I am guessing that LE, FBI, USDOJ Prosecutors, County Prosecutors (2 counties) and Klein, now have information showing these parents all over that mountain during Friday morning starting around 8:00 AM.
According to Klein there are witness who open up the timeline.

KIC: Very good question. We answered that in one of the many interviews - and I will got over it again. When we first started this case we thought we had the timeline down pretty tight - however - now we have four more witnesses that open the timeline to an extended period. That timeline is now 8 a.m. to 2:26 pm.


Klein also states the parents story about the walk to the creek is a myth. so I am thinking that evidence is showing investigators that this never happened. If that is true would it be cell phone pings that are showing them this little walk away from baby Deoor over the hill never happened? Or is one of the other POI's coming forward with new info? Someone else was walking around near them?

Q: I just really want to know how long was his parents gone for when they went for a walk and also did they just wonder of without even asking grandfather to look after baby Deorr

Someone posted a way back that it just didn't make sense that as soon as the parents took a walk, BAM baby Deoor disappears. Sorry don't remember who stated that but guess what, looks like you are correct because according to Klein, its a myth. JMO!

There was a mention of cell pings. No mention of GPS. GPS records a map of the phone's movements and cannot be turned off. There are options to not share your GPS with certain apps or all apps on your phone but it only turns off the APPS from storing the GPS data. The FBI can and would have pulled that GPS data on all the phones.

You can view your own GPS timeline by searching "google maps timeline" on the web and login to Your Timeline using your google play store name and password you use on your phone. You might be shocked at what you see.

Does that only work on Android phones or would it work on iPhones as well? I don't have an iphone so I have no idea.

So, how many people were there at some point at that campsite ? 8 ?
And what were they doing ; apparently NOT camping , imo; as only gear for the four was packed.

How can these investigators possibly begin to ferret out the truth when there are so many versions of what exactly happened to this missing baby ?
Not to mention they may have been told something far from the truth ?

Why is this the million dollar question? They were less than truthful according to SB's answers about the polygraphs. Not to mention the inconsistencies in their stories. I thought it was already established that they have lied numerous times.

What hoops do US LE have to go through to acquire ping data and the like? I'm surprised it has taken 7 months if that is what KIC's expanding of the timeline is about.

Why would they need to be at camp? I figured the parents probably just got up early and went hauling off to dispose of something far far away... And someone probably saw them driving around at 8am.

I'm finally caught up but feeling so sad at what I've read so far. I want to put forth a hypothetical situation, just because I need to comment.
I go to a friends house and she has a young child. I ask where the child is and I'm told he's sleeping. I don't go to the child's bedroom to check if this is true. I take the parents word for it.
The next day LE is at my door. The child is missing, what do I know?? Well, nothing. I didn't see the child. I just took the word of the parent that he was there.
Were IR and GGP used to set this up since it seemed they wouldn't question the sudden panic in finding Deorr.

Maybe they were NOT at camp? Maybe they were somewhere where people saw them?

After listening to the Iheart Radio interview with Bowman (finally catching up) he stated that IR went fishing or down tot he creek wit parents and that he did see him - (?) which to me leaves GGP, no? Am i missing something He said definitely YES that DeOrr was there, which I had wondered if he was at all.

If VDK's truck used diesel and the diesel they bought was put in a can (I don't know that it was) I wouldn't find that suspicious. We always carried extra diesel in cans in the back of our diesel truck when we were RVing. Cheap insurance if there's none available. I don't think they burned up little DeOrr's body, although anything is possible at this point! JMO

Yes, Iphones have GPS that cannot be turned off. I do not know if they make that info available to it's users. The info that google collects on its users can be "cleared" but that only clears the info that is available to you to see. All info that google collects is stored by google. I'm sure Apple is the same. Of course, whether or not that stored information is kept confidential is a topic for another time and another forum.

I don't recall that he said when he first realized that their campsite was visible from the road above. He mentioned it during their first interview, about three days after DeOrr disappeared. I got the general impression from his rambling comment that he discovered that during the search. But I don't know that for sure.
