so, it would appear that BB was shot at as he drove past the Jeep and was turning into his home? Then he drove off and the Jeep followed him. So, BB did not turn into his drive but drove off somehwere else and the Jeep trailed him for a while? Does this indicate that there was a separate driver and the shooter was not alone?

Good question. I saw something on YouTube where they had removed the back seat and spare from a jeep to show the layout, and explained how a shooter lying there would have had to crawl over the console to get back into the driver's seat (if they didn't use a door).

IMOO, there is speculation that this was carried out by two people, one in the back and a getaway driver.

This is my first post, please bear with me. Several threads back, someone posted a picture of the dig spot, showing the orange duffle bag, on the blue tarp. The FBI photographer (CSI person?) is taking a picture, and that area of ground, IMO, looks stained, from bodily oils/fluids/decomp. The inside/bottom of the orange duffle (I can see handles on it) bag looks to be rotted out, from decomp. As far as any remains inside, that's hard to tell.

But, regarding the picture, at the bottom of that "H" looking thing, there's a cinder block. On that block is something black. I've blown up the picture, and IMO, it looks like a toy puppy. Any ideas on it? Again, this is JMO (lol those are my initials!) Thanks!

This may have already been asked, I'm still catching up. I'm curious to know how you knew was a lawyer?
I suppose it could have been clergy. But they are still only allowed lawyers and clergy to visit at the women’s center.

Edit to add: they weren’t dressed like any clergy I’ve seen and they were carrying a lot of file folders and brief case. Just didn’t seem like a clergyman to me. But I could have been mistaken

Lots of confusion about the shooting. The attached diagram shows my reconstruction based on the transcript of the 911 call, which was confirmed by Justin Lum's interview of neighbors.

The Jeep was laying in wait parked on the wrong side of the street up against an uninvolved car.

After the shot, the Jeep trailed Brandon for a while but Brandon did turn into his driveway. Understandably, Brandon reported he was being followed when actually the Jeep was just trying to get out of there.

Hope this helps.

Yes a welfare check is very different from a CPS action or a "custody dispute." A welfare check can be requested by anyone that believes a person is in immediate danger. The threshold is somewhat high, you can't just call the cops and say "hey drive over to someone's house and see if they are there." You must give adequate evidence that leads the police to believe that the person you are requesting the check on is in danger. For instance, JR's neighbor called for a welfare check when he had not been seen in days, which ultimately led to the discovery of his body. In this instance the grandparents had not heard from JJ in several weeks and there were suspicious deaths and attempted murders the police were investigating concurrent with his disappearance, as is pointed out in the affidavit. The police had sufficient cause to conduct the welfare check. MOO

Welcome! Glad you are here! Great first post.

I do wonder what that little dog (looks like to me) was all about. I do know if it had come from the burial site it would not be sitting on the cinder block. They’d be preserving the evidence. My guess is it’s either a toy of JJ’s with his scent on it for the cadaver dog. It sure is ironic that it is black like JJ’s dog was. (Not sure if a cadaver dog can actually look for a live persons scent) Or, maybe it was a toy for the actual cadaver dog that was on site. Maybe @vislaw can give us an idea. Is it even possible that one of the people working the crime scene has some superstition like bringing something like that to the scene?

ETA: I wonder if it was some sort of ceramic statue already there? I’ll look back at before pics.

I remember seeing this before and it turned out to be a camera.

It's not anything from the dig, if that's what you're thinking. It was there from at least 11/23/19 as per a video I saw on twitter posted on that date

It's been discussed before as a possible dog or possibly a piece of equip but it really does look more so like a little dog, good job! It looks like you can see toenails and a tongue in this one. Jmo
ETA just saw the post of a pic from 11/23/19 weird place for a little dog or whatever it is. It is curious since it isn't from the dig.

Curious. If AxC’s wife’s statement can be trusted, and AxC was complaining of symptoms in advance of his death, it is highly unlikely that he committed suicide by undetectable poison.

Also, if AxC was involved in the death of Tammy, and she was killed by some sort of undetectable poison, wouldn’t he have been suspicious when he was suffering from such symptoms and sought help?

MOO.
Wondering what she gained by marrying AxC? Money? Odd her child didn’t know his last name or marriage? Very odd!
