That it is a good point about the failing every test. Klein might have said some other things to her/the news station. I take back what I said until I see this news report.

It will have to be tomorrow for me now because it is gone 2:30am here and need to sleep!

The interview is excellent!

Homicide=murder (right?)
Accident=accident (right?)

So.....is Klein still saying one or the other (not sure at this time)?

In the interview he said accident/coverup or homicide. They are not ready to say which for sure!

Klein said things are moving very rapidly with all of them (sheriff, FBI and his team) all on the same page. He sounds quite confident that things are going to be all tied in and that arrests will be made shortly. I sure hope that they can find this sweet baby and figure out what happened to him. I doubt that either parent will change their tune at this point. ETA- the interview was very well done, IMO.

Isaac Reinwand has changed. Given them a statement and is now cooperating with them and they have spoken to him on multiple occasions and he has now come forward. Klein is thanking him for coming forward.
(Paraphrasing, not word for word.)

Thank you. COD and a body are not neededfor a second degree murder conviction. This is a great example.
But yet prosecutors will have to prove there was a murder. I'm on my tablet now and can't link articles but Google men's rea and actus rea. This should tell you why it's far more difficult than it appears.

Just FYI - Idaho does not have degrees of murder. Murder is murder, all other homicides are listed as manslaughter, voluntary or involuntary.

Good for him! I don't care how great a friend someone is or how few friends I have, I'm not going to help cover up a toddlers death. There are obviously no winners in this case but I'm glad it seems like he will be able to come out of this with his honor intact. Hopefully he didn't obstruct and can go back to a normal life as he seems like a guy who just wants to be left alone.

Klein said they will be searching the lower part of the campground. Is that where they were camping?

Yes, he said a specific area & that there will be specializes dogs from GA, I wonder what specialization. I googled cadaver dogs Georgia & came up with several results- nothing jumped out at me to indicate what specialty. I imagine that with the ground being frozen & limited human traffic over the winter that existing cadaver scent cues may be more apparent. That is a SWAG on my part, if anyone has more knowledge on the topic??

They were camping at the lower campground. It's unclear if the new search will be specifically at the campground or near it.

I wonder if IR was indeed the one who shared previously withheld information in January, the weekend all four POIs were re interviewed? Sounds like it to me.

From Jan. 18th - http://www.postregister.com/article.../18/investigator-believes-deorr-kunz-jr-dead#

"New leads have been developed thanks to information that was previously withheld, according to a Lemhi County Sheriff’s Office news release. Chief deputy Steve Penner refused to elaborate on what those leads may be as the case remains an active investigation.

I wanted to keep these two time references together.

In Tricia's Interview dated Jan. 28th (media page 4)

30:58
Bessie: Well, Sheriff, we’d just like to know, are there plans for any further searches?

31:03
SB: You know absolutely. Right now the National Association for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) have expressed an interest in coming back up with dogs so we’re entertaining that. Recently we were in on snowmobiles. There’s 4-6 feet of snow in there so right now, of course, that’s not possible. Basically, we’re just asking anybody that has firsthand knowledge of conversations that they either overheard or observed—some sort of dialogue between the parents and the infant that seemed unusual, please contact us with the information.

BBM this has nagged at me, what caused them to go out there in that amount of snow? I surmised perhaps pings perhaps from the FBI report & SB also indicated some inform. are still being worked on. But, wait could IR given some information, that made them want to go up there even in that snow? IDK, what could they find?

Another, thought that has always niggled me is in SB's lst sentence..."so we're entertaining that thought." Is he saying entertaining as he doesn't feel it will be necessary??? I hope!

I am familiar with those terms, being in Latin makes them sound complex but they are relatively simple concepts. You have to mean or intend to commit a crime for mens rea and you have to have physically committed a crime for actus rea. It is hard to prove murder as it should be because that's a heavy charge.

Who knows what evidence they might have but for the sake of discussion lets say they can't prove murder. Perhaps involuntary manslaughter, I am very positive there are multiple lesser charges that will be piled on. There is obstruction, interfering/impeding law enforcement, tampering with a scene, lying to investigators, possible fraud with their taking money from the public. I'm not a prosecutor but I have to think even if this is some form of "accidental" death they are going to come at the guilty parties with a whole host of additional charges. You can't play peek-a-boo with the cops and FBI for 7 months and expect them to let that slide.

I'm sure Klein said the lower part of the campground.

Klein has a strange way of using words, so it wasn't really clear to me what he meant. He also said they would be searching in Leadore and then changed it to "campground". In other interviews, he used the words "mountain" and "campground" interchangeably.

I doubt they'll be very specific about where they are searching just due to the possibility of the public going in to search ahead of time.

Exactly. I hope that Klein hasn't said too much already.
