean illegal activities that kids might not want to bring to LE attention). It seems like it would be easier to get someone to just say "I saw XYZ happen when I was at the party" without needing to mention that they were drinking underage or whatever. But they really seem to be seeking visual evidence. Is this just because visual evidence is more reliable? Or are they looking to see something specific? JMO

They probably have a good idea what they were doing that night, maybe they're looking for people on photo's that they haven't interviewed so far.

She matriculated to U of I in 2019. She probably planned to finish her units by online classes (profs tend to be less rigid about this, these days and her major was not one that required a skills demonstration as a capstone). I feel so badly for her and her parents, that she didn't get to go to graduation, that her young dreams ended this way.

I wish U of I had seen fit to award her degree if she was only 6-9 units short and had started completion of those units, but I guess I get why they didn't. I just wish they'd be more rigid about alcohol on campus. Kaylee was trying to be responsible (IMO) and combine that with being popular and ambitious.

MOO of course.
SFFBM

The UI has a process for posthumous undergrad (& grad) degree awards.

My hope is the timing of the horrific murders simply didn’t allow for the process to be completed and that K & M — both seniors — will qualify by the big Spring Commencement in May if not sooner. Both families might also appreciate the respite.

For those interested in the details, you can read more Here - scroll down to O-11.

HTH & MOO

Is this just because visual evidence is more reliable? Or are they looking to see something specific?
imo jmo yes on both. they may be looking for something specific - or at least it will be once they recognize it - and it will be much more compelling if it's documented v. relying on someone's memory. imo jmo

She does indeed seem to do that. Imo she holds the phone up way too long for her to have been just taking a photo.

Unless she is taking a forward looking video (of say, someone above her in the grub truck?) I think it is logical to conclude that she is taking a reverse (selfie type) video of somebody standing behind her. Now why would she do that?
When I watched the video it had been slowed down and it looked to me that MM was joking around pretending to climb up and in the truck she then stepped down and said something to KB she then went back and that was when KB was aiming the camera at Mm pretending to climb again.

Just my opinion and observation.
