we have no idea what all those kids could have gone through..rape, torture..they could have done anything..the kids would never live to tell..this isn't just a story of money , sex and power..it's now a story of child abuse, torture and murder. mOO
 
Just my opinion, but why are they discussing the finding of the children's remains again? They already had testimony concerning this several weeks ago! Remember the day Lori tried to be excused from the afternoon session because photos of the children's corpses were being shown as they were exhumed? and was denied? Why is the prosecution going over this same ground yet again? This is nuts, IMO.

5 they don't want the loved one doomed with an ES staying in them in this life (since they can't get it out) and then still there in you future lives
6 so they need to kill the body, which expels the ES,
7 but the ES will only leave for 2 minutes,
8 so to keep the ES from re-entering, they can bind or burn the body, which then keeps the ES from being able to get back in, and therefore will allow you to go to a future life free of ES

You nailed it!

When you start with an actual belief in their extreme premises about multiple lives and evil spirits, then there's an understandable set of logic to the teaching that was being developed, taking followers right down the rabbit hole into sheer madness in thought and action. Killing people is ok? What is wrong with you?

For those who believe the Bible, teaching of false unbiblical ideas can beget and be used to try to justify great evil; it says: "... in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons." That is what has been occurring here imo, and the depravity and evil we are seeing is the result.

The earlier testimony about the discovery of the bodies (Ray Hermosilla, Rexburg PD) was the 3rd witness to speak. I believe it was intended to set the stage and show the jury the seriousness of the crimes to which LVD was being accused.

The prosecution then backtracked to lay out what led up to these events, and now they have new witnesses, two weeks later, that are going into more depth about the findings at the gravesites.

I've included a full list of witnesses thus far here to show how the prosecution has been working through the timeline:
